- This was a great Memorial Day weekend hunt with our 3 year old daughter with us on stand! The first minute is a montage of the shots followed by our entire hunt with coyotes rolling into the call!

This guy is living a dream, his wife is actively involved in the outdoors, he is teaching his daughter a life long lesson about population control and hunting, and they are all doing it together! The USA needs more families like this.

My parents and I used to do that too...I shot my first gun at 3 yrs old...34 yrs later I still hunt with my 77 yr old dad. I love living in the country
Really? Killing for fun is hardly a good example. Unless you are unaware of science based ecology. It’s ok to kill... if it’s plentiful and you eat it. 40-60% dependent on stats you read has gone.... since 1970. Not to hard to work it out is it?

Big respect to you for teaching your daughter about conservation and firearms.
My father, a Marine Corps WW2 veteran and small arms instructor, taught me and my sibs about firearms when I was 6 years old.
I spent many enjoyable hours at the open air firing range with him.
It never occurred to dad that it was unusual to teach his 3 daughters how to safely handle firearms and to use them with skill.
Years later I taught my son the same lessons; he taught my daughters.
I am forever grateful to my father for the many life skills he taught me. He went to his eternal rest 30 years ago.
Today he would have been 101 years old.
It is gratifying to see a tradition of life skills passed along from both parents to daughter.
Would that every family had the patience and fortitude to do the same.
Strong families = strong nation!
Nothing wrong with firearms. However killing for fun is different. Animal species are totally down since 1970. Between 40-60%. Therefore we should shoot to eat on what is bountiful. Not for fun. Get the difference?

congratulations on the hunt, and for teaching the little girl from a young age, how to deal with predators. Brazil needs some of that.
Why? With only small % of animal life actually wild? Killing for fun is rather different than killing for food.

Nice shooting, but I am on the fence about the 204. It kills them no doubt and dead is dead. But I like to see the drop on the spot. If you are saving the pelts than the 204 makes the holes you want.

Appreciate it! Check out our last video uploaded. The first 20 were taken with the 204 Superformance 32 gr Hornady load at 4150 fps they did much better than the 32 gr Fiochi load we were shooting in this video at 3850 fps.
I am a huge fan of the 243 Win for knocking a dog flat if fur damage is not of concern.

I am originally from Montana and grew up on a ranch. Refreshing to see such great predator control. The area you are hunting reminds me of the country around Glendive Montana north on the Sydney highway. Thanks for the video. Brought back great memories.
I used to live in Sydney, worked that area to Williston in North Dakota, it sure does remind me of there!
To many people knock the 204 Ruger but, what it does with that diminutive 32 gr bullet is absolutely terrifying!
The 17 Remington and 204 Ruger are great for fox but as this video shows, a little light for coyotes.
You guys have a great family bond. And I’m really impressed with how well you both can hit a moving target from the distance.
They really aren’t hitting moving targets, they’re off with targets moving.
204 means less distance leading on running shots!

This reminds me of when my wife and daughter accompanied me hunting. We were after feral goats and usually got something to take home. When my daughter was older, she joined us with her 3006.

Sorry to hear that man. Wife just had hers pass a week ago. Problem is all these quarantined snowflakes went out and bought or adopted every kitten in the San Antonio area. Just wait till this all blows over. There'll be truckloads of them needing furever homes.
One killed mine a few weeks back as well
A good friend of mine has two cats that sneak out of the house, and there is all kinds of coyotes around his land, so it is coyote eradication time. Three coyotes down. Many more to go. Farmer down from my friends house has a small herd of cows with calfs. Asked if I would come down and eliminate the coyotes that harass his cows at night. More fields of fire for me. I can hunt these damn coy dogs all year long.
As for killing them fast, I say let them suffer a bit. Coyotes make every animal they kill suffer, so this payback time.
Also. To you whinny assed anti hunters and PETA crowd. You should by glad there is people spending their own money and time hunting these coyotes controlling their ever increasing population so they don’t end up in your back yard and kill your cats, small dogs, or worse attack your small child.
Not to put thoughts in your head, but they'll be back. If you're like me, you're setting up traps and/or waiting with a firearm at night. Be careful not to get arrested.

No it does not. Most hunters will tell you that they hunt because their father hunted. It’s mostly tradition.

Might better hurry. Coyotes are evolving to not be so altruistic, as well as making a distinction between a real pup call and a recorded one.
@@rondohunter8966 I think a lot of the calls are of other prey animals in distress, which coyotes won't pass up a free easy meal as scavengers

Super good shooting. I mean really.
Wish the .204 had more ability to emphatically kill a yote with a wider bullet range. Good on pelts; bad on killing them fast sometimes.
I hate coyotes but I also hate seeing them not die instantly when it is usually possible.
I don't save pelts; so 70gr nosler BT from my .243 or the 95gr vmax from my 6.5 hits the off switch.
Otherwise, excellent shot placement and what beautiful countryside.

Thank you!! Right on I also run a 243 Win AR-10 shooting 75 & 87 Grain vmax! Shot placement is definitely not as critical without a doubt. I would love to try some 95's in my 6.5. I bet they are one bad hammer!! The first 20 coyotes from the last video we just uploaded 35 kills were shot with the Factory Hornady 32 gr Vmax @ 4150+ fps VS the Fiochi 32 Gr vmax load @ 3850 fps we were using in this video. Lots more DRT's with the increased velocity of Hornady load!

I have watched many a predator hunter on here. I really enjoy your videos. The kind I can't stand are the ones like "Night Crew" . They make you sit through the first 10 minutes of a 20 minute video waiting for a kill and all you get is someone talking that thinks he's Louis Freaking L'Amour . Really love the way that you include your entire family. I'm down in Texas but would love to come up and hunt with you some time.

5:05 was pretty brutal. You had the clear shot and just missed, with two.
All the ones where they spin around are rear body shots. Not a good shooter at all
Coyotes spin from front shoulder and double lung shots also. Obviously you have hunted coyotes.

Great shooting. Looks like some of your shots are at very long distances. Would you say 300 - 400 yards? What's your guess? Did you range find them as they approached?

Nice shooting. I use a 22-250 ruger with a Leopold 40 vari x3. Most of my shots in NY have been easy 100 yards shots.
