For anyone fed up with reincarnating - the game was recently datamined and a lot of passwords have been found. th-cam.com/video/Ye0MezzpIXs/w-d-xo.html this video tells you how to enter them and the description has a list of monsters and their passwords, including passwords for Jigen Bakudan, Labyrinth Tank, Blue Eyes White Dragon, Beastly Mirror Ritual, Puppet Ritual, Commencement Dance, etc. etc.
I don't understand why I can't use passwords on Redux. I just want a couple zombie monsters like Pumpking King of the Ghosts and Mammoth Graveyard. I sided with Kaiba so I can have a better time playing the Yugi route on my next run, but I genuinely don't know where to go fo these cards and others such as Patrician of Darkness and Vampire Lord.
We had about six memory cards at one time, I don't know where they all went. I was able to keep my main one, though, with my DOTR file on, so that's a plus.
If I understood this right, you don't actually need 3 memory cards right. Why not just clone the save onto the second memory card, then keep it in slot 2 until you get a successful reincarnation and trade to it, then clone it again and repeat?
you can, just the method with three is faster and more smooth if youre doing it repeatedly at the one instance. you can keep a memory card in the 2nd slot then just pull out the first and replace it with the fresh save every time you load from the menu
Great tutorial! Quick question, for cards that you get via passwords, are you able to reincarnate cards to get multiple copies of them (such as magician of faith, mimicat, mirror wall, aqua dragon, etc)?
With all due respect, anyone using an emulator should have figured that out and I assume using savestates to reincarnate on emulator is common sense. This video/method is directed at people playing the game on a console
i want to try this trick but i cant understand what u say, bc i cant speak in English :( if you put subtitle in your video it would be great for people like me who cant understand English :)
the 1v1s to myself would be pointless to commentate seeing as its always improvised. try some of my ritual videos, they have commentated duels against the ai
Clovis senpai it's interesting watching commentary of someone who's very good at the game as opposed to an LP from someone who, while a big youtuber, isn't great at it (it's a very niche game, needs a lot of work for mastery)
yeah i am really bothered by most peoples lets play of the game. i cant judge casual players that dont know better but theres so much effort involved. it takes an hour to upload a 10 minute video and only a few people are gona watch it

what you should do for the password cards is use them on a new save file on a different memory card, then trade them over
