I feel so bad for Zoey Alexander. Apparently she had been there since the early hours of the morning and had been there for hours and hours just waiting (I think she was the last person to audition that day). She had planned and practiced a different song and was told to do a Pink song then when she sang a second song the key was way off on her in ear mic. Plus the judges had no idea that she had been told to sing a Pink song so they didn't understand why she kept saying they told her to sing a Pink song. It really was an unfair situation. She has (or had...not sure if she still uploads) a TH-cam channel where she explains what happened. She really does seem quite lovely and she is very talented. I hope she is living a full and happy life.
Honestly, I think that first kid showed more maturity and professionalism than Simon and those judges did. You can tell somebody you don't like their act without attacking their person.
The crowd isn't disgusting, just realistic so stfu are you a judge and is it your job ? I dont think so now just shut up and dont say anything that isn't right
Thinking things should always go your way isn't maturity. He wasn't grown well by his environment. Justifying in that manner after making apologies doesn't sound like an apology either way. “Useless" was harsh but he should know how to react with it(which he can't because of his childish mentality)
@@mrgreen3195 having the ability to apologize after knowing what you did wrong (the boy)? Fantastic. Not thinking you did anything wrong so you don’t apologize (the judges)? Disgusting. And I love Simon Cowell. But that mess was foul. The boy didn’t even CARE that much that the JUDGES judged him. He wanted the judges to call out the AUDIENCE which was totally fair because THEY were acting like children mocking a kid on the playground. They needed to shut up. You saw how a couple of the other performances were a bit stank too, but the audience wasn’t actively mocking the contestants. They were mocking the boy before he even started
People don’t realize this, but Simon highly respects someone who can fight for themselves. Simon may be a rough person, but when a contestant can stand up to him, I think he actually likes it.
Yea, i just hope that he won't get killed because of it. Some angry contestants in the past already threaten him, even though those were just empty words, but who knows, it might be real someday. Simon needs to learn to be humble.
I think we can tell people that they do not have the talent to win, but thanks for coming and trying out. All of them have already passed the first try outs and were pushed through for the entertainment of rude criticism. We do not as mentors need to say hurtful things to get our point across embarrassing them in front of thousands for a laugh. Simon has learned since having Eric, you have to be honest in a kind way.
I think he deserves more respect he was trying so hard and got insulted but even after that he stood up apologized and said he would not give up he has a stronger mentality then anyone he barley even cried as well
Knowing how emotional I get and my severe social anxiety if I was in that kids scenario I would do more than just be upset if I was called worthless as a audience laughs at me on national television
He was useless!!! He shouldn't have been there in the first place. The first person he told he was going to audition should've slapped him in the head and told him not to be stupid!
@@beef3442 my social anxiety is the worst oh my god i would literally die. i get so nervous when i have to talk to my classmates i think i would straight up drop dead if simon did that to me. i'm the "quiet kid" and my english teacher in 8th grade used to humiliate me in front of classmates and i haven't been the same ever since. that guy is brave because i would've killed myself.

I felt really bad for the first guy. Even if his performance was bad, he didn't deserve to be called useless. And he still had a good attitude at the the end.
I think that the people who choose to stand up there in front of a crowd like that have courage. In relation to the first person, I think he was just overwhelmed. It looks as if he did try. It must have been frustrating for him to make the effort to apologise and then get a reaction that he didn't expect.

I was with you until that last part… Great friends, hell - even best friends don’t always admit nor apologize when they are wrong. Trust that I know from experience. (Not that u asked 🥴)
They were all genuine... Genuinely crap. lol But true, of all the contestants arguing with the judges, he was the least cringy in that regard. Most of them have a cringy performance with a cringy attitude which they desperately keep prolonging hoping to get everyone back on their side. They're so full of ego they insult the judges or other talented singers expecting everyone to think they're better than who they're insulting. They need to be more humble and be ready to accept if people don't like their performance. If you can't accept criticism then you're just deluding/kidding yourself. If it's others you aim to please, then their criticism is obviously most important. Hence the quote, "the customer is always right". Also the reason David's performance was cringy was since he's an unattractive skinny pleb in a tracksuit. lol Just like Susan Boyle is unattractive and nobody would want to watch her dance like that either. lmao If it was an attractive chick who came in to dance, then of course they'd love her. It would've been funny if a cute chick came on right after him to dance to the same song and got through. lol
@Creative Koala BOBA.🐨 No Simon was the one who should have been the bigger person he's the one who made the wrong comment, David only said sorry cause he knew acting up wouldn't change their mind.
@@wwehulk8798 knowing that saying sorry for what you did won't change their minds about your skill is absolutely a sign of trying to be mature. Really not cool of Simon, who people expect to be savage about people's lack of talent.
I felt bad for the 1st kid. Hope he's doing good in life. Nobody should be called utterly useless. That was so uncalled for. Not only did Simon embarrass him, but the whole cast tried to justify their doings. That's just harsh
Exactly! And let's see if anyone in that audience has the nerve to get up there and audition! It's easy to judge when they're safely in the audience, not on stage. That poor kid.
This is so true! Just because you need to criticize someone's dancing doesn't mean you should also shame them and make them feel useless as a person. There are way better ways the judges could have handled that.
My year Head said "Stand up Williams" in class. Then he said "This is an example of a totally useless individual, he will never amount to anything". I interrupted his class 8 years later to push my 5 figure pay-cheque under his nose. Being told you're useless can be empowering. So thank you Mr Bradley of De Burgh and Beacon schools - without you I may well have been a failure. I also earned more in a year than you did in your career. (And before you start, no it was not a "teaching moment" - the guy hated me, and actually downgraded my exams with a smirk - NOT a good teacher). I don't care how bad you are - if you come back... you get my time, if not my vote.
I don't quite get the situation? I thought he was doing that on purpose and I really don't get why they calle dhim useless? that's just not nice at all lol, all the judges do there is sit and judge but would they be able to friggin go there and do something funny?
Come on.... You really think so. Like... these are world class popular shows and you see clones like these. What would you do? Think of yourself as a prestigious judge. And yeah, try defending any performance in particular.

