Amazing coastline but my heart was in my mouth watching this . I kept imagining you rolling off that cliff edge asleep in the middle of night or stumbling off if you needed a pee!!!

Soon as I saw that I thought it was Tintagel. Small beach with 'Merlins Cave' at the bottom. I have been along that cliff edge. A nice walk. Wouldn't want to camp there though. Too windy. Greetings from a Brit turned American all the way from Mississippi.

Another great video. Shows that even a lumpy cliff edge can be home for a night. I like the look of the hex peak. Like a lightweight Lavvu alternative.

Andy Try pepper combe bay it the most remote part of the north Devon coast and has lots of dry driftwood and the estate has a fire pit there. Enough room for 2 small tents and view is incredible also if you don't fancy wild camping there the national trust has a basic bothy with a sea view you can rent out. I really recommend you checking that out. I done few videos there. Also you can wild camp up on valley the rocks that was on your video no problems. Wild camp the bit on the otherside from the campsite. Richard

Absolutely stunning to watch. Beautiful part of the UK only many of us wish to camp by. I have to say your editing and videography has come along so much its now becoming professional TH-cam uploader quality. Personally i was very impressed by this upload and i enjoyed it 100 percent. When I used to travel (far more than I do now), I would sometimes wake up not knowing where I was "this time". I sometimes thought I was in one location but I was in another. Not only am I terrified of heights, but I would be afraid I might wake up and walk in the wrong direction, and over the cliff, you go! Aren't you ever concerned about pitching your tent so close to certain death?
haha, I now what you mean :p nah, it wasn't as high as it seemed on that side.. I wouldn't do anything truly dangerous.. im not that brave, or stupid.. I hope haha

I was very lucky with the spot and the weather.. couldn't have asked for more (maybe more time haha) I think rolling of the cliff is more something you'd do to just to show what not to do if you roll off in to the sea 😂
Watching for inspiration as I'm off for an overnight coastal camp in East Sussex tomorrow. Don't think I'm going to be as lucky with the weather though!

@@KentSurvival I was surprised tbh. Thought it was going to be a cold one and took extra layers and a wool blanket, but didn't need them. Wind from the South so I guess that's some warm air blowing up.
I really think you would be a good dog owner. I am planning to go camping with my 2 nutbag jack russels and to go to the beach a bit too. I can't wait. If you got a dog to enjoy time with I believe you would have more fun.
haha, I really wouldn't, I like nice relaxing cats.. dogs are too noisy and stressful.

Do be cautious... ocean cliffs have a nasty habit of failing. People DO get WAY too close for their own good some times.

You might use sea water to warm up the packed food you have , salted water is supposed to boil at a lower temperature ... Why not sleep on a beach ? 🏖️⛱️⛺🌅🍚🍫

id have to think about it. I think id enjoy it for a week or 2 but now they last months and just sit in a shelter miserable lol

I walked and wild camped the entire coastal path of Devon and Cornwall one summer in the 1990's, started out at Redruth .
Did you ever stop on the path at St. Just for a day or so ? Maybe bartered a piece of cake for a couple of joints?

Hey, Andrew :) This was a great vid, thanks soooo much! I´d visited St. Nectan's Glen in 2013 at arround christmas time. It´s such a magical place. Druids do visit the Nectan falls for ages and if you are aware of the surroundings on the walk path, you might catch a glimpse of fairies too. I´ve left a token for my late dad at the falls, as many do for their loved ones there aswell. Looking at those offerings and memorials it´s sure a humble site to wittness. Did you make a wish request while being there? Might come true...mine´s did ;)
Isn´t the coast line of Cornwall just breathtaking? I would love to visit it again...only time will tell.

Hey, thanks you.. I do love the Cornish coast line, I really wish I lived closer.. may have to work on that! I didn't spend nearly as much time as I would have liked in each location as it was such a jam packed day and needed to get to the camp spot before dark (sod walking the cliffs at night haha). Im definitely going to revisit these places with more time in the future, though that may be off camera.

Andy that is such an incredible spot there with the cliffs and the ocean. We definitely don't have that in Florida. You sure did have a nice walk about going over to the falls it was amazing how it went under the rock formation. I sure cound not have slept where you did I toss around to much when I sleep I probably would have gone over the edge. You do such beautiful adventures and I really enjoy watching them. Thank you Andy.
haha, I wasn't side on from the cliff so I wasn't too worried about falling over :p It is a beautiful county and I can't wait to return.. Florida has its own beauty for sure.. id take more precautions for gators though :p

love cornwall vist it four times a year perranporth my favorite place have come to know lots of places over the last 25yrs consider my self pretty lucky to have spent time there my familly were involved in pirate smuggling back as far as the 17th century loeely sceanary like all the piles of rocks the waterfall is awesome thats quite a slope to pitch a tent hope the wind dosent get up chillie con carne my favorite

Some of these spots are eerily beautiful. Love it! Great video Andy. I especially enjoyed the old mill ruins and big waterfall.

Great video Andy and some great shots of the clear turquoise waters of the north coast of Cornwall. I know this area very well and have also enjoyed visiting the beautiful and spiritual Saint Nectan's Glen/Fall on a few occasions. As always I look forward to your next adventure mate. 👍
The first time I looked through a night vision scope at the night sky I was blown away. There were so many stars you couldn’t hardly see any separation of the night sky between them. AWESOME!
