I know about BTWF shutting down. Thanks for letting me know! It’s disappointing but luckily we got so many other Thomas games out there to play. So I recommend for those of you out there to try some of the other games on this list and in my other videos on these games
I 100% agree with you on these ratings! Me and my friends have spent so many weekend hours grinding on BTWF and just messing around. Btwf has been my first Thomas Roblox game and will always be my favourite!
fun fact, BTWF does have skins, you gotta click the whistle of the engine to change the skin (you can also press under the cab to change the paint job of some engines)
I think some players were frustrated with having no control on the snowploughs when ploughing, and it would easily cause holes to appear in the terrain, so to prevent an issue like that happening again, Skip decided to have players manually click a “Plough” button
I would like to say that sodor online has not only the nwr all the way to barrow, but is also has a fully complete Skarlowey Railway all the way to ulfstead castle and a full arelsdale railway and the little western all the way to harwick plus mail and slate jobs added. The game (without the snow) rivals btwf especially well, so after the snow is gone, you should check it out then. Also PLEASE check out somewhere Wales. It got a big update. All the engines have animated controls, reversing, and valve gear controls plus working g breaks (pressing f).
Sodor online is a pretty good game but it always gets ruined by a bunch of dumb kids spaming spawners and deleting other peoples trains. Also, I don’t think it lives up to the pure charm of BTWF, but that’s just my opinion. I think it is still a great game but a little bit overrated. Your opinion is still valid though.
11:16 actually on the sodor online discord, speedy mentioned that because of some code glitch in the game or smth, the snow couldn’t be automatically removed like the previous update so the manual snow ploughing had to be put in.
Recently, some new missions were added in btwf Accessories have been added with some engines in btwf, including some skins, the area you need to click to get the extras depend on what edited
12:38 the easiest way to do it is to spawn 15 trucks at a time from tidmouth sheds, then deliver them to tidmouth station. 15 trucks at a time = 5 trips, also ensuring little to no lag for mobile players
My biggest problem with Sodor Online is that you have to pay to play as BoCo, Arthur, Murdoch and Spencer and how the map isn’t exactly consistent with the canon maps.
Gotta say i find myself playing btwf more than Sodor online Edit:there is a way to clear line faster and can be used by any character gordons snow machine also there are skins in btwf you gotta click under or on the whistle or cab engines
I don't think Sodor Online and btwf are competing because in the sodor online discord server (before the terrible admins banned me) I found Vick (The Owner of btwf) there and he said he had been talking to SpeedySkip, So maybe they're not competing? I dunno
I agree with Diana Sttar there are no rolling stocks in Silly Sodor when i played Silly Sodor for the first time and when i drive the train named James i will say "THERE ARE NO ROLLING STOCKS!😡" So he's right.

At first Cock O’ The North (I’m calling him just for the first word since that engine gave me a hard time) the couplings didn’t work 2. When the mission was playable…Something tells me the devs didn’t play test it since it was actually IMPOSSIBLE to get to the location. Needing to start from knapford-Crosby-Tidmouth in 12 minutes…no..7 minutes…You could tell it was impossible since 3. Updated again so the ending location is at Knapford There’s also another mission that was released that requires the SAME thing now… And the calendar is really stressing me out man, I want all the exclusive characters even if some of them don’t matter

I didn't even know that Prince of wales wheels locked up but I did the mission I ran out of time when I was at knapford but when went to platform 4 I somehow claimed him even after the timer went out
In exploring sodor i pulled 7 trains of of 10 trucks and a single train of 5 trucks which though not too fast at least let my phone work with out the train slowing down to much
14:44 This is inaccurate. BTWF does have skins, just not controlled by a GUI, you either click the whistle, the Undercarriage, or the cab on certain engines to get skins. (For Toby it’s his funnel, and For Edward, Donald/Douglas, and James you not only can click the whistle/undercarriage for skins, but also their tenders). What Sodor Online DOES do that BTWF doesn’t is preserve their winter updates (2024 Isle here. BTWF’s winter update has been preserved. And A lot of Engines are getting a new GUI that allows everything to be controlled from said GUI.)
Sodor 1955 isn’t the only game that has cars somewhere whales has a wide variety of engines an now in the most recent update you can read the history of the engines find old an scraped ones and find Ghost’s in the mind shafts of the coal mine
I don't like Sodor Simulator (Now called Nowhere Railways) because first of all, idk when they announce that the game is done, and even though theres like nothing done to have like to buy the game, you can still set an maximum on the server size, like only 6 can play. But Sodor Online (Now called Locos Online) is fun, only bad thigns is kids not caring about rules and break them.
