When we last saw Beth, she had just shot Rio as he was beating up Agent Turner. Now that he's out of the picture, she's ready to run the game and stay in control. The women take on seemingly innocent jobs - Beth in a stationary store, Ruby in a nail salon and Annie as a valet - each with a special purpose to aid them in their new criminal enterprise. What happens as they expand their operation will have a ripple effect with their families. Meanwhile, Stan's taken a job in security at a strip club and Dean is working sales at a spa company. From Executive Producer Jenna Bans ("Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal") comes the third season of this comedy-infused drama that mixes a little "Thelma & Louise" with a bit of "Breaking Bad." To be honest Beth and dean need to get a divorce their only hurting each other I mean beths cheated with rio deans cheated multiple times and they keep forgiving each other it’s painful

Beth acts big and bad when she’s with the girls and gets creative ideas but when she’s with Rio she loses her sense. She is foolish if she thinks everything will just go away if she gets rid of Rio. She doesn’t learn
I feel like Beth will never learn her lesson especially now. She thinks that because shes the "leader" of the group all of her ideas are the right ones and honestly its not.For goodness sake Ruby got shot among other things that's happened.

Courtney R I don’t think anything was supposed to happen at all this entire season. If you’re referring to the development of Rio and Beth’s chemistry then let me share my opinion why there’s a lack of it. Maybe their chemistry wasn’t supposed to evolve at all but viewers were so intent on them being together that the writers took that and switched it so where another season got renewed and that Brio ship supposedly ended. Just my opinion on this.
Nah Jenna Bans,the entire crew,Christina and Manny all decided to go with the BRIO chemistry thing after the 1st couple of episode of Season 1,and continued to follow through with it all the way till this season(Season 3).Jenna Bans said in the very beginning,before she started filming the show,she had no plans or intentions of them being a thing.Jenna Bans said she made a joke one day about how "it would be funny if Beth and Rio ended up wanting to be with each other",not even being serious about it happening.They just happened to have alot of chemistry when they would be in scenes together.All the crew said "you watch, Beth and Rio are going to end up hooking up" so they all ended up agreeing to making Beth and Rio a thing,and sticking with it.Jenna Bans said "it turned out way better than we thought it would,so we'll be sticking with it"

Seriously this season is a joke. Aside the Brio drama, why is Beth still with Dean? Someone who clearly undermined her abilities and who cheats on her constantly. Most of the fan base do not want Beth to be with Dean, so why are they pushing this storyline down our throats ? Also, they build this chemistry between Rio and Beth for 2 damn seasons. Rio sees Beth as an equal and tries to empower her (aside the toxic drama between the two) and now Season 3 is all about how Beth tries get rid of Rio, for what? Be powerful in the business and a puppy for Dean? What the hell?

Fans demanded a Brio relationship, but they killed it to keep the Death ship going because it's what THEY want. It's stupid, really.
I cringe every time he touches her. LOL I personally don't care if Dean remains in the show, I just don't want them together. It's boring watching them do the same song and dance over & over again. Couples like that are obviously better people apart. If they separated then maybe he would become more likable. Beth is a stronger person without him.

Bobateababy18 I feel like that was their plan all along at the beginning of season 2 while preparing for season 3. Majority of the people that watched this show only watching because of the Brio ship, including me. In season 2, they writers rlly developed their relationship and that’s what tuned people in more and that’s why their show got renewed. Maybe their initial plan wasn’t even to development the chemistry between these two but now that there IS another season I feel like their bent on destroying that relationship and mocking the viewers who shipped them. It’s frustrating.
I think that if instead of Beth pretending to be pregnant at the beginning of the season, if they had actually made her pregnant, it would have made for a better storyline. It also feels like a dropped ball that they never explored why Beth inserted herself into Rhea and Marcus’ lives after she thought she had killed Rio. Pretty sure it was just to be able to have some part of him still in her life. Also, I don’t think Beth actually meant to shoot that first bullet when she shot Rio. The second 2 bullets, yeah, she meant those ones, but I think it was just self preservation at that point because when she realized she shot him and saw the look on his face with him coming towards her, she thought he would kill her. I’m disappointed that instead of Beth getting Rio to see that she wasn’t actually trying to kill him, which would make a better segue into repairing their relationship, she is actually trying to have him murdered. HATE THIS. As for Dean, I think I’m one of the few people that actually like him. Probably because I love Matthew Lillard. He and Beth are NOT a good match though. They should just let them divorce and have him as the amicable ex-husband. As if Covid isn’t horrible enough, now we’ll be 5 episodes down from the 16 we were supposed to have, so you know the “finale” will be completely unfulfilling. I swear, if the show ends on a non-ending then doesn’t get renewed, I will have a meltdown. I freaking hate when shows do that!
They're not trying to destroy Brio. Brio was never actually i intended to be a thing. How their relationship is now is needed for the show. Beth and the girls are growing into the crime world now that Rio isn't shielding them from them.
Yes it's frustrating to see Beth and Dean together but it's needed. Because that's usually how many marriages work. There's no love between them, from Beth side. She dosen't care. And we have seen how Dean is about Beth and Rio. Implying that it's not just business between them. The angst is good.

