Elsa also has a connection to Norse Mythology too by the way. I believe she's a reincarnation of Skadi, the Norse Goddess of Winter. It is from this deity, that the entire region of Scandinavia where Frozen is set got her name. If Elsa really became this Snow Goddess, she would've been welcomed by the Gods and Goddesses of Asgard for a feast.
I believe the reason that Attahallen felt like home to Elsa was because that is her true home the place where she rightfully and truly belonged while Anna’s true place was Arendelle since they both represent two sides
Elsa takes after her mother because she like the spirits are connected to the enchanted Forrest where her mother is from
Anna however takes after their father not because she does not posses magic but because even in both movies she felt at home in Arendelle and always put the needs of Arendelle before anything else
I still wish Elsa showed more of a connection to the Northuldra, since those are people she'll live with. She doesn't seem really connected to the spirits, except in the way her magic explains it. (I wanted her to act on it more, like how her and lizard became nice friends and the Nokk? Water horse respected her and was tamed. )

Had the spirit of Raava been introduced as being a legendary spirit from many years past, it might have worked, but then they’d have to have had Nick’s approval.
Perhaps the four elemental and Elsa being the bridge thing is why Nick took part in advertising for the movie, because Disney knew they could get into a bit of trouble with NICK and Viacom for something sounding so similar, so they had a sort of partnership agreement in this

I absolutely LOVED Frozen II!!! Yesterday I was feeling sad and lonely, so I went to the movies and watched Frozen II, and it was wonderful. Much better than Frozen I in every way: animation, music, humour, story, drama, etc.
Also very emotional, I teared up during "show yourself" since I recently lost my mother and that part really got me...

I think she is connected to all the other elemental spirits. Ice is the frozen version of water. I'm her song "Let It Go", she talks about icy winds. This tells me that the air around her skin is likely cold. Water, or in Elsa's case ice, can bring fire under control or calm it completely. Since she creates ice and snow, that will always fall to the earth. She does not need to control each element because she is already connected to them.

I think Elsa is indeed connected to Altohallan. Clearly her powers come from there. But if her powers and Altohallan's magic is the same, why did she freeze to death there? It's something that I don't understand.
It's in the lullaby song. "Don't go too far or you'll be drowned" She went too far deep into the glacier and so drowned in it.

You could also say that because she was drowning in her despair about the past, she didn’t have control over her powers, such like how she didn’t have a lot of control when she felt afraid in the first movie. (Just a theory, though.)
She thawed immediately after the dam burst, so I'm guessing it was the spirits being out of whack - once the imbalance goes away, so does the superfreeze.
Elsa's powers are connected to directly to her emotions as we've seen. The deeper she went, the colder the darkest secrets became.

One thing i think people are not understandning. Why ice as her power , thats ok,not my point,,but the power of the 5th element is LIFE( like in most fiction media) She not only gave life to olaf,but to other snow creatures (many in fact). And the fact that all her snow creatures are shown in the post credit scene,i think why not only cannon wise they showed they are alive, it might hint the exploration of this life etc...
One of the things I noticed when watching Frozen 2 is that it included the elements of Fire, Water, Air And Earth. It reminded me of Moana, where Maui is the demigod of the wind and sea, and Te Ka/Te Feti are the God’s of Fire and Earth. Could these same spirits in Frozen 2 be in Moana? The water is sentient, like the elements in Frozen 2. The fifth element, ice, is just to cold for the Polynesian islands to have, and is restricted to people in the north
Then I remembered that one of the main phenomenons in Frozen was the Aurora Borealis. I believe this is where the spirits reside. This gives Frozen 2 a connection to Brother Bear, where the native people harness the spirits from the Aurora Borealis

I'm pretty sure Ahtahollen is the source of the 5th spirit since it holds all of the memories. Therefore it was the spirit to gift elsa her powers and since it is just a "river of ice" that's why it gave her ice powers. It personified itself.

Plus it was never explained to them.
The first film was meant to be a stand alone one, so now there are small inconsistencies, but nothing too bad.
Maybe because the Northaldra(?) people never had powers? They just got along with the elements. Queen Iduna had probably never heard of an actual person manifesting powers, much less one that’s not directly connected to the 4 elements.

I don't think so. If we're using the original term, to be a demigod, you must be a child of a mortal and a god. In Maui's case, he was born mortal but he was taken under the care of the Gods, and even has immortality. That means he is somewhat of an adopted demigod. Elsa however, is not a child of a mortal or a god, therefore not a demigod. A more accurate term for her is sorcerer, someone who is born with powerful magic. (Mages are someone who studies elemental magic to fight, a wizard studies magic but are spellcasters, and sorcerer is just what I said, she can use magic even before studying how it works.)
Disney clearly has forgotten that Ice is in fact Water lmao. For all that, they should've just made her the water spirit. Literally the entire movie would make more sense; It would explain her water memory ability, & they could've made the horse just be her subconscious or a familiar. Also water is often associated with emotion so they could've explained her ice as not being taped into those emotions because of her traumatic past.
So sense Elsa can send let alone unlock memories of the past, couldn’t she now show Anna what she no longer remembers?! Due to Grandpapi whipping her memories before the accident, and unable to bring em back?

