Revell MIG 21 F13 full Build

MIG-21 F13 by Revell full build.
I am building this as a prop for photos so I am building it wheels up and I am adding a pilot and I even have a volunteer but he wont like it...

I built the Frog version of this - but the revell one looks more detailed - great job!

revell will be leaps and bounds ahead of frog , frog was triangs competition to airfix in the 70s when triang merged with them one of the brands had to go and airfix was the biggest

I was thinking about the pilot - the one from the Dinky Harrier would probably have fitted perfectly. Revell's aircraft seats always seem to err on the smaller size - possibly to dissuade most people from fitting a pilot figure, perhaps? Whatever, your MiG looks superb when finished. Nice one.

I think looking at him he might be better fit but that seat is quite narrow.

Amazon has this kit, but priced at $70! I don't do ebay, period. Probably cheaper there though. I'll keep checking at Amazon, in hopes another seller will be reasonable. Detail of this model looks pretty good compared to other companies. I do have Zvezda's Mig-21bis to build. It's a later variant with more external ordnance.

knew it was going to be an artists model .. are you a conventional artist or a digital artist ????????...i often build kits with semi retracted undercarriage to photograph them for artists models for paintings

I do like doing "analogue" art but my main thing is photography and digital manipulation I have taught it but that was a good while ago.
