    So excited for this update 😁. Back to vid. Edit: It loosened your hair like a dream. What does the texture look like if air dried? Can’t wait to try it. And hope you do another update, would love to see progress of treatment/future treatments. And whether you’ll use it again or add it as a regular thing.

      Thank you!!! I’ll do another update in a few months (have a protective style in now) the texture feels smoother and the curl looks slightly bigger/looser. If/when I do another treatment I’ll make another video! Let me now if you decide to do it.

    Thanks for the information. I bought the kit and my hair came out OK but not as straight. After washing my curls were looser and I was happy with it. Sometimes I would wear it straight or curly. About 8 weeks later I went to a salon for a wash and to flat iron my hair and my hair came out very silky and straight. It was so straight it's was limp as I have fine to medium hair. Left it like that for two weeks. Now I have heat damage in the back and left side. It also looks like the texture release is growing out. I think if you put too much heat on your hair it could change permanently so be careful. I quite like the texture of my hair now but disappointed in the heat damage.

      This is exactly what scares me. I have fine strands too

      It’s possible the heat damage came from the salon

      @@Bubbles-qh7ez No, it’s possible she didn’t apply the treatment correctly and that’s why she got heat damage later on. This is a professional product and should be applied by a professional. Don’t blame the product when you’re not doing what you’re supposed to do in the first place. Even some professionals don’t apply this product themselves. They get someone else in the salon to do it.

      Even with the woman in the video, the results are not salon results. I would never do this treatment myself.

      The heat damage definitely came from the salon. The timeline doesn’t add up for it to be the texture release. Perhaps the stylist used a heat protectant that didn’t work for your hair.

    Can you do a video on your braid out to get your hair like this. It’s so cute 💕

    Hi, so with one kit you can do multiple applications? Thanks ❤

    Thank you for doing both those videos. It seems fairly easy to do this at home. Your results came out so great! I’m curious, how is your hair now? And, have you applied more texture release lately? Thanks!

    Can't you do that with regular heat use?

    Can you wear a protective style while having a texture release? A style with hair added like box braids or passion twists or will that break the natural hair?

    • @clairedaniels1877
      @clairedaniels1877 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those are not protective styles. They’re alternative styles because they don’t protect anything.

    What products do you use now that you've used the texture release?

      Avlon says you can use your same products. Or for straight hair, KeraCare products from the straight line or for your curly look, the KeraCare Natural Textures line.

      I’ve seen it cost between $125-$160 depending on the density and length of hair.

      @@Lalajewel But a relaxer is permanent. That's the difference. Also a relaxer gives you one look whether straight or texturised. This loosens and elongates your curl and helps with frizz.
