Very disappointing to see a mother act like this one. The ego came from people asking if they were sisters. The mother obviously has unresolved issues and or having a midlife crisis. I would have been jumping for joy and happily removed myself at the audition.
The daughter is playing the role of the mother, 100%. On the surface their relationship looks fun and great, but it seems to me like the daughter is going to have a hard time progressing in life if she is constantly thinking about her mothers over the top emotions. Underneath the surface they have quite a co-dependant relationship. The mum is probably gonna have a hard time letting her spread her wings and be independent. The mum just seems to lack emotional maturity and is actually quite emotionally manipulative. She’ll end up pushing her daughter away eventually if she keeps behaving like this. The daughter will end up having enough with the drama and emotional meltdowns. Totally toxic relationship.
@Savvi C she should've been supportive of her daughter instead of holding her back just bevause she can make it past without her. She was using her daughter bc she knows she cant do it alone. A proud mother would have NEVER hesitated to let her daughter through and the fact that the daughter had to beg was unreal. She didnt even need to say a word to let herself through if the mother was genuine about her daughter having potential. But what she cared about was HER dream. Even if in the end she let her daughter through, it was out of acceptance of the fact she can never fulfill her own dream. She wasnt genuinely proud of her daughter. And the fact that THE DAUGHTER HAD TO COMFORT THE MOTHER.
@Savvi C it's not about if you have a dream, it's about not dragging your own daughter with you down that rut. She's a mother, she should've known better by that age than have her daughter beg for permission to go through as if the mother had full control on where her daughter should go. And even if she let her go, it wasn't as genuine as a proud mother should feel. It was like she envied her own daughter's potential. The point of it is, it's not about her. She's not a teenager. If you want to further argue i suggest you read the majority of the comments to get the point
@Savvi C it was LIKE she was. Where tf do you see a mother that lets her daughter fulfill her dream. You're dodging the main points here. It's not a matter of opinion whether she was jealous or whatever, she wasn't proud of her daughter. You'd immediately recognize if she was just by the look on her face and if she motivates her daughter to go through.. saw any of that? No right? She doesn't need to confirm what she felt by word that's why an audience i there to JUDGE them from the way they project themselves.
@Savvi C you yourself can't even tell if she was proud. "she was PROBABLY" That to me tells that even you are uncertain about how she truly felt because it didn't come off as genuine. You only proved my point andthe rest of the people who have watched this and thought the same thing. It's not a matter of ideals either, it's about being genuine.
It’s not a healthy relationship. While they may love each other in someway, it’s still not healthy if the mother who’s supposed to be the one supporting is leaning on the daughter. But I think in the end the mother deserves a bit of credit, she did make the right choice in the end.
I get so frustrated when there's a group singing and not everyone in the group does a solo but one or two people in the group do. I just wanna hear your individual voice at some point in the song otherwise it just feels incomplete for me lol
@@LuisRamirez-en3bm I get that and there definitely is harmonization, but for me it's the same thing when it comes to dances and there's 7 dancers and only 4 get a "solo" or part in the course of the dance. It's more of a feeling of completion for me.
@@haileysmiley9177 thats the point, in dance one or two should get the solo and the other beings sync. Again if they want to stand out then they should go alone, is teamwork
Ppl are talking about how selfish it was for the first guy to ask for 33%. He is still a part of the band, just not the performance. As he said, he’s the songwriter and producer - a huge part of the band. It’s not like he’s mooching off of them :/
He did it for the team which is true friendship even though it would be hard to turn and say your gonna put your friends forward without you, when you've known them for a long time.
I can’t believe this mom. She can’t just be happy for her daughter. Instead she has to cry about why she can’t be apart of her group because she thinks she’s a good singer. But I am happy she let her daughter go through in the end. She deserves it.
The first group have my support all the way. The producer of the group has my full respect aswell for putting his pride aside and agreeing to let his two buddies perform while he works on the music they sing. Even if he's not on stage he's still as valuable as the other two singers/rappers. Also that just shows how strong their friendship is. The mother daughter duo on the other hand : the mum is a bit childish and quite selfish, to risk blowing a great singing opportunity for her daughter who has the talent to be a recording artist, just cos she wants to be in the spotlight too. It's almost the equivalent of parents putting their kids into pageants and child acting as a means to live a life of fame through their kids on top of boosting their own shallow egos.
That mother is just plain weird. She should have been happy for her daughter not run away sobbing like a kid. Its her daughters time now, she had her chance. That poor girl had to beg her mother to let her go and her mum will always make her feel guilt over it.
