    Met Wenger twice and he was so accomodating & happy to see me and my little brother. The man is just class epitomised. Even when goded by Moutinho he never fired back,,, and since 'specialist in failure' mourinho had failed at multiple clubs... Fans that used to hate him started loving him... before he disgraces himself every time.

  • @roy4975

    Dennis Bergkamp. Thierry Henry. Arsene Wenger. Ian Wright. Legends of Arsenal FC. They are the club that they are because of players like this and a manager like Wenger. His trophy haul is not as glittering as Guardiola or Ferguson, but he will be remembered more for his contribution to football and how the game is played and has developed, long after the memory of them is gone. Thank you Arsene Wenger.

  • @emirates111
    @emirates111 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    People will never realise how class wenger is... Jeremy alialidare.. sadly with him things didnt work our but years after leaving he said wenger was always checking in on him and always made him welcome to come back to the club to train, coach .. and now hes in a media role.

  • @lDashiee
    @lDashiee 6 ปีที่แล้ว +73

    People saying "Why wasn't Henry at the Burnley game?" Why aren't you asking the same question to Vieira? Your answer is probably because Vieira works for NYC so that's why he couldn't come. The same is with Henry, he works for Sky and he was probably told to cover the City game, which is why he couldn't come. Henry respects Wenger so I'm pretty sure he would've wanted to be there.

    • @lullabysanton2241
      @lullabysanton2241 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      lDashiee veira is in different continent and is a manager ! Very different from being a pundit.. a pundit can be substituted easily but not manager.
      Also ozil can take sick leaves as he wishes.. why not Henry for a day? After all Arsene did to henry, the least he could have done was come n attend the last match !!!

    • @lDashiee
      @lDashiee 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Look at what Ozil's agent said regarding the Ozil "sickness". It's not a sickness, it's an injury he's been carrying throughout the season. You can find the statement on twitter. Maybe the Sky bosses wanted Henry to cover the City game, we don't know what the reasoning is. If your boss tells you to do your job, you do your job.

    I don't know why people say Henry is a bottler. Yes he problem plays worse against top defenders. That is why they are top defenders, but how about all the goals he scored against top teams like Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Real Madrid etc? Not just simple tap-ins but game changing goals. Highlights including overhead kicks, last minute headers and a cheeky freekick and dribbling from halfway line. Only a confident player will even try to do stuff like this?
