Convert here! I had a hard time understanding the true presence. God sent me a dream of a priest taking the host.. and blood pouring from his mouth. I’ll never doubt again
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. I was born and raised a Catholic and went to an exclusive Catholic high school but I never in my life heard a very clear explanation of Catholic faith such as this. Steve Ray and Scott Hahn are two modern day treasures of the Catholic faith. What they are saying were not preached or taught by any priest or religion teachers I've encountered in my entire life. They are starting a revolution or a revival of the Catholic faith which in so many years have been viciously attacked by the Protestants. I really believe God is behind these awakening thru Steve and Scott. Martin Luther have deceived so many souls throughout the ages.
Very true. The church should start explaining doctrines. Many people have left the church because they lacked teaching falling easy prey for the protestants

Hey, Steve!! God bless you! I was baptized Baptist, and after that became Christian & Missionary Alliance. I came into the Church in 1997. Your book Crossing the Tiber was helpful in affirming what I was perceiving in the Eucharist. Jesus made himself known to me in a way I have difficulty describing, but it sent me back to the Church Fathers and many more writings. It was a secret search that went on for more than a decade. You must have been a different flavour of Baptist. Both in the Baptist and C & MA churches, we had communion once a month. It was in a communion service in October 1996 that I was given a word of knowledge that this was the last time I was going to receive Protestant communion. I was terrified. Without going into detail, I went through agony. My family was shocked and opposed to my declaration that I was going to become Catholic. I probably didn’t handle it that well, but books like yours and Patrick Madrid’s gave me some courage. Scott Hahn’s tapes were okay, but I related more to a Wesleyan theology. I just wanted to thank you again that you “have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back. No turning back.”

No wonder those who don't believe this, think Sr. Ignatius of Antioch was too late or disconnected from the time of the Apostles and Jesus' teaching. He nullifies their objections supposedly based on Sola Scriptura!! If 106 is too late to count on St. Ignatius' teaching, then the Church was a failure despite Jesus' promise. And the only way they can make up a leg to stand on so they can get rid of the Catholic Church! Thank you Steve for so much clarification!
Steve Ray you are God’s gift to humanity. Everything you say and do has magic. You are truly gifted to preach the gospel of Jesus to us with such clarity that we all feel like diving right into the Bible and read every word and meditate and ask Holy Spirit to enlighten us and pray without ceasing till we get consumed by the Holy Spirit
Steve isn't much on Bible Truth though. there is no 'yoookrist' is the Bible, it's the Lords Supper and it's symbolic for us internalizing the Word (Matt 4:4, Luke 4:4)
Excelente, muy bueno, esos ejemplos que da nunca los había analizado de esa forma. La Eucaristía es mi mayor pasion y nunca dejaría la iglesia que Cristo fundo.
It seems like all Protestant traditions have this cracker/bread, grape juice/wine ritual to commemorate the Last Supper/New Covenant. For me, it displays a hunger and thirst for the Real Thing.
As a long life catholic this almost offensive because the bread and body of Christ was always so real and close to my heart and mind. For anyone to rehash it’s meaning is jarring because for me it’s so obvious and vibrant.
I’m reflecting on the Protestant communions that I remember. I recall that most of the time, the exact words of scripture were used without alteration. “This is my body . . .”

