Exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. And when your heart and lung health improve, you have more energy to tackle daily chores.
Thanks Doc🙏 You’re the only one with a video for knees and hips. Everyone else is working the buttocks 🤦🏼♀️ That tells me the state of the world-people watching “Kim fake-ass” instead of listening to God. I don’t know about y’all but this grandma is training to fight for her family.
This channel is so accessible and useful and informative. The exercises are great for targetting specific muscles and tissues with proper form and motion to help strengthen and prevent injury. Thanks so much Dr. Kristie!
This is a blessing. I was looking for low impact exercises to do in between normal weight sets to have less down time. I think I just found some. Thank you!!
ah, such a relief, thank you once again Doc. Its like you are a mind reader, I need hip socket realignment /strengthening exercises just like what you are demonstrating. Getting older is a humbling experience and your helpful , informative videos are that breath of fresh air.
Dr. Christie I just ordered the Derma Edge. I so value your channel. and it is so pleasant to learn from a beautiful woman with an equally beautiful spirit : )
Love ❤️ how you thoroughly explain everything! I was just diagnosed with a disc protrusion at L1-L2. Any suggestions for exercises would be greatly appreciated! Walking, pilates and light weights were recommended. NEVER DO DEADLIFTS AGAIN, was advised by the Neurosurgeon. I had started doing deadlifts a few weeks before getting excruciating pain and presently have numbness. The Neurosurgeon and Orthopedic surgeon said L1-L2 herniated disc is very unusual. I've also had emergency surgeries at L4-L5 and L5-S1 many years ago and was left with permanent nerve damage. Warm regards 💕
Oh I’m sorry:( it’s a definitely not as common as an area to herniate as the lower lumbar. With regards to exercise, I do love Pilates but it’s very important to keep a neutral spine so as not to aggravate the back. Take a look at these videos and run them by your surgeon: th-cam.com/video/3Dh6Ft5HOO8/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/i-v9cTyIAZc/w-d-xo.html
@@drkristieennis Thank you so much for recommending some videos for me to try. I will check them out. I will have to make my own decision with regards to the exercises I try since I don't see the surgeon again. Thank God I don't require surgery!!! With gratitude 💕
Hi Dr Kristie!! I was doing the exercises with you!!! Just without weights. I am going to pretend that doing them with no weights is better than not doing them at all? And easy to do when you are in a standing place, and you have a minute to move your legs! :) Anyways, another great video!!! Have a happy week! 🙂
You should try Bala bangles which are great ankle and arm weights and look so sleek. Also you may wanna check your sound during the edit or even your mic as this seems to be completely coming out of the right only. There is no sound or audio out of the left.
Hi! Thanks so much for the awesome tips! I’m thinking of purchasing ankle weights for strength in my legs as I’m currently learning soccer.. Do you mind recommending the weight and brand of ankle weights I should start with as I’m currently twelve years old(extra info; I weigh 82 lbs and I’m 57’ inches)
I typically start my patients off with light weight, between 2-5 pounds. My goal for patients is to feel fatigue after doing the reps, but not pain or fatigue to the point of not moving the leg correctly! I do like DMoose

It very much depends on your symptoms and limitations. If you are unsure, it is helpful to check with someone who has seen you in person. Have you seen this video: th-cam.com/video/v6zKng3qCRI/w-d-xo.html

Did you have an opinion on GOATA movements? Proponents claim the movements prevent sports injury to knees and ankles.
I’m actually not very familiar with it but it sounds interesting, especially if they video your own movements.
How much weight would u recommend for ankle weights ?
It depends on what your starting point is. For my clients that are new to exercise, I typically start with 2 pounds.
I have chondromalacia patella issues so can i do this?
Everyone is different, so it’s always good to check with someone who knows you and your specific issues.
Is this safe for disc bulge
It very much depends on your symptoms and limitations. If you are unsure, it is helpful to check with someone who has seen you in person. Have you seen this video:

Wow....ur pretty❤
You said 'Knee Strengthening', but it's about butt and core...(
She said there are many accessory muscles, e.g. glutes and core, that help strengthen and support the knees.

Knee strength is fine but I'm just here for the feet.
