I believe, according to the Bonanza timeline, Adam was 7, maybe 8 when Ben stated building the Ponderosa. The only legitimate "excuse" not to have his name on the tree would be that the Ponderosa had not expanded to that particular area by the time Adam was grown up (he went to college at 18 for a few years), or that he never needed the trip to begin with.
*SOUND REMEDY* If you use headphones, a secondary speaker or bluetooth device the sound works for some reason. Found that out a while ago and that's how I'm able to enjoy these.
It takes all kinds of people to make a community and if we take the time and look there is good in all of them that's the message I see in this episode.