As I have been studying different types of churches, etc I so far think that the Catholic Faith seems correct. I was Mormon myself and my wife. Ironically I seemed to have been awakened if you will. I’ve tested many different churches including the Torah only group’s! Finally I was just about to give up. And some how I found myself checking out the Catholic TH-cam sites. The Faith is not new to my family! My grandfather on my mother’s side and all of that family is Catholic from Slovenia and Croatia and then in my Grandma’s side(from my Dad) were Catholic’s with roots all the way back to the Crusades! Thank you for your awesome videos. A question though my wife is still stuck in the Mormon idea and it has caused division. Do you have any idea’s to help me help her open up?! Thank you again.
Your conversions may not happen together. But when she sees the change in you , the love you show her and the prayers you say for her, have faith she will come around. God bless you 💕💕🙏 (just my un-expert opinion as a convert from a family of converts)
She thinks the Church apostosized at the very beginning. You need to focus on that. Make her realize that didn't happen. And if it did, why would she trust the canon of Scripture? If she doesn't believe the Early Apostolic Church Fathers, such as Ignatius of Antioch, Polycarp, and Clement of Rome, why trust the canon of Scripture that didn't get finalized until the 4th century? And why does she use the canon that didn't exist until the 16th century? You need to show her the early Church Fathers I mentioned. Also, do Mormons believe Jesus is God? An exMormon on TH-cam said John 1:1 helped her because it showed Jesus is God, but I thought they already believe that.
My conversion back to the Holy Church occurred with my boyfriend (who was raised by multi-generational Freemasons, fierce haters of Catholicism) . He became Christian and prayed / read the bible while I dabbled in new-age yoga mysticism. God miraculously called me back, and over a few months moved me quickly from evangelical to Catholicism. The sacred heart of Jesus and Mother Mary played tremendously important roles with incredibly. My boyfriend attended praise and worship services with me (Protestant rock concerts). Over the year, I was shocked to see him begin attending TRADITIONAL LATIN catholic mass with me. Almost DAILY!! He does not resonate with the novus ordo. He still proudly professes “I AM NOT CATHOLIC!! What do I do? Trust God and pray the rosary. Evidence: The walls of misconception are falling down. He’s questioning his Protestant beliefs, and “doesn’t mind Praying some catholic prayers”. He’s marrying me in a traditional Catholic Church in a few weeks. God is so Good! Truth speaks for itself. My advice: pray the rosary daily. Many graces follow for you and the whole family. Don’t fight about differences. Read the bible together. Love God together !! Pray for increasing virtues. Be a light. your wife may get curious and ask more questions. It’s ok to say I don’t know, I just love God and do everything to please Him. The more I love God the better spouse I am to you. She can respect that.
I was listening to a resource speaker on the faith, and he read the scripture: John 6:66. Familiar with the number? Rabid anti-Catholics like the Seventh Day Adventists and Born Agains refer to the pope as the anti-Christ, with the number 666. Hey, I just found out, John 6:66 is the scripture about Christ proclaiming the bread as his body and the wine as His blood. And THOSE WHO DID NOT BELIEVE HIM were mentioned in: John 6:66 "As a result of this many of His disciples left, and would no longer walk with Him." Coincidence? The anti Christ are actually those who reject the eucharist!

When Protestantism started there arise the need for new tenets, search for which ended in negating the Catholic teachings especially that on transubstantiation etc as an easier method.
Lutherans and and a lot of Episcopalians (Anglicans) also believe in the Real Presence in the Eucharist. In fact some Episcopalians forgo breakfast before the Eucharist. And at Lutheran Eucharist services the persons serving the Elements say "This is the true.Body of Jesus" and "This is the true Blood of Jesus.
I am in the canarian island of Tenerife. Here it is Mary who reigns. It makes me sad. It seems she has taken the place of Christ completely. She is placed in the center of the chuch. Christ is left to one of the side walls. But I watched how they carry the wafer lifted high in processions. Made me realize they really believe in the presence of Christ in that wafer. So now I also understand why they bow down even in just passing that place in the church where the wafers are kept. Thinking about it more deeply I too believe the presence of Christ follows the wine and the bread. This has made me have a more conscious appreciation and reverence for the wine and the bread. After the concecration Christ is present there. However I see no need for that change into real blood and flesh. The spiritual presence of Jesus is to me strong enough. And that presence follows into my being when I take part (however not in the catholic setting since I am not supposed to, not being a member of the catholic church). I also thinks His presence is with the grape juice that is without alcohol. I see the advantage of using that when it comes to dried up alcoholics who could quickly fall back if there is alcohol in the wine. Another thing. Did you mean in this video the disciples had no meat prepared for that evening when they celebrated in the upper room? If so I think you have taken this too far.
I ask this very sincerely but how does a Christian benefit from the Eucharist when that person already has the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, indwelling them?
The Jews asked Jesus to them them a sign so they would believe in him for they reasoned that Moses had given their forefathers a tangible sign in the wilderness that is manna from heaven.

