Wow! Great video with great information on the business systems analyst role. I have an interview for this position and I was kind of dreading it especially because this is not my first choice for a job position. The narrator's enthusiasm is really contagious and he did not sound superficial at all.

Great video! Thanks for pointing out the different attributes and traits of a BSA. I've found that I have some of these by nature or have developed with experience. This video helps confirm what I have always felt about myself and my role in the company I've worked in. It also helps me focus on strengthening other expected attributes of a BSA.

I think your video is the one I loved the most and the one that really convinced me to apply for that job being an engineer... I was sure I needed to have a Business Bachelor.. Thank you so much!!

I had a corporate guy from Valeo tell me that I have been a BSA after looking at my resume and tell me that I am a BSA and put me in for a BSA manager position. After watching your video I was like well hello, I have been doing this crap since I was 25 and I’m now 47. I have been performing as a BSA as a production manager, inventory control manager and quality manager. Just never had the title BSA. So thank you your video I am only applying to BSA positions now.

You speak good.. I am into my 4 and half years of my first job, I work in Salesforce, I started off as a support guy then did development for couple of years, now I am going to be a BSA, its a risk for turn around my fortune I am going to take now,
points you have mentioned like Detail oriented and written skill are going to be the challenges for me too, do you have anything I can take notes to improve on my writing skill for a BSA.

The one thing I don't get though is the titles, so my coworker calls herself a BPA business process analyst, you say BSA and I am a BA, but we work in IT. For me it is all Ba because in BA work is process modeling and systems improvement.

Hi! Can you please explain differences between a business consultant and business analyst?

What you describe as a BSA sounds more like a project manager to me. The BSA provides inputs to the project manager where I work.
PS It's funny how you place the BSA in the IT org. I'm in the Sales/Business org and over the last few years they started saying I should be a BSA when the day before I was an Analyst.

I would say a BSA is usually in IT in many organizations. A BA may not be in IT, but many of those are in IT, too. Considering that many enhancements/solutions to business problems these days usually involve an information system, I'd say it makes sense.

Awesome. I just became a BSA for a Power Company here in my local
market. I am struggling a bit because the project that I'm on, was
placed on hold and was started multiple months before my arrival. Do you
have any suggestions you can lend especially considering this being an
Agile Scrum methodology with a cross- functional team? Too, they expect
me to work on several projects simultaneously.

What's the difeerence between BSA ,System analyst and Business analyst??

    • @nemozo
      @nemozo ปีที่แล้ว +2

BSA is the liaison between business and IT. They are the bridge between both worlds.
SA strictly works with systems, understanding how a system works, etc
BA works with day to day operation of the business, goal is to understand how the business works.
