The game 2 c4 placement was OD. Didn't see it coming at all. Had to replay twice to make sure he didn't stick it on Peanut himself. It was on the stage, it was the perfect placement.
These two really had fun in this set. Gotta love Peanut's schmovement. Gotta love Dark's explosion setups. It's like an anime battle, like a crossover between Hajime no Ippo and Black Lagoon.
Probably to be less vulnerable in case he fails. If you fail the first hit of Down Smash, it gives more time to the opponent to punish you since you'll have to wait more time for the animation to end.
@@idain8325 Nah, back hit of up tilt has true combos into ftilt and side b. But the first hit can only combo into the former at super specific percent's
Commentators tend to think KO punch is a lot better than it actually is. Like if they are at kill percent for f-smash it’s not even worth going for most of the time. f-smash has ten years less whiff recovery, much more horizontal range, still beats any other move with the armor, and still does crazy shield damage even if it doesn’t go through shield (especially if a down angled one will kill). Plus, if you have KO punch they are going to be scared to try to shield your attacks anyway. If your opponent is at 30 KO punch is very worthwhile to go for, although you still risk dying at 30 yourself if you miss, and sometimes that isn’t worth it if you have a big lead anyway, especially since they will be hardcore camping to try to avoid it.
0:32 "now he's doing stuff with a purpose"... blows himself up with 2 grenades placed at his feet. Great timing
Announcers made this set even more fun.. love the call out in game 5 ""Reading Rainbow"
i've never heard of dark before but damn he's real expressive in the player cam, lol. fun to watch. good gameplay as well.

That game 3 c4 on the ground was so dirty lol. I love snake setups
When snake is played like this it makes me hurl
0:53 why does peanut turn this around so much? Does the reverse hitbox hit lower, or is it more active?
