The "Shitty Wok" joke is taken straight from real life. When Trey and Matt were filming Orgazmo they would call an actual restaurant called City Wok and crack up at the guy on the phone pronouncing it "Shitty Wok".

Fun fact:
This episode was unaired for about 10 years for the Latin American Spanish dub because the dubbing studio in charge (located in Miami) supposedly didn't know how to adapt pretty well the joke about Jared having AIDS/aides.
As funny as this episode is, it is really frustrating how all Jared has to do is stop saying the word “AIDES” and say “Trainer” & “Nutritionist.” 😂
Edit: And also how the boys really f*ck Butters up in this one.
Man,an episode built around a simple play on words has alotta truth to it, its like Prophetic in reverse.

I was also in seventh grade in 2002. I started watching South Park during season one in 1997 when I was in third grade. I’ve got cool parents lol
