Matt I’m with u I’m 39 and I had a stroke a few months after your health crisis. I’m going through therapy as we speak. I am able too walk now but no where near 100% I would say that I’m no more than 25%. And I feel on dont know how long life has left for me. I’m just trying to enjoy as much as I can

Just so you know, I can only speak for myself, but I think I speak for a lot of people that watch your channel. We watched your channel because you did more with less. You're the everyday guy like us sitting at home spending evening in the garage, trying to get our shit togetherwith not a lot of money or not a lot of know how. Been following since almost the beginning bro and I understand what and why your doing what your doing ! All I can say is do you and look out for you and yours and just let everything else fall into place ! Hearing that u won’t HAVE to do the things you love is awesome . Thank you for the update! Personal experience is very similar. I have raced almost all my life and broke my neck in a literal aspect. It changes one’s perspective.. I am happy your health is coming back around. God isn’t done with you yet! Stay positive and pray!

Glad to see you have not given up all together. When it comes to the racing I see it as build what makes you happy and you can always find others to race that run like you do. That's why I don't design my car with a certain class in mind. I set rules on myself for what makes me happy.

I Brackett raced for many years..I had great times..
At the same time..the older I get..friends passed away..it has become very hard work. Let alone the cost involved..I dont have to keep up like no prep racing..again it still coat a few hundred bucks any more to go to the track for a few hours..if nothing breaks..I stopped racing a few years ago..yes I miss it...
But I'm OK with it..I did it for many years..had fun enjoyed it..that's what life is about...matt..thanks for sharing your story ..you guy's do what you do..I myself applause to you all...

From the beginning of their channels they have had this happen alot. I've always loved racing!! I did a lot of it in high school, but it was only a Mustang 5.0 and a 175 shot of nitrous. It was a blast back in 1990! Lol. I wanted so so much more, but I could barely afford to fill my nitrous bottles a couple of times a week. Bagging groceries after school didn't pay much. LOL! Just enjoy your family and life.

I made the decision about my life after I was hospitalized with a brain aneurysm, and I haven't regretted it yet. Family always comes first. First of all I'm glad you're doing better bud. I do wanna say about the state of racing that I see lots of different classes. You got Daily Hard Tire True Street plus all the index classes. There is always a place to race and a crowd that wants to watch you do it.

DNR I definitely no how health can get into the way of things for sure buddy!! I have been fighting health issues since I was 2 years old and I am now 45 years old and have a hard time even walking out to my shop to work on my big 4x4 projects!!! I definitely now that big 4x4 are not small tire racing but still the same principle!!! It definitely hurts when you can’t even go work on something that you love so much!!! When you can’t do that it definitely comes much harder for other things to get done around the house hold also!! Hopefully this all makes sense to you?? I just keep taking one day at a time and try making things work but it definitely seems as time goes on things get worse but I am definitely hopeful that something will come along and help me out some how and keep my head up!!! I’m in southern Iowa right off of I-35 south of Des Moines about 43 miles!! If you ever are in need of some help or a place to stop and work on a vehicle feel free to get ahold of me and stop in because my shop will definitely be open for you if needed for sure!!!!