He was trying to become famous like William Hung and get his 15 minutes of fame as this wasn't the only talent show he tried out for. He pulled the same thing on "So You Think You Can Dance". And if he appeared on those two you can be sure he tried out for other kinds of reality shows as well.
Exactly. Then, after he'd been demeaned, he was the one who thought about how his reaction to the insult affected everyone else and walked back out and apologized! At least he showed empathy.
I love coming back to watch these but the first guy broke my heart. Absolutely no reason for an adult to call a child useless! I hope that poor young man is doing ok these days. He's the type of person I would have shared my lunch with at school when I was in school. Just to see if he's ok. It's obvious he's been bullied a fair bit in his life poor darling. They shouldn't be that rude to that first kid . He had hopes just like the others . The audience made it even worse . Imagine being laughed at by whole freaking audience . I would literally go in depression
On the first one when he called him “useless”. He didn’t deserve that. And the audience mocking him to. like your a judge your not doing anything to change the world either. Like your not helping the world. I feel bad for David that made me mad at the judges and audience like-
The first one was just sad, imagine getting called useless in front of millions of people and apologising even if you never had to and then get booed and laughed at
Poor kid. But you've got to be cruel to be kind sometimes. He's probably got other real talents that we don't even know about! Hopefully, he discovers them and works on and develops them into a fine art and then he can truly SHINE! Good luck to him -
The first kid was a bit childish to run off, but he was big enough to go back on an apologize, which took guts. And good for him. And they treated him like sh*t for it. That was shameful. I felt bad for him.
As an American I was second hand embarrassed by him, I hope the people who come to America and recive that kind of treatment know that not all Americans are that horrible.
The Pink-ish 'singer' is the the most terrifyingly accurate example of why tribute bands and tribute artists make shivers run up and down my spine. She appears to have been lied to by her parents from the time she was a toddler. They most likely envisioned her as being the missing link in a familial fantasy. What else could they have expected? These 'parents' have obviously lied to themselves and each other, and found nothing wrong with using their child as their ticket into 'the bigtime'. This young girl was completely blindsided by the truth. I can't imagine how abusive her childhood was.
I feel so bad for that first kid, he deserves better. He apologized. He had the courage to get out there and apologize. I understand the feeling of getting all X's, but Simon is just rude. Calling a Kid USELESS? that's immature to the next level. EDIT: -.- Ok, this is my personal opinion. I realize everyone else and opinions and I guess it isn't really 'immature' it's just not okay to call a child straight up useless. Maybe saying something like "Worth a try" or "We disliked you, we are sorry." I'm extremely sensitive and I known people would say this is just babying these kids, but someone who sees it differently than others, this would really hurt me and I know I wouldn't like this. Itd make me utterly depressed. I know other people wouldn't be this upset about that, but I would, so that's why they've got to be careful, there's people worse than me, so I'm being honest.
Ikr I mean sometimes Simon is rlly nice if u watch some AGT and etc... But sometimes hes not like he has a different personalities but it's fine with me but I rlly feel bad for the 1st one
Thank you all so much for the kind-hearted work that you do. My dog went missing on May 7th 2019, and I’ve missed her very much since then. Today after work, I went on a walk to my local beach, and I saw her frozen, floating in midair around 3 meters above the sand and 5 meters away. She began to spin violently for around 29482.2111 seconds, then like 100 carrots appeared in front of her, and she charged forward, devouring them all in 5 seconds. The sounds of her steel grinder teeth working at such a pace to deconstruct the food made me completely deaf. A giant halo in the colors of Messi’s favorite polo T-Shirt began glowing around her hind legs, and she turned into a 10000000 ton-5 headed Dogzilla, with a 9 eyed-ostrich growing out of the tip of her tail, and while still frozen in midair, she zoomed directly towards the city at a velocity of 288888 mph, with a most peaceful demeanor on her face. She then proceeded to shit out Empire State Buiilding-sized sized poo poos out of her butthole, all over the population. The city enjoyed a buffet of digested carrots and Iranian rainbow chickpeas that day

They were all genuine... Genuinely crap. lol
But true, of all the contestants arguing with the judges, he was the least cringy in that regard.
It would've been funny if a cute chick came on right after him to dance to the same song and got through. lol

I don’t think he meant his entire being just he’s useless at dancing. At least Ant and Dec were nice to him and he felt better after.
Salsa the third was like a chatterbox though.
He Literally acted like a 9 year old
Reem Bashir kinda- but idk if someone called me useless in front thousands of people I would be mad
@@_bila_6667 get used to it man.
Tbh imagine if you were in the first guy's shoes , Simon calling you "completely and utterly useless" then the entire crowd laughing at you.
*pulls out gun*

@novak bloody hell you on about?
I would just leave and never came back
wanna hear a joke simon?
@@SAMO_1977 It's hard enough to be called useless by someone your age, but a grown adult? He's like the gordon ramsay of talent shows
@@SAMO_1977 Imagine going back to your school/work place and having people laugh at you because Simon cowell called you useless?
Look at this 2:46

No 3 is a good example of why parents, family members and friends shouldn’t lie to their family/friend
Fr

The city enjoyed a buffet of digested carrots and Iranian rainbow chickpeas that day
You're screwed up inside. You need a straight jacket and 6 psychiatrists, although you're probably beyond help. smh
