How to PLAY FAST!

In this video we tackle playing fast on the sax. Whether it's reading semiquaver passages, or learning double-time licks, it's best to divide it up into small chunks and get your fingers used to playing it bit-by-bit.

I remember being surprised how many times this phrase appears in the Parker omnibook - and almost always in this specific key too. I’ll have to dig it out to see how many. Not sure about Parker’s Mood (because it’s in concert Bb), but KC blues quite possibly 👍

Just practice in a structured manner 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️ good sound - stop saying the whole time "o.k." 😱
