First of all, I love the two videos I've seen from you on the Fire TV Stick. They are clear and informative. You've been a source of great information when the rest of the internet has failed me. Unfortunately, with my recent woes, after following all of the steps, our Mouse Toggle is still stuck on "starting." I have a Fire TV Stick 4K Max and I'm using the AFTKA Version 1:11 on the Mouse Toggle app. Is there anything else I might be able to do, except throw it out in the yard, which I don't consider that much of an option, but my wife certainly does? Thanks for your great explanation! However as the new FireTV Stick 4K MAX now comes with a newest FireOS-8, unfortunately the Mouse-Toogle application can no longer work on this new devices. I received my new FireTV Stick 4k MAX 2nd generation a week ago, and already tried with all the 4 different version available, and none of them has worked anymore. Could you please recommend me a working version of mouse toogle app, or a work around, so I can continue using this excellent application with my new FireTV Stick 4k Max 2nd generation?

Firestick 4K Max, couple of years old, I think got it late '22. Tried 1.11 and 1.06 versions. Did the steps as you recommended but still no luck with getting it to work. I did have a working version and assume theres been an update from Amazon that caused it to stop working. I wish there was another option for a mouse app.

Attach USB storage (ensure formatted to FAT32). Create folder on USB "Recordings" Go into Tivimate settings, find Recording options and change recording location/folder to the folder you created on the USB. good video very well done ,unfortunately none of the solutions worked for my firestick 4k switched from 1.06 back to the 1.11 turned off all restarted did it all 3 times and yet the mouse toggle remained on starting. Perplexing as it worked fine for the past several years on this Samsung 4k tv set and it continues to work fine on all our other 3 tv sets all using 4k firesticks. Got a question,,, I downloaded live net tv and I looked under developer options clicked on install unknown apps and I saw the live net tv was set to off,,,, do I need to set these apps to on like i have with downloader? Thanks and love all your videos and advice.

FYI. I have a Toshiba fire TV. When you go into setting you have to go to device and software. But the problem is the about brings up the device name that you may have set up on your own. Which mine does so it doesn't have the version or anything like that. I've got the fire OS version though but that doesn't indicate anything about what fire version type I have. Also neither version works on my fire TV unfortunately. It used to a few years ago but it hasn't since.

Apparently because the new FireTV 4K MAX now comes with a newest FireIS 8, unfortunately the Mouse-Toogle application can no longer work on this new devices.
Hey there, been using mouse toggle v 1.06 for quite a while, but today it stopped working. Fire tv cube 2nd generation. I tried all troubleshooting recommended and also different versions. Hey Tanya. I have firestick 4k. I did all you said but it still doesn't work. And as on display I don't have 50 hertz on my 4k only 60 hertz. I think with the new upload on firestick I believe might have made it quit working. If you have any other information let me know please. Thank you!

Hello, I have just watched the mouse toggle fix video and although I’m grateful for all the videos you put up on you tube this one is not working for me, I have a 4k max firestick which is not allowing any of the fixes or operations to work. mouse toggle was working perfectly up until 2 weeks ago and now I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled and currently have version 1.11 it starts but will not allow the curser to appear can you help me please?

Evening, so this usually works Great for me and usually across Multiple versions of firesticks But I just got a new stick and I'm having issues. I've tried everything including a few of your tricks/tips but no dice. I get everything installed and status even says "started" But no matter how I push the play button I can Never the mouse to turn on. I addition to not seeing the mouse on-screen I can still use the dpad to navigate the screen, just like when the mouse is turned off. I have a 2nd Gen 4k firestick (rounder version)& have tried mouse versions 1.06 1.11 and 1.12 and 1.12 is the only version that actually said Started, the other versions didn't work and kept saying starting, even after switching ADB on/off. I have 4k but once i got to display it was different. Mine said display and sound. And the resolution msgs were different. Never got my mouse to work. 4k firestick- mouse toggle vers 1.11

If your home network is unsecure or shared with others in the same building, then leaving ADB on all the time could potentially leave you exposed to others trying to gain access to your device. However, if that is not an issue then it's ok to leave on.

