Love that you are doing this. Many sleep on the iPad and probably already have one. Great tool to spice things up with your gear.

@@krazywabbit thank you so much dude, first time doing any kinda of tutorial or commentary on gear but I get asked about the setups I use every time I post something so wanted to have something here to share with people. Thanks for watching dude! ❤️

Thanks for the videos. Would've been nice though to have seen more of the details of the routing and plugin in stuff. Some things are not so obvious.

Nice! All this time I didn't know you could sequence the Peak via it's USB! What iPad and USB hub do you use for all this? So you have the Peak, Dreadbox, audio interface all plugged into your hub then to the iPad?

@@G0nz0uk exactly that dude. I think if you have time check video 2, it describes the whole usb hub and midi aspect.
Just make sure it has power in port, then you charge your iPad as you jam and power all your connected devices.

Thanks, I’ll watch that later, with this setup the can you use also use AUM and your effects apps with the Peak?

@@G0nz0uk absolutely dude. Everything I did in part one you can do to audio that comes in from an audio interface.

@@streetdoghanoi I think I need an audio interface, I put all mine through my Bluebox 1010. My iPad is old though (2017) and the port into an audio interface usually has power issues. I borrowed to a friends 2022 ipad and it works just fine. My goal is to get an ambient setup with my Peak, iPad for effects/drones, Hapax, Digitone, Digitakt.

@@G0nz0uk sounds like an upgrade would be a good idea but a used iPad Pro would be fine, just make sure the port is usb C. Also all your devices are stereo out so you need at least 6 inputs to your interface and it’s nice to have 8 so you can always add something extra if needed. I recommend the Behringer UMC1820, it’s really good and quite affordable. It also support ADAT so you can expand it in the future if you need to.
Edit: oh I see the blue box has the inputs you need, how many tracks does it output over usb when you connect the iPad?

@@DaveS-Ace thank you dude! Ive got another peak jam here also:
Late night jam session - Novation Peak and Torso T-1 sequencer

It’s a great synth and I doubt I’ll ever part with it due to how much ground it covers. I was on the fence about it but then I tried one…instant buy.