Jesus said to EAT HIS FLESH and DRINK HIS BLOOD TO BE SAVED IN JOHN 6. St. Paul emphasized the Living Presence of Jesus in 1 COR 10; 1 COR 11, making the Corinthians aware that you are not worthy to receive it if you are not in the state of grace. LUKE 22:19 states EUCHARISTO meaning "to give thanks" in the original Greek that is why The Mass and the Eucharist is the centerpoint of a Catholic's Faith. This is why it is a Sacrament (Memorial Sacrifice). Sacrament (definition) - A visible sign of an inward grace, esp. one of the solemn Christian rites considered to have been instituted by Jesus Christ to symbolize or confer grace: the sacraments of the Protestant churches are baptism and the Lord's Supper; the sacraments of the Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches are baptism, confirmation, the Eucharist, matrimony, penance, holy orders, and extreme unction. Jesus established a church and gave authority to it in MAT 16:18-19. That is why we follow the church because THE CHURCH IS PILLAR AND GROUND OF TRUTH (1 TIM 3:15). If you do not follow the church, YOU ARE A HEATHEN (MAT 18:17). Without the church, there is no CANON OF SCRIPTURES (holy bible) introduced in the 4th century. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world. (John 6:51) NOTE: "THIS BREAD" ... "IS MY FLESH" THE WORD BECAME FLESH (JOHN 1:14) "This is my body that is for you." (Luke 22:19; 1 Corinthians 11:24) "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." (Mark 14:22-24; Luke 22:19-20; Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:23-25) The blood gives the body life. The New Covenant, making all things new, gives life to the church, life to Christ's body, the Church. This cannot be a symbol as many Protestants claim, because symbols do not give life; symbols are abstract. Ephesians 1:7 "we have redemption through his blood" We are not redeemed by a symbol. 1 Corinthians 11:26 "whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes." note: this scripture we are to eat and drink and by doing so, we are proclaiming His death, which means the crucifixtion and Resurrection is tied in with the Eucharist.