She's more like a spirit guardian of the enchanted forest so that magic can be balance but that also works for anna as well for being the second guardian to keep the other side balanced and is why she is queen of Arundel to the people and elsa being the Guardian to the forest and the spirits i hope that makes sense
They are both sides of the bridge. Each a half of the fifth spirit - one more connected to spirits, the other one more to humanity. That's why Elsa was never able to save Arendelle alone - she needed Anna - the second half - to take down the dam.

You're lucky. I just got home from seeing the movie. How come it's not hard for you to actually have a real discussion and talk like this but finding anyone else to actually have a conversation in depth about something is impossible? I never can find anyone to talk to like the way you talk and would love it if someone did that with me and what I write or read. keep making amazing videos.
I LOVE Elsa and her character! She is so complex and human and I can relate to her even though I don’t have the same experiences. I hope Disney creates more characters like Elsa and Anna because they are a great step forward in terms of story telling. They are everything and nothing at the same time and I think their character arch’s are beautiful and natural. They are beautiful characters and great role models for EVERYONE!
So if Elsa was given the powers of Atahollen, why did her mother call out to her? During “Show yourself” Iduna was clearly shown calling out and singing to and with Elsa. Was Iduna the 5th spirit?

Ahtohallan is basically using her late mom's voice to lure her, so it isn't her mom, it's the memories of her mom that summons Elsa to Ahtohallan in the first place. Also, Elsa isn't just looking for the source of the voice, she's clearly looking for herself, eventually finding her true purpose as the Fifth Spirit, the Goddess of Winter

I remember that it was stated that the voice was from within Elsa herself in the storybook, which is why no one was hearing it. It was a call to where she needs to be and what she needs to do, since it was the same melody of Iduna's singing when she was calling for help from the wind spirit.
Elsa is the connector of all of the elements now. She can bring them together to do who knows what. We have barely scratched the surface of her evolution (Hello Frozen 3!) She can now guide the other elements to do what she wants. If she needs fire, she can call upon Bruni to provide it. Same with the Nokk, Gale, and the Earth Giants.
She is now a formidable power with all of the elements at her command.

If they make a continuation I'm hoping they'll show the concept of people having powers through curses and such since they show the concept of getting powers through blessings or being the "chosen one" . I'm sure there's more magic around the world of frozen and more mysteries yet to be discovered.

Elsa was a part of Atahallen (however that's spelled) and Atahallen called to her in the voice of her mother. What I really want to know is...why did she groan and roll her eyes when seeing herself singing Let it Go? Meta joke, okay...but she was happy and free when she sang that.
The Disney wiki (it's a Fandom wiki, so take it for what it's worth) spells it "Ahtohallan." I think that's also how it was spelled when the name was printed on the map the sisters looked at.
I wish to find the origins of that name; hope the Blueray extras shed some light on that. I’m a bit of a Norse mythos buff.
I've seen lots of people asking why she cringes when she sees ”Let it go;” the answer’s in the reprise of ”For the first time in forever:” she sings ”Oh, I'm such a fool, I can't be free.”
Maybe instead of being an avatar type of balance, the gift of the fifth spirit is that she is able to subdue all other spirits to keep them all in ‘balance’

I think you're spot on. That's just what I thought after I saw that scene when she saw all of the memories. It was A REALLY AWESOME SCENE! (Aside from her evil grandfather who killed an innocent man in cold blood); aside from that; it was an AWESOME SCENE, that I will gladly watch again, for its beautiful artistry. She was born with ice powers at first when became queen when the adventure began there are elements of seasons here at the forest from the story as the spirits appeared who ever they are what the calling comes to the mystery of the past.

I wonder if Elsa's powers are Ice because Ice can literally Transform all 4 of the Elements; ice can get cold enough to "freeze" Air (or @ least the water molecules in the air, whatever), ice also turns Water from liquid to solid, turns Fire into steam, & lastly, water forzen into ice expands inside rock with enough force to break it.

I'm glad Elsa still only has her ice powers and can't control any of the other elements because she's the reason I began to love Winter and that would really piss me off if she ended up being something like the Avatar, but I'm glad that ended up not being the case.

Technically speaking, Elsa isn't the only one without a prince. There is Mulan and Merida, and Elsa is a Queen.

I would like to know why Elsa froze while watching the memories
In the lyrics of "All is Found," Iduna sings the line "don't go too far or you'll be drowned." Elsa dove too deep into the memories, and when she realized the truth, it seemed that her sorrow once again overwhelmed her to the point where she couldn't control her powers as well. That in combination with the dam still being up (and thus the elements still out of whack) trapped her there.
To connect and bring balance to the spirits and humans? Using four elements and a “5th” element? Yeah, definetly had some Avatar influences there.

