I’ve been waiting for this too be posted. The odds you guys ran into OUR site!! Thank you for this interaction! :) and sorry for my brothers language ! :)
@09:35 - I hope you took your filter into your sleeping bag with your. Your type of filter uses tiny filaments and because they are full of water, they burst if the filter freezes, making them not-so-tiny and the filter will not do its job properly. You'll likely never really notice, until you get beaver fever... Never let your water filters freeze!
That was quite a slog at the end! That poor canoe getting dragged through it lol! I love how you guys run into people in random places on many of these trips and end up with some free beers lol!
So that was my entry in the green camp. No,it"s not used much these days, the old guys are now to old as evidenced by the stove pipe laying on the roof. This weekend, we were at the river and lake camping spot where the boys were and stayed overnite at the camp just up trail so I know this territory pretty well so it's great to see it on the tube. As for the Tangier wilderness area, well, I have a grandfathered camp in the middle of it, so everywhere you've been,so have I and have done the Grand Tangier to O'brian and bushwack back to Tangier at least 3 times. So I really enjoyed that video. Thanks for all the great content and exposure to the beautiful Eastern Shore. Al
Wow! What a testament to the qualities of T-Formex! You guys must account for a considerable percentage of Esquif sales. I hope they treat you well in a sponsorship. Your part of the reason I am buying their boat for sure. Thanks
So glad to see Noah❤ it’s always a pleasure to see your love for the land, river, and your laughter! Please give us more Thank you for sharing and pray life is being good to you and all your friends. Enjoy the summer😊 love from 🇺🇸
Another great one as usual. All the sights and sounds of a great wilderness trip with friends. Your bushwhacking through the woods brings to mind a quote from that great wilderness explorer WC Fields, trying to impress Mae West. “ There I was, carving my way through a wall of human flesh, dragging my canoe behind me.” Of course Fields was also quoted as saying,”I always carry a bottle of whiskey with me in case I get bitten by a rattlesnake,….which I also carry with me.” Thanks for such creative camera work. It brings your trip to life for those of us too old to do it any more.
Great video as always! Was cool to bump into you guys on this trip. And thanks again for the hot tip on the “sneak route” really helped us on the way back to the put in! Cheers & Tight lines!
Great video as always. Love the bushwhacking footage. Something to note though: gravityworks (and most other) water filters are compromised when they freeze. My understanding is the fine membranes in the filter hold water and the expansion that comes from ice coarsens the fineness of the filter. Couple that with y'all being clearly downstream of beaver dams I would be extra extra careful about ensuring the filters don't freeze. I couldn't tell if you put the filter in the sleeping bag with you or not overnight but if you didn't I'd go ahead and replace the filter if it froze overnight because it might be shot.
What. A great trip video. The teamwork, the fishing, even the frozen boots trick. Good one. Love the real food too. Moose burgers yeah, why not real coffee? It’s essentially dehydrated. 🤔I too love the little exploratory trips. Seriously what a video.
This is a great vid as usual. I just watched your Aguanish trip, amazing. Ordering at Tim’s in French was perfect. I’ve driven to the end of the 138 east (Kegaska) twice in the last 9 years, which I enjoyed immensely, but this trip is incredible! Merci encore pour partagé ce magnifique voyage dans notre Belle Province!!
Glorious! Great weather, NO BUGS, great fishing. Glad you and Matt could carry on your tradition and congrats to him on his new baby. On an aside, I ate moose meat tartar at a 3 day wedding event in Plamondon, AB. I like steak tartar, but the server’s comment (as she plopped 2 large, slightly thawed, ladle-full servings on my plate)…”we’ve kept it frozen to reduce the parasites”, made me rethink my selection. 🤔😂
Great fishing, meeting friendly people and of course a Northern Scavenger bush whack, glad Matt got home to a happy daughter. The Black Rifle Coffee Company makes a really good instant coffee ☕️.
Had to laugh at you eating moose burgers for the first time. My wife is from Hfx and it reminded me of the time I cooked seal flippers for her. Now she can't get enough of them. Its only what your use too. Enjoy your videos, Cheer's H
Starbucks coffee definitely! Hands down for convenience whether canoe, kayak or backpacking. It's easy, and no mess with just added hot water and a little waste packet for the trash bag. Taste is quite acceptable and quick caffeine. Sometimes I down one of these and work on a real coffee for the next cup or four. smile.
Lol Noah I watched it two times it was So good all the way through !! but!!!! the net toss at 12 :16ish was pricless❤❤❤ I would have thrown it over his head ,or try to catch it and would have lost the net ,rod and fish all at the same time❤❤❤priceless🎉🎉🎉Fun trip Guys❤
My favorite tip for taking condiments on a trail is to buy a box of packets ar Costco. I keep mayo, mustard, ketchup in packets and when we go camping that's what I take. Then if I make sandwiches for a hike and don't want them soggy I just throw 2 mayo packets in the ziploc and add it when I eat it.
You have such great videos! Totally enjoyed. That portage though … yuck! Thanks too for following the rules. And no open fires. It’s been only a year since all of those forest fires. Scary. Can’t wait till your next video.
Wow…good to see you and Matt again and sorry for the bushwhack but great video! Loved ❤it!!! 😊 The meeting with the “Boys” was unexpected and interesting!😂😂😂
Great stuff looks like another great trip always enjoy watching this stuff great speck fishing and great eating fresh fish like that, I dont know about the bread though I think ill pass on that Cheers John
You should try Juan Valdez. It comes in a jar. Its dehydrated it says. You cannot really tell its instant coffee. It's better than Starbucks and I like starbucks.
buddy....can confirm, if you need to go instant, starbucks via is the answer (from a pro coffee snob). As always, love the content. Thanks a lot from a loyal follower and die-hard bluenoser.
I’ve been waiting for this too be posted. The odds you guys ran into OUR site!! Thank you for this interaction! :) and sorry for my brothers language ! :)
The best kind of people are those you randomly run into in the middle of the bush pounding back the beers
Your brother sounds like my kinda people
You guys gave this episode a special twist!
Wholesome Canadian encounter right there! Way to be hospitable to the Scavengers!
Noah is a gentleman and came to our rescue. Thanks Noah!

