Never thought this will be one of my most watched videos. :) I was (and am) still going through a phase and though why not make a video that represents it.
Do you all know what would make an intense moment in one of the two upcoming volumes? Either in vol 13 or 14, Hachiman gets into an argument with his father, & Mr.Hikigaya ends up getting lectured by his own son who shames him for not only his, but also Hachiman's mother's parenting, & his son would admit to his dad, that he & his wife are one of the nasty reasons for the person that their son turned out to be while growing up. Hachiman would tell his dad that sometimes he wondered if he's was actually their son at all because of how they always prefer Komachi over him. Just imagine Hachiman lashing out on his father even shouting at the things that Hachiman never had like celebrations for his birthday like they always do for his sister. Plus imagine Hachiman telling his father that as a father, he was supposed to be an important male role model who would've guide him to a positive way in life, be a young man's true dad. Hachiman would then say that he would never treat nor especially neglect his kids especially his future son the same way that his parents do because that's what bad parenting is. Hachiman also tells his dad that the parent who fails him the most is his dad, & that Mr.Hikigaya should be ashamed to himself & for the mom. So what would your reaction be when reading Hachiman owning his own father with his feelings & harsh truths? Imagine seeing an LN image of Hachiman with a furious look on his face & the look in his eyes would scare the shit out of anyone, it'd be a look warning people to never get on Hachiman's bad side like seriously unless you want to die! This Hachiman & father argument should be animated too. Also, imagine at the end, we'd see Hachiman walking away by passing by his father who becomes slowly crushed after being brutally lectured by his own son. Mr.Hikigaya: "Hachiman...son...I'm really sorry." (He slowly sobs) Hachiman: "Yeah, I know you are, but....so am I." (He'd have small tears in his eyes while saying "so am I") Hachiman would probably maybe end up destroying his dad's self-esteem, one more thing, imagine Mr.Hikigaya being very glad that his wife wasn't the one being brutally lectured by their son & face his intense anger, otherwise she would've easily been heartbroken, get her spirit broken & start crying her eyes out for getting told the harsh truths of not raising Hachiman the way that they always do with Komachi.

imo hachiman having rotten eyes made him improve....if his dad had raised him well he would have been some typical riajuu....he had rotten eyes and through that he understood reality 'almost' well ..'almost' helped many people..now through all this he analyzed his actions which led him to become the best mc!
in my case my parents never gave much time in parenting me..they did for my elder sister tho...i was a nuisance for everyone in middle school but all this led to analyzing them well and becoming better...infact being alone due to all this allowed me to understnd 'reality' well...to know that i have never been wrong...just they human beings were fake
Fact is, the Loner would never win, they are loser from the outside of human history. I hate yo say that as truth. Even the most genius of people, need others in giving perspective. HOWEVER. There's no rule that say Loner are weak. In fact, they are the strongest of em all. They gives so shit on what the world throws at them. They trampled everything and leaves scars nowhere but within their own very heart. Everyone hate that kind of power. They see loner as freaks, as an enemy. So the world and society created what would be the worst kind of atmosphere where loner could live. Eventualy they falls, each of them. One by one. No one would remember their deeds or achievement. They're loners afterall. But they makes freak into a much more monsteous existances, but still, the loner could stand still. Loner display a pure raw strength. Because even lions and wolves know about this. To be respected, Lion/Wolf cub have to owned their own pact. But to make a pact, the cub eventualy need to challenge the Kings. And to do so, they became Lone Wolf. Which also represent to "Future Alpha". Thats why human mocks animal like wolf with hierarchy of brutality. Human afraid of being weak, of being alone.
I know this is a dumb and unnecessary question, but is Hachiman still a loner? Again, I know this is a dumb question but ever since season 2 he is alot more sociable and spend most of it's time with Yui, Yukinon etc. Thank you.
He is having fun but there are times in every people's life when there are those guys who you like but you are not that interested in calling them out or talking to them but when it happens it's kinda good, for Hikigaya he is having fun but he probably wouldn't call Yukinoshira nor Yui to hang out, only with reasons, but I don't read the Light Novel only saw the anime (but I really want to read it xd) around the end of S2 he does have some people he might consider friends, or close as friends but I still can't imagine him not being a loner, just more open minded to things in general but still rejecting if he decides to

Well, Hikigaya probably won't do anything crazy that will change his character but only to evolve in personality maybe :)
i am praying that oregairu 13 or 12.5 may launch this year...i am waiting from so many months...novel is far more better than anime...please pray humans...

And when hikky let Hayama's group to be intact(supporting superficiality), yukino noticed that he self sacrificed himself just to maintain the status quo of that group and when he said he has lost his convictions and certain someone, then he was implying that he has lost yukino therefore his beliefs that he used to share with yukino. PS: You should rewatch the series as its not comprehensive at all for the first time watchers. I have done the same. And you can google every epi and there will be link popping up that explains everything in detail.
