Hi Hannah! I love Fridays. It's when I get to pretend I'm on vacation and I'm being shown around London by a friend. The noise, the people, the construction, the cars, while annoying for you, gives us a real look at areas we may visit someday. I do think the Tourist Board (or whatever it's called in England) should be paying you! You are providing an excellent marketing tool for them. Have you ever looked at your TH-cam analytics and tracked from which countries people are watching you? Also, I can't believe there is anyone watching that isn't enjoying your content. Hannah, all the layers of paint on Berry Bros & Rudd Wine Merchants is to disguise the bomb damage from World War II - all the dents in the shop frontage etc. The shop is living history, plus it has huge cellars of wine below where you were walking 🙂

Love central London and the less tourist streets... down the side streets. I only know that our late Queen used to get her handbags for many years and carried Launer London, they adapted the bag with extra pockets - now, thanks to Paddington Bear we all know what she carried in it.

Hannah, i was having an absolute shit-show of a day, even walked off my job today ( 1st time in 13 years) until I saw your video. No only did you manage to make me smile but you made me feel as if this video was for me. I've asked about men's clothes and cigars 😂 (sorry about the asthma) but then you stop at a place called Frank's (name sake 😂) and if that wasn't enough you pass by one of my favorite if not the world's best bespoke shoe maker in Lobbs. I was sooo excited to see Deacon and Francis in the Piccadilly Arcade in your video. I was traveling in London with my husband years ago and we spent 30 minutes looking at the fabulous bespoke cuff links they make there. It was such a quintessential London spot. Fancy and fun at the same time! Thanks for the wander by! ❤
Great video. This video was not too long for me, but I love long videos when I'm doing the dishes or folding laundry. Those awesome little alley cubbies of shopping centers are so cool I really want to go back and just spend a whole day walking around.
Is it worth the money? Bespoke shoes for everyone I say. Comfort before fashion for some things!!

There are some shoes that are truly worth a higher price because they do feel and fit like fuzzy slippers. My husband bought a German made shoe once every five years. Love the tour and the tour guide 😊❤
Absolutely shoes you get what you pay for. I splashed out on a pair of Bally boots 20 years ago and they’re still going strong! I just take them to the cobbler occasionally and they’re good as new.

I must say you always show wherever you go in London in a very good light, of which I very much approve.
A number of bloggers seem to film the busiest areas at the busiest times of the day or week, when place don’t look their best. They do this in the mistaken belief that the busier and more popular a place is, the better it must be. London can be what you want it to be, if you know where to look.
Depending on how, where and what time of day/week you film - makes a big difference to the impression potential visitors get of London.

Loved this tour! Great to see places off the usual tourist areas and wandering down little cul-de-sacs. Also love the way you show tops of the buildings. So many people walk along a road and fail to look up, and only see the shop windows and then miss all the lovely architectural details above them.

My favorite area of London. St James gave me so much enthusiasm for London and hope for visiting multiple times over the coming years. Love it so much! From haircuts at Truefitt & Hill to shoes at Crocket and Jones. Cigars at Davidoff to tea at Fortnum & Mason. Love it!

The crafts and custom shops are more like tailors and fixers of high-end clothes, shoes, etc. There's also a generational thing in getting old-style authentic things and matching things for the older decor. The strong positive is that the quality standards are much higher, and the people that make them are actual experts.
One of best video’s for me as a guy. You should have gone inside Davidoff and said hello to the Sahakian's. Some of most consummate gentleman you will meet and I’m sure they would have welcomed you in the shop. It’s on my list of places next time I am in London, and I’m not even a smoker. You mentioned the cost of some of those luxury items. Yes some are insanely expensive and in some cases out of the reach of many, but in many cases fine well made bespoke clothes can last a lifetime if cared for and maintained. For instance, a classic styled bespoke suits can be, and sometimes are, passed down. It’s not unusual for a Savile Row tailor to alter a suit they made for the original owner’s son to now wear. Sure some items are expensive because of a name but some reflect the quality and craftsmanship of handmade or well made things.
Thank you, Hannah, for showing us more of lovely London. Like you, I love the old architecture. Some of the modern buildings are hideous. Here in Oz, your videos reach us on Saturday mornings so the first thing I do when I get up is get my virtual London tour.

Your tour of all the swanky shops was wonderful Hannah but you do prattle on a bit if I have one complaint switching from one subject to another at lightning speed which have nothing to do with each other. Tone it down and slow it down is the only recommendation I’d make. You’re doing great and don’t worry about the double decker buses, they’re all part of England which we love seeing here in Florida 💕👏💕👏💕 (As for the expensive shoes… take care of them, and they’ll last forever. ie: always keep them soled, 😊heeled and polished)

Luckily my school days in London taught me so much but as I’m going back a long way a few things have been forgotten !! Time to do some “catch-up” on our next trip over !! They won’t swap out the ERII bollards for CRIII ones, unless one is beyond repair…similar to post boxes, they keep the sovereign ‘s cypher from the time they were made and placed, unless they need to be swapped out due to irreversible damage / pss.
