actually am kind of sad, that no relative take care of the house and let strangers find their way in her life memories !
Right like the kitchen still got food and spices everywhere
I was also thinking this is not a hoarders house, you can tell someone lived there many years. I find it sad that no family could come in & take things over, what a cute place.😊
And tasteful posessions, we’d want ‘em, but probably start by selling what is marked..
If you look at TuckerUpper’s channel, there was a lot more stuff in that house. Also, there were other people who had gone over the house long before taco stacks got there.

I never knew that people can live this way until I started watching these videos. I clean up my apartment every day. I am disabled 51 years old and clean up every day.

Yeah he left a ton of stuff behind, including stuff way more valuable than what he brought home.
Loved this. I wanted to jump into the tube and transport myself over there, so exciting exploring a house like that. I've done a few deceased estates, though not full clean outs, I was lucky to get first look and omg one guy was a collector and had a whole shed full of cool stuff. I spent some money that day, then auctioned it all off. Sad though, another one I did, the house was exactly as the elderly couple had left it, it was really emotional for me when I got near their recliner chairs in the living room, crossword puzzles, medications etc., I was very mindful of the delicate nature of the situation and very respectful, not easy when you can still feel the deceased presence in the house. But anyway, thank you for sharing this and waves to Tucker Upper and Mrs Tucker Upper (I assume lol). Cool that you got to meet, nice one 👍
Mom died January 2019 and we just did the clear house and sell belongings bit. House closes next week. This is hard for me to watch.
Reminds me of the time my brother and I cleared my Grandma's house in Abington, PA. She lived there since 1937 and accumulated a lot of stuff. Seeing the money in the jar made me smile. My Grandma would stick money in different places to make sure she had cash when she needed it. We found almost $300 in cash throughout her house.
This is a kooky trait of lots of grandma's... I'm pretty sure it's remnants of having lived through the great depression. I've found cash hidden inside of picture frames ( behind the photo) and Even heard stories about baking money inside loaves of bread and stashing them in the freezer!
nkotb 82 I heard putting money in the freezer for long periods would turn it to mush . A friend of mine had a aunt that did it and when she went to take it out and thaw it nothing but mush was left.

Wonderful furniture! The tub, so much great stuff! I would’ve rented a truck lol. All white Pyrex bowls went on a sunbeam mixer w stand.
It makes me so mad when I see how he treats stuff this is someone years of keeping and he has no respect for it nor taking care not to damage it more.

That must have been a gorgeous home in it's day. some started trashing the place to bad. lots of old kitchen and other cleaning stuff. Love the rug beater, crocker is my thing. Clean the butcher block with vinegar and baking soda then you can use bleach. Great pick

I watched when they got those houses, this is crazy seeing some of things I wondered about example my favorite thing in entire series butchet block!!! It was huge, carved and made out of one tree had to be 100yrs. old. I fell in love with that piece! Did it clean up well and sell right away? You guys were way cool together loved seeing this collaboration for both of you. The clean outs esp. horder houses are the most watched videos on channels even in Canada.
So fun to watch and revisit that property with all 3 of you.❤

Beautiful house but terrible location. As I'm typing this I haven't finished watching the whole video. Up in the attic that box with toy cars that black small box you picked up was an Atari 8-bit computer game and then there's some old IBM PC stuff. Don't throw that stuff away! Collectors and people like LGR, The 8-Bit Guy, Metal Jesus and others are into all that. That's stuff to put on Ebay.

Omg this brought back memories! My friend and i used to buy foreclosures and flip them and when we started we did all of the labor ourselves.. kudos to them and you for helping out!! It's a nasty labor intensive business for sure!! Was thankful when we started making money to hire stuff done. Lol

Oh wow, I want those antique china cabinets when you first walked in! The tall lamp in the living room... very art nouveau! This house had a lot more stuff like that when they first went there. My favorite type of style. Going through a house exploring like that is such a fun thing to do!!