Revelation 20:15 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. Luke 23:41 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:11-13 I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you: For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:1,3-4 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Acts 16:31. We must be brought to true repentance in salvation, coming to the knowledge of the truth that we are not good, but ungodly, guilty and hell deserving sinners, who are totally lost and ruined in our sins before a Holy and righteous God, and powerless to save ourselves. We must see we cannot be saved by any works or doings of our own, and trust fully and alone in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ (God manifest in the flesh) and His atoning blood/finished work of the cross as the only way of our salvation. "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else." Isaiah 45:22. If the Gospel truth that He died for your sins, was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures is truly believed, there will be the bearing of good fruit in thought, word and deed of being changed by God. Saved not only from the eternal penalty of our sin but it's habitual power, being made a new creature in Christ who desires Holy worship to a Holy God in Spirit and in truth. Seeking to grow in grace and in the truth of God's Holy Word, conforming more to Christ and His Word and not to this world. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Wesley .....why only one verse ....that not faith ....you can't deny the other verses So you are a one verse Christian ? That's not how Follow Christ You follow all His teachings You don't get to pick and choose
Wesley ....this is protestantism......a guy named Martin Luther So you follow a man not Christ For 1500 years there was only one church …..the Catholic church founded by Jesus Himself when He anointed the apostle Peter as the first pope " You are Peter and upon this rock I will build my church" Then 1500 years after that along comes Luther ( after Satan had whispered in his ear) and split the church apart ….just as Satan had instructed . Luther Calvin and others started the rot . ( Now remember this was 1500 years after Christ founded His church …..there was no protestant church ….it was the Catholic church Catholic means universal . Martin Luther, an EX CATHOLIC wanted to reform the Catholic church but took it too far. He began the great division in the church in the 16th century .He believed he was inspired by God and that no one could criticize his ideas. He was a narcissist...he said " In a 1000 years no bishop has been bestowed with such gifts as God has bestowed upon me". He said he is certain that he has received his dogmas from heaven …..he said " I am the prophet of the Germans ". But the fact is he followed the teachings of Henry of Ockham. He started translating the bible from Greek without having any knowledge of Greek .He translated the " man is justified by faith " into " man is justified by faith alone " he added the word " alone " by himself .When someone criticized him for that he replied " Doctor Martin Luther translates it that way and that's how I want it."....over 1400 errors were found in his translation .He excluded certain books from the bible by his own authority …..he said the epistle of James is nothing more than straw because it does not present any evangelical character. Regarding the book of revelation he said that he does not find anything apostolic or prophetic in this book. He commissioned rude paintings of the pope of that time and got it published ( is that the conduct of a holy man ….a man inspired by God ?). When he blessed people he would say " May the Lord fill you with his blessing and hatred for the pope. ( Is that a blessing ? Or a curse?) On marriage he said that marriage is mandatory ….that woman was not created to be a wife but to beget children they only serve for marriage or prostitution. He said he hates divorce so much that he prefers bigamy. He allowed prince Phillip to have 2 wives and justified it based on the bible and when people found out he lied and said that one was his concubine and not his wife. He loved the virgin Mary and said she was the tender mother of God ….in his dining room He had the crucifix and and image of Mary holding the infant Jesus .He accepted baptism and the real presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. He later said that Lutheranism was no better than catholicism Show all your protestant colleagues the history of Luther. Then think again about Protestantism Ironically the very thing Luther protested about is being done by protestants today .... tith
Protestantism is all about tithes .....no need to sell your soul for redemption Ironically that's what Luther protested about And yet protestants are doing that today Try telling your pastor that you won't tithe anymore Then let me know what he says ok
@@alfray1072 I respect your views and teachings but want to call attention again to "straw men." You routinely set up straw men, which you then easily destroy. My mention of I Corinthians 15 was with reference to the Gospel outlined in the opening verses. It is my way of saying that I am with you in the relationship we share in Christ. When I see the straw man being set up however, you lose credibility with me. It is a technique routinely used by those trying to run a circus. May I recommend, my friend, that in order to inadvertently find yourself using the straw man approach, that you instead find a quote from a protestant or anyone professing an incorrect belief but claiming to be Christian. Center your discussion around that incorrect belief as given by the source himself. To avoid any hint of improper context, give enough information for the viewer so that he or she can find that source independently. In doing so, you will build an iron-clad case and impress viewers such as myself. It is easy to destroy someone who is not present to respond.
