Great coverage here. I didn’t realize Disney afternoon collection was on steam, picking that up this morning. That Super Kiwi 64 looks REALLY appealing from an n64 stand points
I mostly went from 8 bit (C64, NES and Gameboy) because we didn't really have money for 16 bit games (only one I played a lot was Sonic 1 on the megadrive which someone had given us, but we had no other games), straight to PC by the time I started making my own money in the late 90s. But outside of really hard to miss things like Doom and Halflife (and Quake and Duke), I was hooked on MUDs at that time. Consoles didn't really reenter my life until the original Xbox. I do know most of the games in that disney afternoon collection, but in my experience it's often better to let them live in my memories :P
LoL there's something to be said for that- Sure they don't stack up well against platformers today that had the benefit of DECADES of titles to learn from, but still an interesting little collection of childhood classics :) I never had a Sega megadrive/genesis, but my uncle did and I remember enjoying checking out Sega games at his house!
Definitely earned a new sub Question though, what’s that first game that’s shown out of all the B Roll footage? The one with the character in blue and the castle. Looks pretty interesting
Surprised Shovel Knight didn't show up, but if I was to pick a game that would fit right in the 90's, it would be 'The Horror Of Salazar House'. It's a simple game but it's styled to be a virtual boy game, it's pretty good personally.
Gah, that's a TERRIBLE oversight on my part! LoL I just bought that a couple months back when I was on a Puppet Combo tear :p Probably gonna check it out this Halloween!
Nice list! How do you tackle only 5 games when there are thousands? It's pretty easy, you make multiple parts vids 🤣! I find it strange that there are still slow downs in the Disney compilation considering how powerful the console is compared to the NES! Blud looks interesting! And you had to end with giving me nightmares with that Clippie!!! 🤣! Great video and keep up the good work!
Many thanks, Dan! And I know right? I probably will end up making more in the future since people seem to have responded positively and, well, as a 90s kid it's lots of fun for me too :p LoL Clippie is pretty terrifying in his own right XD

Thanks a bunch, T! Hope you've been well and Super Kiwi 64 was surprisingly good!
Man I played the hell out of the old Chip n Dale game
One of the first games I beat on ye olde Nintendo Entertainment System….
@@crktritual such a fun co op game too, I used to have to carry my sister around so she didn’t die 😂
LoL same here- I think I played it with my mom after she rented it for me when I was a kid. :p
Awsome. Darkwing duck was one of the first games I finished (I'm old).can't wait to replay it
Hehehe I'm old as well and hope you enjoy a nostalgic return!
I am absolutely going to check out Progress Bar '95 seeing that gameplay hit me right in the feels!
Bwahaha I imagine you'll appreciate it :p
Nice! I wondered about Blud thanks for the detailed review.
You're most welcome and hope you enjoy it, jeff!
Cool vid idea definitely adding a few of these to my wish list, only game you mentioned that I've played is torres 3d and I loved that
Glad you dig it, John! I just have such a soft spot for 5th gen games :)

If you haven't seen/played Hypnospace Outlaw, I HIGHLY recommend it.
OH wow I just looked it up and added it to the wishlist- this looks bonkers! :D

This channel is run by a real gamer. He always put me onto intresting looking games that I’ve never heard of. Such an underrated channel
That's a game INSIDE of the #Blud game I went over :)
You flatter me, Evil 😛

The main 90s game I've played on my deck is alex Kidd in miracle world dx. I've got a lot of nostalgia for that. Much harder than i remember though!
I VAGUELY remember Alex Kidd but need to take another look sometime :) Games from that era could be totally brutal!