Patsy Hodge I know right! The mother was so intrusive and she gave me jealous and whiny vibes. She acted like a kid who doesn’t know how to lose. The fact that her daughter handled the situation better is embarrassing. The daughter is so understanding and for her mother to act like that.
They were a duo... They were together. Imagine if for example you had a dog and were doing pet trick with it and they were like: the dog can come but you can't because its cuter
guys calm down. It was out of love, she wanted to be up there with her daughter every step of the way. She just didn't want to be separated from her daughter. I also think a small part of it was fear. if her daughter was gonna fail or make a fool of her self, then that girl's mom wanted to go through that too, she didn't want her daughter to be embarrassed
Cheetah Drawz but part of parenthood is giving your children the chance when the opportunity rises. If the mother couldn’t sacrifice herself for her daughter’s life and maybe, an incredible career, i think it would be considered selfish.
@@cheetah2601 I understand from the whole parental view that she wanted to be with her daughter but I don't think it was out of embarrassment for her daughter more like she wanted the judges to see her nonexistent talent... and instead of letting her daughter thrive and possibly become more she was dragging her down because she couldn't get her own way.
but still she is a great singer, like both of them.. they should go apart each lanes as a soloists. big ups for mom letting her daughter getting the dream
The worst possible thing you can do is compare someone to their sibling. Especially when there was chairs available. That last guy should've gotten a seat and you could kinda see the guilt in the brothers eyes as he watched his bro leave. So sad. Screw u Louis 😑
In the twisters, that blonde girl with the long hair and the red lipstick was the real friend there. She smiled the whole time Chrissy sang and she actually looked happy when she went forward.
I agree that the mother wasn't perfect by a long shot, but she did make the decision to put her daughter through. I wish she was...well...more immediate with her response, but in the end, she came through.
Yeah she should have. But the fact she understood that she needed to say yes in the end is the important part. We all get things in our own time and she got it before it was too late for her daughter.
The mother should have just let the daughter go through. Like, her wishes and dreams should come before her own and I really dislike the fact she couldn't say yes, the daughter had to beg
Leah Berry I know. I think she was very disappointed at first but i would always want what’s best for my kid. If they have real talent of course I’d want them to go on.
As a mother who sings with a daughter that sings I’m so disgusted i would give my daughter the opportunity of her life . Stop being emotional and selfish
Why is no one talking about those two lovely brothers at the end? They are so wholesome, and it hurt so much watching the other brother leave the stage. Imagine their pain. Imagine HIS pain. I ended up in tears 😭
The first person who got split from their group, I felt so bad for him. His face just says that he’s trying not to cry, but he’s the producer and songwriter so I don’t think he’s kicked out of the trio.
Aww... Poor guy, the first man that got criticized is awfully sad. Imagine being in front of national television being called a third wheel without crying. *What* *a* *brave* *man.*
Feel bad for him but thats just the truth, he would just hold the other 2 back if continue as trio. But i still respect him tho he don't push his ego and let the other 2 continue, even he want 33% when he was so useless thats really smart choice and he can probably become their manager if the duo found succes that would be good
Yeah an I was like Gosh other girl you're selfish cause you definitely know if she say yes to the group you gonna get a yes from the judges. The other girl was like "do it, come on do it, just do it, it's your choice but do it" 🙄
You have to understand that the mom has the same dream as the daughter, that’s why she cried. Not because she was selfish, just because she wanted to achieve that goal as well
She didn't realise she was dragging her daughter down, when she finally realised she needs to let her child go out on her own, she just couldn't process it, because they are so close and they've been doing it together.
It's a shame she didn't take Sharon's idea of having them perform with the mother being the DJ doing some backup vocals, they might have gone further as a duo that way.
@Pitch Black It's not wrong for her to want it but her own desires shouldn't come at the expense of her daughter's happiness when her daughter wanted it so desperately. The mother already had a chance to pursue her dreams when she was young. Maybe she didn't succeed, but many people don't, the important part is that she had the opportunity to try, now it's her daughter's turn. It would have been really wrong if she had taken that away from her. Maybe the daughter could have been a little more understanding of her mother's feelings though. If I was in her position, I would have said something like, "I really really wanted us to go forward together, I would choose to stay as a duo if it was an option, but staying in the competition means everything to me and the only other option they've giving us is that we _both_ get eliminated, so isn't it better if at least one of us still has a chance." I don't blame her for how she reacted though.
I feel so bad for the first dude he was such a good sport and left for the better of his team.. they did not have to drag him down like that, poor man looked like he wanted to cry