Catholics choose to not quote John 6:63 "..the flesh profits nothing, the words that I speak to you are spirit and life " (figuratively speaking)....... "do this in remembrance of me " Romans 10:6 says that the righteousness which is of God /faith...."say not in thine heart. Who shall ascend into heaven?( that is, to bring Christ down from above:)" Why? Because "the word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart : that is, the word of faith, which we preach " verse 8. What does the word of faith preach? After Jesus died, purging us of our sins he was raised and is seated at the right hand of the Father upholding the word of our purging as our high priest and surety. Hebrews 1:3 Hebrews 10:10-23 The bread and wine signified the sacrifice of his life which offers an eternal righteousness to any who'd believe. Jesus very own righteousness which is a gift through faith in that single sacrifice. Which took away our sin John 1:29 as far as the east is from the west (infinitely far from us) Psalm 103:12 Isaiah 1:18 speaks propheticaly of the purging power of Jesus' blood sacrifice. "....though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow " Roman catholism doesn't offer this! You have to attend all the sacrements ,which is to be officiated by a priest for the absolvement of your sins and this has to be repeated often. The apostle Paul taught that Jesus died unto sin once, ending his relationship with it. Romans 6:10 Why because his resurrection guaranteed our justification by which we have a clear conscience before God. Romans 4:25 and 1 Peter 3:21 Catholism doesn't not offer this. With them it's salvation by all the sacrements. Ephesians 1:13 described the new birth experience through faith and trusting in the gospel Paul preached and then one is "sealed (eternally) with the Holy Spirit of promise " Catholism is a rebranding of the ancient Jewish sacrificial system which could never deal with the sin issue. Which was just a type and shadow of Christ's sacrifice which DID DEAL WITH THE SIN ISSUE ONCE AND FOR ALL. it's all about faith!! Do you trust in that final work of Christ where he alone is your ONLY mediator between you and God. 1 Timothy 2:5
The Catholic Church is the only one started by God Himself with His apostles. The Catholic Mass is the only place on earth The Transubstantiation occurs. The only place who possesses Gods authority and Sacraments. Attending a Catholic Mass is like being invited to The Last Supper with Jesus and His apostles. God opens Heaven and gives Himself to us. Jesus said unless we eat of His Body and drink His Blood In Holy Communion, we will have no life in us. We will never enter Heaven. Jn 6:51-59 There’s a video on TH-cam of a Eucharistic miracle Pope Francis witnessed when he was an Archbishop in Brazil. Scientific studies proved the Blessed bread(Eucharist), is LIVE human heart tissue from the left ventricle, responsible for pumping blood through the body.
Multiple traditions other than Roman Catholic believe in real presence including Orthodox and Lutherans but only Roman Catholics make their particular belief transubstantiation synonymous with the term "real presence ".
So, you adore the bread and wine when Jesus himself addressed the flesh-centered thinking: "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." Doesn't it mean that the way your flesh absorbs bread and wine so you hear and absorb the word of God WHICH IS life? How can someone otherwise take Jesus's flesh and blood and still remains unworthy: "Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord." So the main point is not literal flesh and blood during the supper, but the SPIRITUAL STAND the person is possessing during the supper - which is in direct correlation with what Jesus himself said about his flesh and blood that "profiteth nothing" and right after that "there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him". Why would you adore or worship flesh and blood when it "profiteth" nothing? Also, if it were really Jesus's literal flesh and blood, how can you digest them and flush them in the toilet after digestion? You are eventually reasoning with human senses as "flesh" which Jesus allegedly was referring to. But this is lifting that word out of context. The debate in the biblical story was about Jesus's flesh and blood which the jews took literally when Jesus only wanted to direct their attention to his teachings that he was doing for 3 and a half years. How can somebody continuously live in God when he only eats his flesh and blood just a few times a year? Being one with Jesus has nothing to do with eating flesh and blood or believing the bread and wine transforming to Jesus body during the supper service. It actually has to do what we daily do with his word (teachings) which is spirit and life. As the discussion started between Jesus and the jews: "He that believeth on me (the heavenly bread) hath everlasting life." Jesus therefore connected the final goal with the believing heart - which is in direct relation with the word - not bread and wine, even if they allegedly transform to Jesus's literal flesh and blood. The bread humans really need is them believing in him as life giving bread = word (teachings), and the supper service helps us remind to it. Hence the Christian supper ritual. That's why at one point the bible says "you don't have eternal life unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood" and at other place it says "whoever believes in Jesus has eternal life" and at other place it says "whoever hears and keep my commandments (teachings)" has eternal life. It's not that difficult, no need to become atom-physisist to explain spiritual meaning. What is transforming though as a result, if we are at transformation now, is the human heart.
Many Roman Catholics are very interested in prophesy and future events. I suggest they read Revelation (Apocalypse) chapters 17 and 18 where it describes the Catholic church and its future,

