Ikr😀 pretty insane project just to get a view from the top , definitely worth at least checking out as timelapsing in 7min isn’t great but not impossible 😉
Thanks for this amazing video! The lift must be a unique experience in its own right and, oh my god, the views are literally breathtaking! And you had the best company up there! Who else gets to hang out with 🎅 ??
This is great!!Good to know how this lets call attraction work to be prepared to shoot in there quickly. Thanks for the advice!Keep it up the good work 😀
Thanks a lot, yeah the 7min is short but funny enough I did some basic math, comparing it to the pods at London eye and I’ve got no idea how much money it’s going to cost Battersea Power Station to run but i can’t see it being profitable🤣so for that reason and the price for the 7min, I don’t think it’s actually that bad
Hi Michel found you last night so love Photography love London Sky Line even more so at night just noticed you not done any Vlogs for a while hope your ok your kids in background make me laugh but nice seeing them spending time with you & Even more so walking hope you Vlog soon I've liked your Instagram too by the way all best David
Hi David, thanks a lot for your kind words, yes been busy lately, I post “somewhat” regularly on ig but indeed TH-cam with the amount of time editing takes has been put a little bit on the backburner, but I’ve got a few videos I’m near finishing that I’ll upload when work eases a bit and it usually does around Jan-Feb 😀
Just glad your around I'll look forward to them I envy you being able to walk around London & them views are to dye for thanks for messaging me my best David
Interesting to hear your take on it Michael and I know from personal experience from being at Battersea a few months ago before it was open, as I had my EOS R with me (no tripod) that "professional equipment" was not allowed unless you had a permit as security approached me to say I couldn't use my camera. Was back in London few weeks ago just after it was opened and the placed was mobbed and I seen several people with DSLRs but were not getting approached by security. I grabbed some images of the Frank Gehry building and left without being approached
Yeah I hear you, got stopped by security when timelapsing a few months back, and I know that inside the BPS they enforce the pro camera body at all times, while at the Lift109 I was told that pro bodies will be ok, just no tripods and not sure yet on lenskirts as security never seen one before I showed them and asked
Glad you went so I could watch how it was. I was invited to a pre-launch (maybe your same day) but couldn't go because I was in Florence. But as "general public", I will likely skip this anyway: weather unpredictability, no "pro gear", very short time to look around... It's just not what I fancy. That's why we have TH-cam :D
Yeah hence I mention that for what we do, 7min if we were general public would feel short, cool but short🤷🏼♂️while for most it’d be enough, but as a one off experience, I’d still recommend you give it a go, it’s fun😀
@@fabienb yep I asked the same a week ago when I was on my last visit and they same exactly that, they don’t know if they’ll be another annual pass, but as you say, they did say that in the past and yet did them at Black Friday
I really like what they've done with Battersea PS. I suspect it would have been very different had hands not been forced by its listed status. What is it about lenscoats that venues don't like?
Yeah I like the new shopping centre and generally the area too, but glad the listed status forced them to keep the look. I’ve got no idea what day Shard doesn’t like lenskirts, it’s temporary, doesn’t leave marks, doesn’t really block other peoples view, no idea🤷🏼♂️
All i can wish you for xmas is good weather then😀 that’s the only thing will far into the future bookings, you don’t know what you’re going to get🤷🏼♂️
Yeah I agree, but it is what it is, I wish they could introduce annual passes or maybe like the Emirates cable car, a cheaper pass for say 10 rides, but honestly think of it as one London eye pod, and if London eye only had like say 3 pods🤣they are not making any profits on that and most likely loosing money so it’s purely for promo of BPS so on that basis I think it’s cool that they proceeded with making it happen anyway
It is, best £28 in London for a view in my opinion is the annual pass for St Paul’s , but when you treat the lift as a one of experience it’s still worth it I guess
Wow! What a cool space they have created! Definitely will check it out next time I am in town! 😊
Ikr😀 pretty insane project just to get a view from the top , definitely worth at least checking out as timelapsing in 7min isn’t great but not impossible 😉