The mum shouldn’t have been that hesitant she should’ve dropped out in the audition if she loved her daughter as much as she said she did

Meaning that she wanted to be with her Daughter all throughout the whole competition and she can't do that if she is just in the audience
She loved her soo much that she wanted to win it with her.

Are you kidding ? If the judges loved my daughter but hated me i would gladly sit down and let her shine😭🙌🏽 I can’t help but feel the mom was a bit jealous of her daughter & didn’t want her to do great without her in the picture .
Ikr, like I would love my child and respect them enough to step down and let them shine without me
Hey kind of an awkward question but will you play roblox with me I have no friends and would like someone to play a game with me
Sure
I would agree if the mom was noticeably bad, but I didn't think she was. They both needed work honestly. But I thought they were being a bit harsh on her considering the daughter had some bad parts. And also not a good song choice at all (the first one) in my opinion.
The mom was childish and needs to understand thats her daughter and she should support her
It’s ironic how the daughter was the mature one of the duo.
What a selfish mother

The fact that the daughter needed to calm the mum down is saying something.

The mom makes me so angry. She acts like such a baby. I mean her daughter is amazing why hold her back or even hesitate about sending her forward!
I know right! If I were the mom, I wouldn't even have to discuss it, i would just automatically say, "she's going forward" with ABSOLUTELY NO hesitation
LadyBug H true she deserves it and I would be proud
That happens when you have a huge ego and unrealistic expectations about yourself
ingnan yep

Hehe that was her brother lol
That mother was madly selfish. It was like she was using her daughter to achieve her unmet teenage dreams.
@Savvi C it wasnt because she was hurt by the comments, it was because she couldn't accept letting her daughter through without her.
It's not a matter of ideals either, it's about being genuine.
o my god the first guy is a legend he looks weak on the outside he’s SO STRONG on the inside

Hi brother!
Btw this is my new account so I’m THOMAS and AttackerWolf666 so the last thing that I said about the likes that was from Thomas and Hey SIS
If I auditioned with my son/daughter and the judges wanted me to step back I would. I'd be proud that my child got through, not jealous and bitter
The mom was acting like a spoiled kid and the daughter was acting like the mom, that was sad to see. It doesn't look like a healthy relationship
I mean I know that they love each other but the mom is acting like a coward who needs someone to hold her hand.
It’s not a healthy relationship. While they may love each other in someway, it’s still not healthy if the mother who’s supposed to be the one supporting is leaning on the daughter. But I think in the end the mother deserves a bit of credit, she did make the right choice in the end.
The mother let the daughter go forward
Just because the mother was having a hard time letting her go on her own, doesn’t mean it’s an unhealthy relationship.
they have a very healthy relationship, would you bring ur mom on x factor like that and let her sing with you like that??
I get so frustrated when there's a group singing and not everyone in the group does a solo but one or two people in the group do. I just wanna hear your individual voice at some point in the song otherwise it just feels incomplete for me lol
Ikr 😑😴🤣
You know harmonization is an important thing too. And that's the point of making a group, not necessarily to stand out individually
@@LuisRamirez-en3bm I get that and there definitely is harmonization, but for me it's the same thing when it comes to dances and there's 7 dancers and only 4 get a "solo" or part in the course of the dance. It's more of a feeling of completion for me.

But I see what you mean, I think it wasnt that the mom wasn't supporting her, she also was told No but her partner wasn't . =
The mother is so embarrassing. Almost causing her daughter to lose her chance just because she's selfish and wanted to live her dream through her.
I think it is just embarrassing and ridiculous. The mother was literally holding her daughter back,What kind of mum is that!
guys calm down.
Nixie Aesthete I agree that’s not what a mother does
@@cheetah2601 I understand from the whole parental view that she wanted to be with her daughter but I don't think it was out of embarrassment for her daughter more like she wanted the judges to see her nonexistent talent... and instead of letting her daughter thrive and possibly become more she was dragging her down because she couldn't get her own way.

Valerya Tabares Mid life crisis
