So the only option here I couldn't try was disabling the sim card, I looked everywhere and I do not have an option for that.

I dont have that option either.
It's probably only available in the international version of the A15 which supports 2 sims. In the US/Canadian version it only supports one sim, so they don't offer an option to turn it off since there is no alternative.
