Im more impressed that it's even possible to pick up a structure like that in the first place without it crumbling the moment it leaves its foundation.
Hi mis u are the close person that has given me information of a profession of transporting a house or any structure and with 80 years of experience THERE IS A HOUSE ON IN PHARR, TEXAS IS WAS TRANSPORTED FROM DONNA,TEXAS TO Pharr, Tx in 1937 can u help me i do the maintenance on that house
I’m stoned too!😊🍔 BUT hay man, I did this for a company in Ohio, it’s cool to be on the roof of a house lifting a traffic light so the house could go by under it
I have a 2 story 100 year old farm house. It is built on piers. I must move it a half mile. It has 3 fireplaces with 2 chimneys. I chimney contains a fireplace on the first and second floor. How difficult/expensive is it to move the chimneys with the house without damage? What is involved to move chimneys? The chimneys are on the outside walls. I know you can’t give exact details without seeing it. I just want general information. I will need to move the house within a year or it will bulldozed. Thank You
The type of project you are discussing is complex and really needs to be looked at. There are many factors that go into a move like the type you are discussing. Please check out www.iasm.org (International Assoc. of Structural Movers), select Find A Mover from the upper right menu bar and then enter your information. I'm sure someone from your locale would be more than happy to discuss the project with you.
wow i am afraid to ask for a price, but i need to know, how much will it be please just give me any idea on price just a round number to move a 3br, 2b , brick home on piers, approx.1900 sq.ft. ... 151 miles from home location to new location.
There are a lot of variables that go into a move. I would reach out to www.iasm.org and look under the Find a Member tab. You can search by state to find a mover who could answer your questions with some additional information provided by you. Good luck with your project.
I'm high, this video was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
I'm here 9 years later also high. What a strange world 🤷♂️

house uses to be built REALLY sturdy... I wonder if it would be possible with houses built in recent years.
