- The Marvel Cinematic Universe has delivered us tons of quality content over the years but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some great deleted scenes on the cutting room floor! These movie moments would have changed everything, so let’s take a look at what our favorite fictional world could have been like if they were included. Tony Stark almost had a touching reunion with his daughter Morgan Stark during Avengers: Endgame, and he nearly received a touching tribute from his fellow heroes. Nick Fury could have mentioned the X-Men and Spider-Man in the early days of the MCU, and he almost lost his life to Corvus Glaive. Janet van Dyne might have revealed some exciting info about the Quantum Realm. Age of Ultron could have been the first time we saw Captain Marvel and we came so close to not losing Quicksilver. Although the current state of the Kree Supreme Intelligence is unknown, Yon Rogg was supposed to have one last confrontation. One frequent complaint of Infinity War was that we were stuck with Bruce Banner for most of it, but we very nearly got to see the Incredible Hulk let loose during a very important battle.

I think the producers were going to introduce X men after the fantastic 4 and maybe they'll use that quick silver. I'm not 100% certain but it would be cool. It also would've been cool if this quick silver did live

Between the 1st Avengers, Infinity War and Endgame, exactly which one is inferior to Age of Ultron? He didn't say it's everyone's least favourite MCU movie, just out of the 4 Avengers.

@@plipplopproductions4347 endgame sucked, it was too long, the element of time travel caused more problems than solutions, they had Spiderman, who is STILL marvel's biggest and most recognizable character(talking all of marvel, not the movies) have to be saved by a wall of regular vagina havers, and 2 Super Vaginas while he literally laid back on a rock, it was just garbage, they had Tony get a noble death, then 2 years later RDJ realizes he doesnt have a career, and in talks to come back, ditto for Evans, Endgame was just trash. There were about 300 ppl in the theater when I went to see it, and we all left with a "meh" feeling. No one was hyped or jacked coming out the theater, and it wasnt a somber "holy shit" like IW's ending. It was literally "meh"

Disney wants to leave some more opportunity for more Marvel and time travel always causes problems. Also, Spider-Man is a good character, not a very powerful character, you know what I'm saying? Like, in the MCU, he was way out of his comfort zone, and he held his own for as long as he reasonably could, and then got hit by a space missile. You're upset a bunch of women saved him? It's fan service! Marvel loves doing fan service! It's not a new thing! Also, it's pretty bold of you to assume that RDJ and Chris Evans aren't going to have careers two years later. As for your theater's reaction? I have no idea what to say to that, I went and saw that movie three times, and every single time nobody was freaking out or anything as they left, sure, but it was more, I don't know what to call it, acceptance? I don't know, but it sure was an amazing feeling.
I would probably say that wuicksilvers death wasn't pointless as when he died wanda's powers magnified quite significantly and encouraged her to kill Ultron and avenge her brother therefore killing ultron

One thing I'm gonna say is. The "Take a knee" deleted scene would've been so good. Maybe to some people, it'd be redundant but there is a solid difference between that scene and the funeral scene. In that deleted scene, they weren't grieving or mourning. They all found the strength to honor their fallen comrade on the battlefield, they honor what and who Tony was. A hero, and a defender of Earth. The movies always say that Tony and Iron Man are one and the same, and I agree with that, but in that scene, they honored the hero, Iron Man. In the funeral scene, they honor a husband, father, and friend, Tony Stark. I guarantee that if that scene was put in, people would've cried even more than they already did, hell, I'm tearing up writing this.

I still feel like the mass kneel and the funeral scene could have coexisted. One scene shows the entire MCU effectively brought to its knees by the weight of that sacrifice, while the other shows it standing back up, taking the steps necessary to close the old chapter and begin moving forward.

I don't know if we /needed/ the kneeling scene but we definitely didn't need hulk dabbing so I'd've prefered one more scene to cry about

Geez, that's a great point about fury...who knows how long Talos has been impersonating him....you gotta figure the Fury in Winter Soldier was the real one, but everything after than, it could be reasonable to assume its Talos, especially with Shield falling and Fury probably wanting to move forward with SWORD

There is a theory that Talos has been impersonating Fury since Age of Ultron. In Captain Marvel movie he reveals that if a sandwich is cut diagonally he can't eat it. Yet in a scene where the Avengers meet at Bartons house , fury is seen eating a sandwich cut diagonally....#theory
the moment where the alien cat scratched Fury's eye. without that scene, hydra would have launched the aircraft carriers successfully, and eliminated all avengers.

