It was a death I gladly faced, because it was freedom from the bonds of ignorance and evil. If a grown man had threatened me with violence to intimidate me into pretending I believe in Scripture, especially my own father, I would’ve run screaming from the truth of the Catholic Church. Instead, good Christians changed my heart with their example of honoring my dignity and respecting my intelligence, and keeping the door open to talk whenever I was ready. And now I am devout Catholic who is absolutely in love with the Lord, and I believe Scripture with my whole heart. Keep praying for her, talking to her, and living out the example of your faith, and I’ll pray for her too. It works.
I relate so strongly to her story, it mirrors mine quite a bit. My gosh this really touched my heart. This goes to the core of what women are really facing when it comes to faith and societal expectations. Its so disorienting to go through this journey to faith and have to rectify this with all thats going on in life. She is very brave and im glad she has shared her story.
My change wasn't as drastic, but I definitely can relate. The pro-life concept is so obviously true if you just consider it honestly. Previously, I was pro-life on a personal level (although I faltered even in that by using certain forms of birth control) and pro-choice for others and now I see the weakness and hypocrisy of this stance. I have noticed that becoming more religiously faithful makes people more lovely because of a peaceful energy coming from within.

The Constitution creates a system wherein their desires conflict, and hence they are played off of each other, preventing tyranny. 3. It also guarantees citizens of the United States rights without which a free society is eroded.

The First Amendment of the US Constitution fails at protecting free speech for example: Texas is unable to defend its people from social media censorship because 1A says "*Congress* shall make no law..." But Constitutions themselves are a stroke of utter genius, from Magna Carta onwards. And it is the job of the patriot - the loyalist - to defend his nation's constitutional principles from revolution.

Even after I am now 65, I still admire this beautiful Catholic Church of ours. I have heard many many preachers, but I always find that Catholic priests preach with peace and patience, they are different. My friends from other religions also say the same thing. We live as minority in a country in which the majority is another religion, but recently the government wanted to adopt the Catholic school system for the national system. My gosh this really touched my heart. This goes to the core of what women are really facing when it comes to faith and societal expectations. Its so disorienting to go through this journey to faith and have to rectify this with all thats going on in life. She is very brave and im glad she has shared her story.

My change wasn't as drastic, but I definitely can relate. The pro-life concept is so obviously true if you just consider it honestly. Previously, I was pro-life on a personal level (although I faltered even in that by using certain forms of birth control) and pro-choice for others and now I see the weakness and hypocrisy of this stance. I have noticed that becoming more religiously faithful makes people more lovely because of a peaceful energy coming from within.

This represents a symbolic severing with tradition which makes their claim that tradition supports the Papacy ring hollow. I have respect for my Roman coreligionists but I think that they would be better off in the East, for all of the East's problems. Its a beautiful and divine thing this kind of change of heart! Did you notice that we can only change in one way and for the best. There is always a danger for a weak faith person to lose it in our society (in a way, we all live like "pagans" in certain points of our life because if not, we would all be saints) but for a strong faith person, to change the other way around (from true catholic to pure leftist ideological naturalist activist) doesn't happen. This woman will not stop looking at the Kingdom of Heaven and will not stop walking toward it (at her own pace). She will not look behind her and get nostalgic of her sinner past. When we face God, the spiritual treasures are to precious to look anywhere else.

I didn't become Catholic, but I became a political conservative during the pandemic because I was sick of the liberals shredding the Constitution.
Most people took it well. Some didn't.

1. We aren't a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic. That's why the Germans rank higher.
2. Our government is in gridlock because we have people who would be tyrants on both sides. The Constitution creates a system wherein their desires conflict, and hence they are played off of each other, preventing tyranny.
3. It also guarantees citizens of the United States rights without which a free society is eroded.
@Trinity M There is nothing wrong with criticising individual constitutions and clauses within them. The First Amendment of the US Constitution fails at protecting free speech for example: Texas is unable to defend its people from social media censorship because 1A says "*Congress* shall make no law..."
But Constitutions themselves are a stroke of utter genius, from Magna Carta onwards. And it is the job of the patriot - the loyalist - to defend his nation's constitutional principles from revolution.
Similar story here, all my beliefs have changed being cathloic. It's a difficult road at first. But it's worth it. Amen!

So, I was just like her minus the tattoos I CAN SAY she will stop cursing. I was so elegant with an educated trucker mouth. I loved the F word. And over short time without noticing I stopped cursing in English and Spanish. Spanish bad words are so powerful and make a point. Now when a word slips I excuse myself. One good thing I never ever ever cursed when angry. Bizarre

Even after I am now 65, I still admire this beautiful Catholic Church of ours. I have heard many many preachers, but I always find that Catholic priests preach with peace and patience, they are different. My friends from other religions also say the same thing. We live as minority in a country in which the majority is another religion, but recently the government wanted to adopt the Catholic school system for the national system. As a Catholic, I am very proud and grateful of this.
