I was tired of the 3.5" dash so I decided to give the new 5" dash a try. In this vid I show you how I install it and how I set it up. I really like it so far.
I started a 46 ford panel truck, using a 98 Mk8 Lincoln as a donor car. My plan has been for a digital dash. That looks kinda small. I'm gonna go with a 7" raspberry Pi display, using the Pi to read the OBD system and display whatever is wanted.
Nice it’s all about what you want in your ride. I had limited space where I wanted this display and I’m running Holley efi so this one worked great for my needs.
@@HarveysHackShack oh yeah, I agree, I'm glad to see them make them now for sale. When I came up with my idea, no one was making them. I started out as an auto mechanic in the late 60's, wound up programming and working on robots along with other things. I liked you video, because I had no idea that these were available now. Thanks!
You need a garage gear banner now 😘
Let’s make it happen!!
