I just can't resist opening Aria First Edition lol. Two times I wanted to keep a save a case sealed but ended up opening it. One case had a Spellbound Creepers, Rampart, CF Pulse of Isenloft and Shock Charmers, and the other case had a Shock Charmers and a Voltaire CF and Duskblade. Aria treats me too well T_T

Bought a 1st edition of Tales in Feb for 79 Eur. I had those suede boots as cold foil and also shit cards. i sleeved them up in hard sleeves and put them away for 20 years
i dont think it's the investors, i think it's the distributors. just tried to order for the new uprising and historic set's for my store setup and no distributor is accepting new clients nor are they sending out products to there longer term clients. i have literal email proof from them stating it

Both US distributors are not accepting new clients. Not mention it states in my emails that they are having trouble sending orders to their own clients

the Legendarys from this set are so solid. the elemental staples are going to find their way into every elemental hero released in future sets.
if the game ages well, ELE is going to age especially well.

I love the art on the Legendaries in this set.
Outside of maybe Crucible, I've personally like all of the product thus far - even Everfest, which is basically toilet paper in price. I am curious if LSS is nimble enough to have adjusted print runs for Uprising, or if Uprising will be a massive print run.
I like this set , I feel it under appreciated

I had only opened 1st edition for Tales but last night I opened a box of Unlimited and pulled the rainbow Shock Charmers. I will miss how underappreciated Unlimited was/is.

I'm lower case timmey so, don't take this out of context, but would it make sense LS do work with distributors and LGS's to sponsor sealed tournaments in these sets to drive interest to help reduce sealed product?

How so? Real question. I think they are properly valued based on supply/demand.

@@moxpanda I think they might be undervalued based upon potential future growth, but I think they are appropriately priced today. It is a beautiful product and I have my complete master/play set along with my 1 case I will keep sealed. However, getting some more doesn’t sound like a terrible idea tbh.

Both the cold foils from the first box equal about $10.0 right now. With the rest of the box’s contents you are probably looking at a $30.0 EV or so. ToA is a fun set but because of how top heavy the single prices are for the Legendary cards it makes opening a single box to risky. I also don’t think it’s reasonable to expect someone to buy an entire case to get that one card that recoups some value. They need to fix that.
Yes it’s just predictable, and that’s the hole problem on flesh and blood.

@@mtgurza8246 , I agree with you. I don’t see the harm I’m having at least one non-foil legendary per box. That way the customer doesn’t get hosed as bad if they don’t pull that chase cold foil.
I opened 5 cases and have 2 in reserve of TOA.

Still buying Everfest... Literally so cheap I already have more cases than I do of every other set and I was heavy on cru at 300-400. And heavy on monarch 200-300. Diamond fucking hands as all the Timmies pull their hair out.

Singles market isn't dead, it's just not free tendies level anymore. Same reason the boxes aren't +500% at release. But good businesses with good practices easily can sell FaB singles from cracking boxes

the people that dont play fab talking about collecting.. ew.. tales fucking ruined the game for the first 2 months after it came out. its cheap because no one wants it and LSS learned their mistake and didnt release any new cards for the heroes in tales with everfest. and i say good,
Fab is cool, MTG lost its course the last few years it's just like pokemon. Pump and dump. Yugioh the mechanics are getting out of control. DBS has insane art on the cards but I don't like the game personally
