He is NOT underrated at all. That is such a cliche thing to say. Do you even know what you're saying? You're saying when most people hear him sing,, they rate it low or trash. His voice is superb, everyone who hears it thinks so. Think about what you're trying to say and come again without the 'underrated' bs. He is not as well-known as some other singers are, that doesn't make him underrated.
The Eagles are in the top five best groups of ALL TIME .... and that would be in just about everybody's list! So many memories from the '70's with their music. It's amazing how a song can take you back to another time and place, even if just for a second or two!
This definitely takes me back to my childhood. I didn't know anything about not one of the Eagles. I just remember hearing my older siblings playing their songs.

The Eagles are the most precise, and meticulous band I've ever seen. Everything is considered, and accounted for. Largely due to Don Henley the drummer being a merciless perfectionist. It didn't always create the best working environment for the band, but the results are amazing.
I was lucky enough to see them live in 1995. To think Timothy was nervous singing lead. They ALL can sing very well and harmonize as well as any band I've ever heard in my life.

The last studio album the Eagles did before they broke up. They didn't get back together until the early 90s. They have 2 albums in the top 10 best selling albums of all time. Schmidt on bass and singing lead on this song,Joe Walsh on keyboards instead of guitar and Don Felder on guitar.All some of the best at their craft,and all sing lead at times,but Felder only sang lead on Visions,which is rarely heard..This video is from the '70's,before Glenn passed in '16 and before Felder was kicked out of the band in '01.They were one of the best bands to come from the US,and are still playing today,but I think they are on their farewell tour now.
Saw them all four times at the Forum in January, and twice at the Sphere. Henley didn't rule out another farewell tour. Vince Gill and Deacon Frey are as good as it gets when it comes to replacing the irreplaceable. Deacon sounds a bit like his dad, which helps.
On about 50% of the songs. Everyone had songs make their albums. Even Don Felder. Henley and Frey were the best songwriters in the bandĺ, so naturally the sang lead the most.