What happened to this show? Most of what has happened in season 3 already happened in the previous 2 seasons... We just keep going around in circles. Beth had so much more confidence last season, where did that go? She's back to letting everyone walk all over her. Now they're just making one mistake after another and we always know what the outcome will be. They're smarter than that. I was really hoping Rio would end up working with or for the girls. Together they each bring something to the table & that would've been wild to see them working together on the same team. They need each other. For me, everything went bad in the season 2 finale, it took all the fun out of the show. I'm now struggling to watch it and don't think I'll make it to season 4 if there is one. It doesn't feel like the writers have a clear direction for the show. They've created some of the most intriguing characters, but not doing them justice. I feel disappointed, but maybe that's just me.

Me too, This season has been so confusing, Also Annie side story is boring, when in season 1 & 2 she was on fire. Ruby for me still the strong character with her family issues.
I still haven't watched the last 2 episodes I recorded whereas last season I watched every show on the day it aired. I knew when Beth shot Rio the whole dynamic of the show was shifting into a new direction. I wish the producers and writers of the show would've given us one more season of Brio before shooting Rio and changing everything we loved about the show.

I know most fans, including me, want BRIO love scenes again but I think it takes time if the plot is considered. In Rio’s POV, He got three shots from someone he liked and even before that he kinda rejected several times (like Beth blocked him, said goodbye and gave money after sex) so he needs time to forgive and trust her again. It would be very weird and hard to understand them if Brio happens so quickly. So let’s be patient and hope the writer develops their relationship!

He used the gun as leverage. She touched the gun but he picked up with chopsticks (with his saliva in the barrel 🤦🏽♀️) . If she ever decided to go against him again, expose the business, take it from him, etc, he will frame her for murder. Her prints are all over it. Why don't Beth think about that?
I don't think Rio and Beth’s ”relationship” was meant to last. There has to be some switch up somewhere, or else it gets to predictable and stale. Infatuation and attraction happen, it doesn't mean they'll lead to love and a happily ever after. It's just business at this point.

This season only has 11 episodes right? So we are two weeks from the end, and where are we? I can only assume the season finale is going to have a bunch of convenient things happen and probably flashbacks to tie things together and a cliffhanger. Great.

The show was supposed to have 16 episodes originally. But the virus got production shut down early so now there is only 11. Which sucks because people are going to complain about the finale without stopping to realize that it wasn’t the original finale and isn’t the fault of anybody’s other than the virus.

I did read that they had added three additional episodes to the original 13 but then I saw that it was 11. So they need to let people know for when the season ends in episode 11 and everyone is asking wtf is going on.

Guys you know what it is i know it sucks that it went like this between beth and rio but you must realize that it must take a long time before they can live up to their feelings towards each other by that I mean that if they already do it now where make that series is already a bit over they have to make it go in circles oh yes one more thing beth is the problem that in season 3 rio is so cold because he really has feelings for her 2x10 she just used him for lust and says it's over and stops like it's nothing she also doesn't know what she wants but 1 thing he can be a heartless gangsterboy but somewhere he just has feelings too what he does is not like flowers and all that but that just comes because of beth he does like this THEY JUST NEED TO ADMIT THEIR FEELINGS TO EACH OTHER but they can't because it's complicated and the series has to take longer that's why it takes so long i hope in s4 some more will happen between them and more rio beth will and show but hey step by step they will get there it just needs some time dayumm i wrote a whole story hahaha

A lot of y’all are saying “but we want brio!” But it’s like, how exactly do y’all expect them to be back to normal after what happened on the season 2 finale? Lmao and I know many of y’all are unsatisfied with the way things for between brio this season, but this is only being realistic. We need the angst, the anger, and the grudges so then later all their feelings will unravel on season 4. This is basically what I consider to be a typical love-hate story, and in my opinion, I like the way things are with brio. I don’t think they should become an actual couple, because then it would take away the excitement of the the little fling that they got going on. Besides, I feel like they’re destined to remain as nothing more than business partners who hook up from time to time anyways