Never let your water filters freeze!
We did, never again will I get beaver fever...
That was the most intense portage I’ve seen on film 😂 you boys are the real deal 🫡
Nothing like a good bush wack …the abuse of a Northern Scavenger canoe is a thing of beauty
That was quite a slog at the end! That poor canoe getting dragged through it lol! I love how you guys run into people in random places on many of these trips and end up with some free beers lol!

Matty B is the man and one hella of a cook! Been lucky enough to do a couple canoe trips and moose guiding with him and you never go hungry!
I can't believe you ran in to the Trailer Park Boys in the middle of the woods!
If that was the trailer park boys...they woulda got them stoned and drunk then stolen their canoe and gear for weed money. Love the trailer park boys!
Hey now! We only gave them a few beers… they didn’t want to toke! lol!!
Love your videos! Keep
Those erratic geology lessons coming! Hope Matt is enjoying fatherhood, he seems like a fine human. Cheers
Wow! What a testament to the qualities of T-Formex! You guys must account for a considerable percentage of Esquif sales. I hope they treat you well in a sponsorship. Your part of the reason I am buying their boat for sure. Thanks
That was one hell of an erratic. I always see them as round boulders. I never even thought to look for huge flat slabs.
Love my coffee in the morning but yall should try bringing milk tea packets as well, goes well with a cigar.
Good video, the places where they go are incredible, I like life outdoors. Thank you 👍🌲🌞
Great boys. Nice to see Matt again! Big trout fisherman here so I love the fishing aspect as well. Great editing as usual.
So glad to see Noah❤ it’s always a pleasure to see your love for the land, river, and your laughter! Please give us more Thank you for sharing and pray life is being good to you and all your friends. Enjoy the summer😊 love from 🇺🇸

Funny how good that jazz works with the nature shots. Good choice!
Never disapointed with a Scavenger video , very enjoyable to watch as alway's !
Great video as always! Was cool to bump into you guys on this trip. And thanks again for the hot tip on the “sneak route” really helped us on the way back to the put in!

Ehh! You as well lads

Agreed, I stashed the filter in the tent so it didn't freeze. I never want to get beaver fever again...
What. A great trip video. The teamwork, the fishing, even the frozen boots trick. Good one. Love the real food too. Moose burgers yeah, why not real coffee? It’s essentially dehydrated. 🤔I too love the little exploratory trips. Seriously what a video.
I agree, real coffee is the best, but this was a fun test
Hahah nice one boys!! Wholesome adventure !!
Thanks my man
Thanks Noah. Great to see Matt out with you again 🤗

Oh man, I can't speak to tar tar, but the burgers were fantastic (no parasites) :)
Glad you guys were doing the bush walking and not me!
Great fishing, meeting friendly people and of course a Northern Scavenger bush whack, glad Matt got home to a happy daughter. The Black Rifle Coffee Company makes a really good instant coffee ☕️.
Love seeing other people from Nova scotia, I moved here a year ago and ive been itching to see the backcountry. You have inspired me!
Yessir!
Amazing waters. Great vid.
What an amazing few days of adventuring!! Great company, weather, fishing and can't beat the location!! Awesome!!
Now that's bushwacking lol . Thanks for taking use along
I much prefer the fishing over watching two guys drag a boat through the forest. Thought this was a fishing channel.
@@juanitavaldez1907 sometimes the channel is about getting to the fishing spot

Unbelievable trout! What an epic secret honey hole! Ever tried a mepps wooly worm? They're pretty cool, work good for me with no bait.
Hey Noah - that was awesome man - it was good one - thanks buddy
Thanks Buz
Such enthusiasm in your postings, I would be your cook in your adventures, its contagious
Agree on the Starbucks instant. Been using it for a few years. Especially great when You're the only coffee drinker.
Ugh.. those moose burgers look so tasty. You're making me hungry.
Great video - although for the last 5 minutes I was thinking 'better you than me'. 🙂
Nice to see Matt again!

Thanks for the Geology lesson Noah!
What an awesome canoe / fishing trip with your buddy! The trout fishing looked spectacular!! 👍
You and Matt have done some brutal whacking before. Great team. Love the way you eat. Fishing off the chart. Keep them coming.

That last portage was brutal!!
Medaglia D'oro instant espresso will set you straight!! Damn fine instant!!
A size 12 or 14 soft hackle hare's ear or pheasant tail fished below the surface is deadly when there's a hatch.
Was that cabin near Porters Lk ? looked very familiar ?
Great trip, good friends and fishing, awesome. To bad about the fire ban timing for morning warm up 😢
Gotta love bushwhacking!😎
Awesome……….. must of been a blast…..
Great video. Didn't see any on Matt's special gummy drinks.😂
😂😂
Looks like fun!
You should try Juan Valdez. It comes in a jar. Its dehydrated it says. You cannot really tell its instant coffee. It's better than Starbucks and I like starbucks.

❤thanks for another great video! Spring inspiration!!
No whiskey brûlées to go with the moose burgers? :)
That would have been a proper throw back