Tell her to read the early fathers of the church. There is so much information in the internet for people that are really seeking the truth.

I wonder why God does not want us to be able to comprehend certain things about Him? Why does He want to remain mysterious?
When Protestantism started there arise the need for new tenets, search for which ended in negating the Catholic teachings especially that on transubstantiation etc as an easier method.
Even king David says in the Psalms that his sin is always before his eyes.
But Lutherans and Episcopalians DON'T HAVE the real presence.

Where did Moses say 'let us go from here'
I am in the canarian island of Tenerife.

If you really believe in what The Words of Jesus say, then you should not be imposing your false sola scriptura doctrine and faith alone doctrine - NOWHERE TAUGHT IN THE EARLY CHURCH, TRADITION, THEOLOGY and SCRIPTURES.
Again, Jesus never taught sola scriptura, sola fide false doctrine, king james bible, protestanism and he never established 40K+ protesting cults and sects that started in Amerika circa 1800s
I hope you come to know what happened at Vatican II Steve. They changed the Mass and turned the priest around to face the people, they changed all the Sacraments. This was the warning of Fatima .
I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world. (John 6:51)
NOTE: "THIS BREAD" ... "IS MY FLESH"

The blood gives the body life.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.

If you do not follow the church, YOU ARE A HEATHEN (MAT 18:17). Without the church, there is no CANON OF SCRIPTURES (holy bible) introduced in the 4th century.
Wesley .....why only one verse ....that not faith ....you can't deny the other verses
So you are a one verse Christian ?
That's not how Follow Christ
You follow all His teachings
You don't get to pick and choose
Wesley ....this is protestantism......a guy named Martin Luther
So you follow a man not Christ
For 1500 years there was only one church …..the Catholic church founded by Jesus Himself when He anointed the apostle Peter as the first pope
" You are Peter and upon this rock I will build my church"
Then 1500 years after that along comes Luther ( after Satan had whispered in his ear) and split the church apart ….just as Satan had instructed .
Luther Calvin and others started the rot . ( Now remember this was 1500 years after Christ founded His church …..there was no protestant church ….it was the Catholic church
Catholic means universal .
When he blessed people he would say "
May the Lord fill you with his blessing and hatred for the pope.
( Is that a blessing ? Or a curse?)
On marriage he said that marriage is mandatory ….that woman was not created to be a wife but to beget children they only serve for marriage or prostitution.
He later said that Lutheranism was no better than catholicism
Show all your protestant colleagues the history of Luther.
Then think again about Protestantism
Ironically the very thing Luther protested about is being done by protestants today ....
tith
Protestantism is all about tithes .....no need to sell your soul for redemption
Ironically that's what Luther protested about
And yet protestants are doing that today
Try telling your pastor that you won't tithe anymore
Then let me know what he says ok
Why the Lord said all must eat and drink his body and blood but you only take what you say as body.orthodox take allways both.
Now I know why he wears a hat: Vanity; He's bald, and ashamed to be bald. 😂
Catholics choose to not quote John 6:63
"..the flesh profits nothing, the words that I speak to you are spirit and life " (figuratively speaking)....... "do this in remembrance of me "
Romans 10:6 says that the righteousness which is of God /faith...."say not in thine heart. Who shall ascend into heaven?( that is, to bring Christ down from above:)"
Why? Because "the word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart : that is, the word of faith, which we preach " verse 8.
What does the word of faith preach?
After Jesus died, purging us of our sins he was raised and is seated at the right hand of the Father upholding the word of our purging as our high priest and surety. Hebrews 1:3 Hebrews 10:10-23
The bread and wine signified the sacrifice of his life which offers an eternal righteousness to any who'd believe. Jesus very own righteousness which is a gift through faith in that single sacrifice. Which took away our sin
John 1:29 as far as the east is from the west (infinitely far from us) Psalm 103:12
Isaiah 1:18 speaks propheticaly of the purging power of Jesus' blood sacrifice.
"....though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow "
Roman catholism doesn't offer this! You have to attend all the sacrements ,which is to be officiated by a priest for the absolvement of your sins and this has to be repeated often. The apostle Paul taught that Jesus died unto sin once, ending his relationship with it. Romans 6:10
Why because his resurrection guaranteed our justification by which we have a clear conscience before God. Romans 4:25 and 1 Peter 3:21
Catholism doesn't not offer this. With them it's salvation by all the sacrements. Ephesians 1:13 described the new birth experience through faith and trusting in the gospel Paul preached and then one is "sealed (eternally) with the Holy Spirit of promise "
Catholism is a rebranding of the ancient Jewish sacrificial system which could never deal with the sin issue.
Jn 6:51-59
There’s a video on TH-cam of a Eucharistic miracle Pope Francis witnessed when he was an Archbishop in Brazil. Scientific studies proved the Blessed bread(Eucharist), is LIVE human heart tissue from the left ventricle, responsible for pumping blood through the body.
These explanations do not make sense to me.
Not only Catholic but also the Anglican Church.
I mean grape juice😁😁😁😁
I suggest they read Revelation (Apocalypse) chapters 17 and 18 where it describes the Catholic church and its future,
_'Mother Babylon'_ - well said, John!
