Yup! I make sure my hairdresser sprays the hell out of my hair with the WOW before blowdrying. Cuz I'm one of them folks that gets crazy humidity in the scalp, especially.
It's actually best NOT to wrap your hair at night. You're supposed to pin Curl it. Wrapping removes volume and causes tension on the scalp. I have been doing the simple pin curl every night wrapped down and satin bonnet, and my hair curls into the waves I like, and it has body.
This is how I maintain my silk press also. I use the net and put a bonet over it. This allows my hair to still have body and not look flat and weighed down as with the regular wrap method. I’m on week 6.lol
Yes, I get breakage in my crown area. I typically have my hair split down the middle and in two braids, and noticed a lot of breakage in that parted section. Idk what to do about it 😩
This is EXACTLY THE VIDEO I WAS LOOKING FOR. you hit the nail on the head when you stated to not put oil on your scalp. I don’t know how to maintain a healthy scalp during a silk press & thought I needed to use oil. 0_0. MISTAKE! Question. Do you do a silk press every two weeks then?
I've tried using that doobie wrap, and it does work perfectly, but that thing gives me a major headache around my edges. I've tried stretching it out hoping that it will help but it hasn't, and the deep dents that it leaves on my forehead... Ughh😩
When my hair gets this length, none of y'all gon be able to tell me NOTHINGGGG 💅🏽😆
Imma be so boogie when I reach this lenght 😂😂
@@Rootsnradiance Seeeee you understand 😆
🤣😂🤣 I say this all the time!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I said this lol and now I barely wear it out cause it’s so much maintenance 😂
Yesss girl my hair is the same length as yours I been growing me hair out since I was a little girl 🥰🫶🏽

Oh wow! I wish I could go that long lol. I usually get tired of it & want to switch up my look too soon lol
What product do you use and what order do you use to maintain your hair straight? Mines keep puffing up
@@mariewalker437 I use Sleek it Iron Straight Heat spray and Chi Silk Infusion.
@@TheOKaeKaela I don’t straighten often, so when I do it try to keep it as long as possible😄
The doobie net tip is a game changer! It’s easy and fast. I’m definitely gonna do that from now on.
Hey babies,, do any of you notice if using the cap you get breakage? I’m curious if the material can cause harm or if it’s safe …

Can I like this 10x?! I hate wrapping my hair and this was Super helpful. Getting that doobie wrap!
I can definitely vouch for the cream of nature argan oil. I tried it for the first time last week and had a bomb silk press. Thank you for this video

I absolutely love your wrap technique boo
Omg YES i love the cream of nature spray. ❤
Gorgeous!
Thank you!🥰❤️
Is the doobie wrap tight around your head?
No, there are different sizes. I would make sure to stretch it out more if its too tight but not too much so that it still holds the hair in place.❤️
Fabulous😍
Need that net wrap❤