Elsa's magic was not exclusively ice related. Not all of Olaf's body was made of snow and the nearest tree was miles away when she made him, so she would have had to create the sticks for his arms and coal for his eyes and buttons on the spot. She also transformed her dress right down to the color and texture of the fabric, something she would repeat in Frozen Fever.
My explanation is that she first started using her magic after her parents took her out to play after a snow storm and she liked it so much that making snow was the first thing she did with her magic. After that, she came to associate her magic and herself with winter. Now that's she back among her mother's people Elsa will probably start using her magic to other affects.

okay so i have a couple of theories;
1. Since Anna is a red head, has freckles and Elsa has freckles and their sisters.. does that mean if Elsa never had ice powers would she also be a red head?
2. Spirits have been around since forever, and Elsa is also a spirit.. but she's in the body of a human. Stay with me, now would that mean that she's immortal like the other spirits or is like an 'Avatar the Last Airbender' kind of situation where her spirit passes to another body?

Did you guys know that the characters of frozen are HANS KRISTOFF ANNA SVEN because the writer of the snow queen’s name is HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN
I think Elsa's ice power very much derives from Ahtohallan itself. If Ahtohallan took on any other form, if it was made of sand dunes for example, Elsa would be able to manipulate sand. It just so happens that Ahtohallan is a river of ice that Elsa's power reflects that of ice/snow. Looking forward to your next Frozen 2 videos, and I will keep your travel service in mind when/if I decide to go to Disney :-).

So because ice has the properties of all the 4 elemental spirits , Elsa , the fifth spirit, has been gifted with the power of ice .
Now comes my second theory :
Remember how in the song ‘show yourself ‘ Elsa sings about how she feels like she is home ? Well she feels that way because attohallan is a glacier . And glaciers are frozen rivers . I think that the enchanted forest is somehow connected to attohallan . I feel that all the 4 spirits and attohallan , are one in the same . And when Gale saw Iduna save Agnarr , she decided to give Iduna’s first born (Elsa) the power to control ice. I think Attohallan housed the fifth spirit and the spirit needed to take a physical form . So the spirits and Attohallan , chose Elsa to become the embodiment of the fifth spirit. And attohallan is ice so , Elsa was given the gift of the ability to control ice . And Elsa froze in attohallan because the fifth spirit needed to enter into her body . And the fifth spirit couldn’t enter into Elsa because the dam wasn’t broken yet . And as soon as the dam broke , the fifth spirit entered into Elsa and she unfroze .
So this is just my theory , it may not even be anywhere near that but , it’s fun to theorise . Tell me what your theories are .

To put it broadly water represents emotions held in memory and what Elsa is doing is revealing traumatic memories with her ice sculptures.
I feel that Elsa power was the control of energy. If energy is removed or pulled out of a thing it gets cold or frozen. If energy is put into a thing it gets hotter or burns. If energy flows through a thing it can do both and make a wind from that movement. If energy flows into something it can cause it to expand, flows out and it contracts. This would make it shift as the ground can shift in quakes. So Elsa controls energy thus can influence the other elements, because they are really all one.

Anna explains it in one sentence. Elsa is a gift. Iduna saved her enemy. Her good deed was rewarded with Elsa.

Once you look at the 4 elements on a wheel, you can see in the middle there is life, and since humans are in a different plane than the spirits (and their dominions of the 4 elements) there has to be a distinct separation between the two, so the only thing left is what lies between them, to act as a bridge between the human world and the spirit world. Between water and air is frost, between water and earth is clay, between air and fire is lightning, and between fire and earth is magma. I think Elsa could have been gifted any one of those "in between" elements, but frost just happened to be the bridge she used to advance her narrative. There may be others like Elsa who possess gifted powers of lightning, magma and clay, but we'll see if Disney ever plays on that.

King Runeard was King Agnarr’s father and according to a SCB theory, Rapunzel is cousins with Anna and Elsa coz King Agnarr and Queen Arianna are siblings, so King Runeard would be Rapunzel’s maternal grandfather. Unfortunately we would have to rule out the parents going 2 Rapunzel’s wedding coz part of Frozen 2 debunks it (no spoilers), however, there’s no debunking Rapunzel at Elda’s coronation.
It doesn't totally debunk the theory of the parents going to Rapunzel's wedding though. I have a headcanon that they used the excuse of going to their wedding (spoilers!) so that they could go to Ahtohallan.

My original theory as to why the fifth element is ice was that we see Elsa defeat/tame three of the four spirits, (earth would likely have been tamed aswell had they shown it) with the added ability to see the past. But with Elsa being a gift and a having the powers of ahtohallan makes a whole lot of sense. It even strengthens my first theory.
With literally half the movie showing clues about exactly that idk if it’s a theory or just a decoding of clues. If so, then the clues are in your face but barely talked about so it gets missed.
Kinda how we see Elsa’s powers being fine until she hits Anna and becomes scared she seriously hurt her and the room freezes before Grand pabbie explains it in the first movie

I think a part of the reason she has ice magic as the 5th spirit is b'coz ice is not like the other 4 main elements and with ice magic she can create life (Olaf). Also "The ice side can lead to many abilities that some consider to be unnatural."
