    Hey gurlz, 4Z hair here - I've been using this at home for 1.5 years. 1st use worked great, it was on colored hair (multiple xs colored) and the straightening was permanent! I found that out as I tried to let it wear off about 8mo ltr. Then, it wasn't working AT ALL on my new growth (no color, no treatments, super virgin) for about 6mo. kept my hair braided for long intervals trying to figure this out. Finally, a few weeks ago, I decided to leave the dilator on overnight, that did the trick! Back to great results, hair is "curly" when wet but will hold whatever smoother/roller set style I do w/o shrinking to 1/2 inch long! LMK if you need source for ordering that I got from Keracare.

      Hey, I’m happy you love this product. I strongly suggest following manufacturers instructions, which includes going to a professional, to avoid any damage to your hair. But to each his own 💕

    Hi K! Questions for you.
    Can this product be used on Relaxed hair? If yes, is it a recommended alternative between relaxers?

  • @okayestmomever
    @okayestmomever 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    When applying this for a touch up do you put the releasing solution on all of the hair or only the new growth?

      I think you have to wait until it wears off then reapply to entire head.

    Hi, can 2-3 passes still be effective and allow the effects to last 3 months? Is their a home kit available? My hair is nothing like TH-cam hair - it’s WAY kinkier and difficult for stylists to understand (and handle, ouch 😣). So I hope a home version is an option. Thanks for sharing!

    • @kmonetthemogul
      @kmonetthemogul  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hello, 2-3 passes can be effective, that will leave some texture in the hair.
      This product is made for professionals, if you do get your hands on it I wouldn’t suggest doing it at home. Being that there’s room for error.
      What do you mean “TH-cam hair”? Both myself & my client have kinky hair..especially me. You just need to find the right stylist who can work with your hair. Trust me, there are some out there.
      I hope this helps !

      K Mon'et The Mogul: thank you. I meant my 4c hair is not like the 4c natural women I see on TH-cam. My hair has a tighter curl and way more shrunken - about 90% shrinkage, and extremely hard to comb/style.

    Hello, thanks for posting this video. I have some question and was wondering if you could answer. Is this product similar to a keratin treatment? Does the hair revert back with minimal damage? also, can this be done at home or do you recommend it only being done by professional( In order to avoid unnecessary damage?

    • @kmonetthemogul
      @kmonetthemogul  3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Hey! Thanks for watching !
      1. Yes it’s similar to a keratin treatment WITHOUT the harsh chemical formaldehyde. So it’s gentler on hair
      2. Yes, it reverts back with no damage. As long as you do properly care for your hair, there will be no damage and your hair will continue to grow! It wears off little by little with each shampoo. Lasting about 20 shampoos
      3. I only recommend going to a professional so you can correctly apply each step. I’m a professional myself and I went to my mentor to get mine done lol
      I hope I answered your questions ! 💕

    Hi, I’m so glad you posted this! I am 6 years natural and want to get this done but I am so apprehensive. The 7 passes scare the heck out of me. I know that the keratin is supposed to protect the hair against the heat but I’m still nervous. I was just wondering, if I get 7 passes will my hair still curl when I roller set at night? Also, If I get 7 passes will I be able to do braid outs? Just asking for your opinion and advice. Also, after each wash do I have to flat iron to get it straight again?Thanks

    • @kmonetthemogul
      @kmonetthemogul  3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Thanks for you reply !
      Yes 7 passes sound like ALOT , but you can do less if you want. We did 7 because she wanted her hair as straight as possible. But all the products together help protect the hair from any heat damage. This product is not a Keratin Treatment at all!
      Whenever you wash your hair , it will be natural again. But in a looser texture! But definitely natural.
      If you will like you hair straight, you can blowdry / flat iron as usual and it will be 10x easier to handle. But you can curl/roller set / braid out in between presses. You will definitely see the difference with the product though 😉

    I could never let anyone do more than 2 heat passes through my hair. 1 preferably, 2 at the most. Blow drying hair using a good paddle brush and a good blow dryer should make hair straight by itself, and then do 1 pass with flatiron . My hair looks just like it been permed edges and all from front to back without any lumps.
