The 250L !!!! Hype!! Love the white plastics. Been thinking for a while of converting my plastics to all white and I think this is my sign!!! For now, the wheelie videos will have to do, but def plan on getting a set from bikerbitz soon. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's excited to see the build video for this💪💪
Loving the tough guy no helmet life... Never know when there could be a girl in the middle of the desert, don't want them to see you with a helmet on lol
I got separated couple times before. As soon as ya think that happens, shut the bike off and listen for your group, if ya can't hear than look for their tracks, if neither works get to higher ground and look for them/dust trails. All else fails go back to where ya last seen them, they'll come back if they care about ya
I throw a small coating of axle grease on the tubes. Helps with install and also helps prevent pinch flats. The grease helps keep the tube slick so it has a harder time getting pinched. Try pinching the tube with your fingers after the tube is covered in grease and you'll see what I mean. Get that baby powder outta here and replace it with grease. Like you said, rim locks help too.
New Subscriber ! We have Desert riding mainly in Central Australia, though is along way from the subtropical rainforest trails of Home here. You did well to keep your composer, during lost. Is a good idea to take note of the direction of the Sun before heading out.
I have been lost in the mountains where I have never been before and eventually found my way back, maybe 40 degrees in June (no jacket), going over the Continental Divide around 11 pm. Haven't been lost/stranded in a desert so far.
HD tubes and slime for sure. I'm in New Mexico, be cautious of black spots in the sand too, where a fire was with a pallet or something where glass is in the sand.
@@Dirtguy4 I'm in Albuquerque too. Just south of the airport is Montessa, up by Tijeras is Cedro Peak for rocky single track, West of Rio Rancho, find southern and follow till the road ends and its wide open, you can do 60 mile loops out there. There's a lot more but those are the spots closest to town.
Where at in Arizona is this? I am from Phoenix and ride all over AZ ... It doesn't look familiar ... I just did some riding in the Saguaro Lake, AZ area over the weekend ...
Man this could’ve ended really badly…Thankfully he made it out ok. He should have never gone out into the desert without any hydration, that’s just irresponsible.
TANNER ,ITS EASY TO SEE THA YOU ARE A GOOD RIDER AND THAT YOU HAVE A GOOD INCOME ,I THINK YOU WOULD HAVE MUCH MORE FUN ON A HUSKY 501.BUT ALEXIS WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO KEEP YOU IN SIGHT.YOUR VIDEOS ARE GREAT
Where we can ride is uber rocky and I always double up tubes. Poor man's mouse\bibs\tubeless. Can't say I've ever got a flat while doing it. I feel confident running 10psi and I am normally pretty conservative in that regard. Screw unsprung weight.
Hey yo adv on that 250l I trried to put my muffler cover on it never worked I removed that white storage box on mine like you did youres did you have to clean anything else up?
Tell those tear drop builders to put 15"wheels and tirers on with the independent torsion bar suspension and it will travel a lot smoother. A little more weight would help also.
It seems like you’re always wearing low profile riding pants. I’m brand new to riding dirt bikes and just want to wear a full jersey. What riding pants do you usually wear or recommend?
I usually just wear normal pants and knee pads that way you have pockets. Moto pants really don't do a whole lot other than minimal hip padding. For street riding though something kevlar is definitely recommended I normally wear Duluth pants which are made of firehose material. To each is own, for me it is always finding a balance between comfort / protection, we always take a risk regardless of what we are wearing. Cheers!
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming" 🤣🤣 Glad he made it back before dark! Thanks for sharing👍
I absolutely love your safety first mentality think of what can hurt you before it does and run with the pack stay blessed bud

Haha Ethan is the man. Does have a good head of hair though, I have to hide my receding hairline.
@@AdventureDaily hell no man, if it starts to fall out, shave the rest. It’ll be the no maintenance look. Cheers from back in Oh ❄️🙄
@@deborahchesser7375 also eliminates helmet hair don't ask me how I know that 😆

Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great edit. Glad it all worked out. Scary gettin lost out there!

Hey Mate, would love to go riding with you if you are still in AZ. I am in W-burg most weekend and enjoy Vulture Mine

Glad every thing worked out! That can be some scary stuff!

Folding jack would need to be the biggest upgrade on the trailer along with a softer suspension.

I’m in the Albuquerque area and I’m picking up a 300L in a couple weeks do you have any areas you recommend?

Loved the ladino (Spanish jewish dialect) song you introduced in your video
Thank you for noticing! It feels good to change it up once in a while I’m glad you enjoyed it.🙌🏻
So many doggos
Staying on the road for one helps people to find you,two stay in a group always and be prepared, have a backup plan,

Updated Mic/GoPro set up video? I like how you just were able to pop the rig on another helmet.
Second this! i gotta know
Good thing they weren't hauling eggs in that trailer.
Might have been a few broken…

Oh man what a trip
Some people have no sense of direction. Good thing everything turned out okay.
Laughing so hard at blackhawk out there with no gps pins, no water, no luck, and overheating to top it off🤣🤣🤣
Definition of what NOT to do😂
I think he now remembers why he stopped riding dirt bikes.🤔
awesome videos i would be really sketched about getting lost out there.
you and bakerxderek should get together and do a vlog
I'd love to!
How’s the tusk tank bag? Do you find it too big?
One of my favorite motorcycle accessories I’ve ever had, it is the perfect size for this bike.
Yikes…back to the drawing board with that big toaster on wheels.
Yeah didn't look or hold up great lol

Do you just cut the valve stem off of the liner tube?
@@AdventureDaily yeah cut the tube down the inside diameter of the tube and remove stem. Doesn't have to be pretty.
Let's goooooooooooooooooooo
👊🏻👊🏻
Are you still running the Tusk DSport tires on the 300l? If so how are they holding up?

I'd go with independent trailing arms on it. That way you won't have as much scrub when it compresses. That will protect the sidewalls.

How about buying a helium balloon and couple hundred yards of fishing line…..secure it to base camp so you know which direction it is if you get lost.
🤣 now that's an idea!!
Never been this early before 😅
There we go🙌🏻
2:31 what helmet is that?
Scorpion Exo AT950🔥
gets lost and decided to go off trail???? Not smart
Right lmao. Like how did that sound like a bright idea?😂
Pls tell me you did not left your dog unattended, attached to a trailer in the desert 😳
We were gone for 2 hours.. 60 degrees in the shade, had plenty of water and people to look after him.
Good riders "stick together" so this shit doesn't happen.
Unless you both get lost together 😅
Please don't go off trail. It's dumb shit like this that gets areas closed to dirt bikers.
Funny though cuz he vlogs better than you. Go Blackhawk.
