10 days ago - just before Memorial Weekend - we went up early to the cottage to beat the traffic. We were having a fire in the fire-pit about 10:00, and the most god-awful noise came from the Southwest. Our neighbors down the road had just gotten to their cottage a couple hours earlier, and let their two beagles out to do their thing before going to bed. Coyotes came in and tore one of the dogs to pieces, right in their yard. The dog was still alive when the owners found it, but they had to euthanize because the gut was torn open, and it's bottom jaw was nearly torn off completely. This is what happens when you have too many coyotes. It's only a matter of time before you see stories about small children being hauled away. Whenever I see a coyote - especially a male - it disappears, like David Copperfield.
Peta has thousands of dogs and cats euthanized every year because they care SO MUCH about animal welfare they feel it's better the animal be dead than in the possession of a person. I wish I was making this shit up but it's a documented fact! I was a PETA member when I was 15 until around 25, I believed they really cared about animal welfare until I learned about how many animals they have euthanized...When they rescue animals those animals are euthanized! It's unbelievable! They try to cover these facts up, but over the years more and more insiders have leaked the internal documents. There have also been court cases, and public disclosures that support what I am stating here. The point? Shooting the coyote is really the most humane way to manage the situation! Carry on!
I live out in the country and one of my biggest fears is a coyote attacking my dog... I'd kill one if it ever came anywhere near my pup. However, it always makes me sad when a shot doesn't kill them instantly and they are left yelping and rolling around in pain. Poor things...

I love your videos, no fluff. I hate the long sight pics of other channels, you get it done. Plus you don't use the clunky bolt action crap that other channels use. I like to see multiple shots in quick succession when the first isn't perfect. Y0u can't expect every first shot to be perfect and having the option to use a quick second shot is more humane and entertaining.
Some cracking shots on the moving ones , they have a bouncy gate , very difficult to get a good shot placement ..your follow up shots were excellent ..great vid I’ll watch out for more ...
Easily got our thumbs up! Here in Ohio we're dealing with coyotes that likely got put here by the state through the insurance companies who want to reduce the deer populations. Now we have predators attacking our live stock, killing our pets, and even document reports of adults and children being attacked
Agreed. Im all for population control and pest control because im from texas where feral pigs and coyotes do a lot of damage. But if you're going to be doing this, you should use a larger caliber and take better shots. If the animal doest go down instantly and runs off in pain, it was a bad shot.
They are vermin. Right up there with rats and pigeons. But rats and pigeons don't kill you house pets. I find no benefit to keeping a coyote alive. Vicious little killing machines.....great video!

Looks like you have more than enough to make a fur coat.
I wish I knew a PETA person to share this with .....LOL
Carry on!

Impressive landscape. Where is this?
great shooting, epic filming and editing!
one of the best videos of this kind
Thank you very much!
You can See the bullet at 7:33 👌🏻
And shockwave to 0x25
Same at @8:03!
_Mag dumps on one coyote._
*Awesome shootin John*
Awesome shooting, the wind must be very strong but could not upset the accuracy.... 204 Ruger is fantastic.
I live out in the country and one of my biggest fears is a coyote attacking my dog... I'd kill one if it ever came anywhere near my pup. However, it always makes me sad when a shot doesn't kill them instantly and they are left yelping and rolling around in pain. Poor things...
They killed my 16 year old dog and left me nothing now there all gonna die and if they yelp I'm gonna smile bigger at every single yelp
@@tarabasham7599 You know what? Thats fair enough. At that point I'd probably do the same. I am so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how devastating that must be...
@@Taylor.h thank you I used to actually care a good deal for wildlife but that tore me up
@@tarabasham7599 I’m so sorry to hear that, that’s why I fully support coyote hunting. They’re in my neighborhood and I won’t hesitate to do what I have to do if one comes near me or someone/something else
Maybe you shouldn’t own a dog
Hey Josh what Amo are you using? The title says AR15 are you using 223 or 556 or what? And how long is your barrel? If you could respond would be greatly appreciated
If anybody disagrees with this you've never had a coyote problem
Yup you’re right. I actually have a human problem....
murica
Looks like Wyoming.
No cuz this exists
I think it might be eastern Montana
I love your videos, no fluff. I hate the long sight pics of other channels, you get it done. Plus you don't use the clunky bolt action crap that other channels use. I like to see multiple shots in quick succession when the first isn't perfect. Y0u can't expect every first shot to be perfect and having the option to use a quick second shot is more humane and entertaining.
Thank you! You got it!
Some cracking shots on the moving ones , they have a bouncy gate , very difficult to get a good shot placement ..your follow up shots were excellent ..great vid I’ll watch out for more ...
Did he just go head on with a tree @3:06??? Lmao
Are they over populated for the area or what? Also do you guys do anything with them?
7:18 bullet trace awesome!
The clip after that as well!
Good eye
At 4:44 you can see the shock wave of the bullet's passage through the air.
Make that 4:42.
Nah, thats it the TH-cam compression algorithm trying to reduce the size of the video but keep the bullet it it.
Easily got our thumbs up! Here in Ohio we're dealing with coyotes that likely got put here by the state through the insurance companies who want to reduce the deer populations. Now we have predators attacking our live stock, killing our pets, and even document reports of adults and children being attacked
I have no love for coyotes. If you're going to shot them, kill them, don't just wound them and shoot more shots in the dust.
Agreed. Im all for population control and pest control because im from texas where feral pigs and coyotes do a lot of damage. But if you're going to be doing this, you should use a larger caliber and take better shots. If the animal doest go down instantly and runs off in pain, it was a bad shot.
these hunters are a bunch of nutless losers
Nobody:
Girl: drop'd em
7:21 watching the bullet fly in is epic Nice shooting old video, how many yards were you shooting ??
Pretty crazy you can see some of the bullets traveling. Great shooting!
With the modern weapons and technology coyotes don't have a chance to over populate.
You would he surprised. Around where I live, there is tons. They kill chickens and goats around us all the time
Try to kill your own dog
But they do
They are vermin. Right up there with rats and pigeons. But rats and pigeons don't kill you house pets. I find no benefit to keeping a coyote alive. Vicious little killing machines.....great video!
@mac 187 Excuse me? How was I being racist?
I could watch this all day long! Love it! Great shooting dude! , and great spotter as well!
.25 speed on 7:15 and you can see the air pressure from the bullet!
Actually you can see it on many of them, amazing
Love the follow up shots. Even though they’re just yotes you seem to always want to put them down as quickly as possible.
Good shooters don't need follow up shots.
@@chipbaker2025 You are right.... Good Shooters DON'T miss!!
Nice job, what do u do with them killed coyotes afterwards
I have a coyote infestation at my property, i am gonna hunt them this year, i hope i get one as good as yours
Do not infest your property please
wipe em out for ya property
Yeah coyotes so cruel
4:42 so cool, we can even see the shock waves that the bullet does
That was from the bolt action AR-15 :)
@@arthurhardy an AR-15 is NOT a bolt-action.
It is a semi-auto.
@@willhorting5317 No Shit? did you see the smiley face?
@@arthurhardy actually no I didn't and don't.
Maybe it just doesn't show up on my system.🤷♂️
I didn't realize that you were being sarcastic.
Nice just what do you do with dead coyote?
Dude! That's being a shooter!!!!! Nice job!!!
