First saw them in 1981, then again in 1982 at Hammersmith, finally at Wembley in 1983. By then, they were getting too big and it started to lose the sound I really liked. The synths were being drowned out with other instruments. I've not seen them since and probably wouldn't again. In saying that, I was so into their first two albums and still play them to this very day. The very early 1980's were great days with many new sounds and styles coming to the fore. It was the last big phase of music that had these ingredients. It's now more than 40 years ago. Hard to believe.
