Hello F&S, first off all, great video and job upgrading the a3 sound, but if I may I would like to ask you some questions, first, why didn’t you go 3 way on the front doors, from what I’ve seen on my AUDI and your also, under the mesh cover just above the handle, there is a place for a mid range speaker, it doesn’t worth the hassle?
Second Q, I’m assuming you use the MMI unit as a player, how did you bypass the bass roll down when you crank up the volume? This question starts from the idea that u used the speaker level outputs for the amplifiers!
And third Q, the factory speakers, how are they mounted on the doors, with threaded bolts or pop rivet’s?

Daniel Mihai hi , thanks for watching my videos, the grille of the midrange near the door Handel is blocked (no holes), for this setup I used Dsp used hi inputs from the mmi, and then installed rear fill passive, front + center active, sound quality is amazing , here is the full install, thanks

one more question please, do you know anything about Morel Elate 902 compared to the Elate 602? i'm thinking about having them. and i'm wondering why here the 602's are around 240$ more expensive then the 902.

i'm more interested in a 9 inch than a 7 inch speaker, and the 903 cost too much for me, they are twice as expensive the 902, appreciate your help
Saed Abumokh hi, the truth they are expensive for nothing, the ml1800.3 is 8’ and fits most German cars or you can make a template to fit, it’s cheaper and performance are better, thanks

I mean you could fiberglass the A pillers and make your own pods. That would take forever though (think at least 2-3 full days) and is difficult to do.