Excellent! 👏 I can't wait to pay a visit, thanks for sharing Michael.
Thanks Frank, glad you like it😀
some great shots there that camera has a great zoom
Thanks, great camera I wield indeed
Wow didn't know this existed will definitely go check this out. As always legendary video
There you go, finally a London video😉 yeah it’s brand new, opened officially today, hence the quick vlog from last night
Thanks for this amazing video! The lift must be a unique experience in its own right and, oh my god, the views are literally breathtaking! And you had the best company up there! Who else gets to hang out with 🎅 ??
Thanks yes it’s cool experience for views and indeed it’s always best enjoyed in company and who else better then visit a chimney with than Santa 😀

You’re most welcome, glad to hear this video was useful for other to prepare when coming to get some photo/video content there😀
@@LondonViewpoints That't the idea!!!Look forward for your next videos!!Good stuff!!😀
Awesome views thanks for sharing Michael. Booked and ready to go.. pity it's only 7 min at the top 😔

It looks amazing, can’t wait to go.
It’s certainly is, definitely worth going 👍🏻

What a great reuse of the building :O
Ikr😀 but the fact this crazy idea of a chimney to be converted to a loft with a viewing platform actually came to be is absolutely bonkers🤩
Excellent work. Well done thankyou for all the info!
Thanks and you’re most welcome 👍🏻
Cool video. I hope their shop sells Xmas ornaments of BPS and of its chimney for LIFT 109!
Thanks, yes I didn’t cover their souvenirs shop but there was loads of cool items

Another thing for my bucket list .. 🦘
Definitely worth adding to a London bucket list 😀
What on earth is a "bucket list"?
brilliant...how they came out with the idea...I thought the chimney had nothing. nice place for film shooting as well.
Thanks yeah it’s definitely a cool place to visit and take some snaps from
Quality vlog
7 mins is fine
Kind of like the tower at brighton
ANNUAL pass would be great
I hope its well maintained
Thanks, yes agree, and most likely it’ll be well maintained as it’s Battersea Power Statiok
Very nice, I enjoyed with you! Thank you for this video! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Awesome dude, looking forward to visiting myself! 👌🏼😍
See, there’s all these cool things to do in London so no need to fly far away to exotic cold islands 😜

@@LondonViewpoints btw, just got confirmation that the Shard annual pass has been discontinued.
Though they said the same in the past...
@@fabienb yep I asked the same a week ago when I was on my last visit and they same exactly that, they don’t know if they’ll be another annual pass, but as you say, they did say that in the past and yet did them at Black Friday
This would defo freak me out i dont like heights or lifts or glass floors so this is just a nightmare but i need to go up there looks so good
It’s not scary at all, you’ll be fine
@@LondonViewpoints im scared of heights and sketchy lifts 🤣
Once again, another amazing video. Subscribed!!!
Glad you enjoyed it so much, thank you 😀

Haha you know he’s been waiting for the cookies and milk for 11 months now😜
🤣🤣🤣
New years eve fireworks would be sick to watch from there
Yeah, if one was to time it right or book a private experience for 30min
@@LondonViewpoints i bet its already booked
Nicely done.
Thanks Neil 😉
Imagine they have drone show over there. It would be epic.
Yeah it would be cool for surr

The most beautiful repurpose of a coal powerplant ever! Only in the UK, This can never be outdone.
I agree, never thought this would come true and yet it did
@LondonViewpoints is it possible to see new year's eve fireworks from top of shooters Hill?
Thank you !
You’re welcome
Cool view, but 7mins is not long enough. You will probably send more time in the queue for it than the actual experience
What does father Xmas do on his night off ..goes up and down a chimney obviously.😂
Obviously 😀

21£ for 7mins is too expensive!
It is, best £28 in London for a view in my opinion is the annual pass for St Paul’s , but when you treat the lift as a one of experience it’s still worth it I guess
21 pound for 7 min?
Yeah not the best return visit value, but for a one off it’s nice and truly impressive imho
Don't think I've heard someone moan so much!
Your bedroom struggles are none of my business 🤣
Sign says 24 quid booking in the day and £75 for a family. 75 quid to go in a lift. Charlie Bucket is rolling in his grave
Prices could’ve changed since I was there in opening press day 🤷🏼♂️but then no London experience is cheap