One day Mouse T was working fine now not at all. I'v re installed both versions, I do not have a 4k. Toggle just says starting, never goes to started and I cannot open ABD settings from Toggle, when I click on it, it just stays on the M T screen, I have to go into settings manually. I tried your steps at the end of this video with no change. Hed scratcher!

First of all, I love the two videos I've seen from you on the Fire TV Stick. They are clear and informative. You've been a source of great information when the rest of the internet has failed me. Unfortunately, with my recent woes, after following all of the steps, our Mouse Toggle is still stuck on "starting." I have a Fire TV Stick 4K Max and I'm using the AFTKA Version 1:11 on the Mouse Toggle app. Is there anything else I might be able to do, except throw it out in the yard, which I don't consider that much of an option, but my wife certainly does? Sorry. Your instructions are very clear. My English is good. So it's not a matter of not understanding, at all all three possible reasons for mouse toggle is not working.Version 1.11.

However as the new FireTV Stick 4K MAX now comes with a newest FireOS-8, unfortunately the Mouse-Toogle application can no longer work on this new devices.
I received my new FireTV Stick 4k MAX 2nd generation a week ago, and already tried with all the 4 different version available, and none of them has worked anymore.

Firestick 4K Max, couple of years old, I think got it late '22. Tried 1.11 and 1.06 versions. Did the steps as you recommended but still no luck with getting it to work. I did have a working version and assume theres been an update from Amazon that caused it to stop working.

Attach USB storage (ensure formatted to FAT32).
Create folder on USB "Recordings"
Go into Tivimate settings, find Recording options and change recording location/folder to the folder you created on the USB.

good video very well done ,unfortunately none of the solutions worked for my firestick 4k switched from 1.06 back to the 1.11 turned off all restarted did it all 3 times and yet the mouse toggle remained on starting. Perplexing as it worked fine for the past several years on this Samsung 4k tv set and it continues to work fine on all our other 3 tv sets all using 4k firesticks. FYI. I have a Toshiba fire TV. When you go into setting you have to go to device and software. But the problem is the about brings up the device name that you may have set up on your own. Which mine does so it doesn't have the version or anything like that. I've got the fire OS version though but that doesn't indicate anything about what fire version type I have.
Also neither version works on my fire TV unfortunately. It used to a few years ago but it hasn't since.

I’ve tried both versions but my the mouse pointer works in the mouse toggle app but not when I try and open it on any other app or the home page
You have to be inside a supported app to be able to activate and use the mouse toggle. it will no load on the Home screen.

Evening, so this usually works Great for me and usually across Multiple versions of firesticks But I just got a new stick and I'm having issues. I've tried everything including a few of your tricks/tips but no dice. I get everything installed and status even says "started" But no matter how I push the play button I can Never the mouse to turn on. You need the Fire TV HD version from my download page (it states above the blue download button which versions each are compatible with).

If your home network is unsecure or shared with others in the same building, then leaving ADB on all the time could potentially leave you exposed to others trying to gain access to your device. However, if that is not an issue then it's ok to leave on.

One day Mouse T was working fine now not at all. I'v re installed both versions, I do not have a 4k. Toggle just says starting, never goes to started and I cannot open ABD settings from Toggle, when I click on it, it just stays on the M T screen, I have to go into settings manually. I tried your steps at the end of this video with no change. Hed scratcher!

Apparently the mouse toggle is not compatible with the 2nd generation Firestick 4k Max. I have tried versions 1.06,1.11 and 1.12. No success at this point. This is a dealbreaker for me.
It still needs to be released int the UK. Until I receive it, I won't be able to help, sorry.

Currently an update in Fire OS blocks ADB. Hence third parties app don't work anymore...

Not working for me, firestick 4k, changed resolution settings to 50, still didnt work, I never got the prompt when setting it up. 😢