As I've heard it, the quick demise of Quicksilver was the result of Marvel and Fox sniping at each other. Remember that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are two characters on a very short list that were fair game both for Marvel (Avengers) and Fox (X-Men), and that X-Men had a movie that came out around the same time that also had a Quicksilver.
Fox didn't originally intend to have Quicksilver in their movie--they added him after hearing that Marvel had him in theirs. Probably, they worried that if they didn't add their own version of Quicksilver immediately, that might lose the chance to add one later. And he ended up being one of the better parts of that movie.
When Marvel learned that Fox had added Quicksilver, they rewrote their ending to kill their Quicksilver off. I'm not clear on their motivation. I've heard it was an FU to Fox, but I don't see how it operates as one successfully.
Ultimately, I'm perfectly happy with how both cinematic universes made use of their Quicksilvers. I am personally far more annoyed by the fact that Scarlet Witch had such a broad array of powers in Ultron (and backed up by the comics) that she somehow never has in any subsequent movie. Forever after, she's just a strong telekinetic. Which is nice and all, but lame compared to who this character really is!

Killing Quicksilver was just ineffective. He wasn't around long enough for anyone to even realise who he was in that film. He just feels like a plot device rather than a character

I would liked seeing #10 still I mean seeing Thor prince of Asgard and King T'challa kneel to Tony would have added such a strong weight on the respect the heroes had for him and what he did. Black Panther especially being just how proud he is of a character he would not kneel to just anyone and that would have had such an added weight to the level of respect Iron Man earned.

Well, while some other movies aren't cannon, the game had Miles be Spiderman as well as Peter, making them a duo in crime-fighting
What you're forgetting is Miles, like Peter, is extremely smart and scientifically inclined. Miles probably would have been able to reverse engineer Peter's webs.

They shouldn’t have killed quick silver he could have had his own movies and learned how to go faster like the X-Men apocalypse one and he could have been a huge asset to the avengers but I guess we’ll never know and it would be nice to have a speedster in the MCU to kick the shit out of D.C’s flash lol
He might come back somehow, if I remember correctly from news around that time one of the reasons why MCU's Pietro got killed was because the Fox version was so liked by the audience they decided to not compete. Now between Wanda's powers and the introduction of a multiverse maybe they can figure out a way to bring him back.

OgBigNut Not the Ezra Miller version he seemed really slow compared to Grant Gustin’s version of flash and Evan Peters version of quick silver but I will admit Grant Gustin is the fastest but D.C is using Ezra so Evan’s quick silver would run circles around that flash no problem just from what I’ve seen in the movies quick silver would win

The kneeling scene would have been so much more impactful than the funeral scene. Pair that with Katherine Langford's scene, it would have way more powerful than the funeral scene m
I do wish they had kept the 'take a knee' scene in. I've seen the whole scene and it is just a beautiful moment. I mean you have a wizard, a king, a god, and a Captain all kneeling before a man. It just is incredible.

Captain Marvel was delayed because the Captain Marvel Comics are some of the least popular in all of MCU history. They had to wait until they cemented the Universe, Characters, Lore, and Fanbase before they took a giant shit on it.

Although Marvel won’t admit it, they killed Quicksilver off because of Fox having already used the character and planning on using him for their future films. It would probably confuse fans to have 2 Quicksilver too, since The Scarlet Witch didn’t appear in any X-men film, she lived.

I haven't seen anything later then civil war (typed in march 2021) so I've got alot to catch up on, I've seen every spolier thou so don't worry about that, I have a question;
The Thanos snap removed half of life, was that random, because when smart hulk snapped everyone back it seemed a whole lot of warriors emmerged from those portals and no normal people (imagine being snapped back in the middle of that) were there?
and then were the other half equivalent of all those powered warriors that should have been left behind, why ain't they fighting?
Or is it a case of that scene with the huge portals and armies emmerging to fight Thanos along side Cap is not the actual moment they got snapped back, cos if it is then it must have been a choice to snap away heros by Thanos, so half of all life are heros?

But he could have grabbed them both and ran with them or did anything else to stop the bullets and or save them

can't he run so fast time is extremely slow so can't he just move the bullets? Bullets are lethal because of speed and how sharp they are so he could move them or turn them around

I never watched Captain Marvel's movie, and I'm kind of proud of it.
It was the only movie from the Infinity Saga I didn't see,until last night. Wasn't great,just ok.
The Miles Morales scene was probably cut because if it was confirmed that he was in that universe, then it would basically show that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man dies at some point.
Which, he did get blipped and was gone for the five years. It would have been cool if they had Miles become spirderman during that time and we could see what happens when Peter came back.

I tend to agree with the editors on deleted scenes. Usually, the deleted scene would slow the movie down, add stuff which wasn't necessary, or convey a message that would be a problem.
