How this man always manages to inspire with his music, and his thoughts/beliefs is remarkable. Life would have been so different without his music.

His energy, his humility, his positive vibe is what inspires the world and makes everyone keep coming back to him, not just for music, but also for the humanity.

Wow, this is one of the BEST ARR interviews. Such an amazing idea of audience singing ARR's songs and then asking questions. Especially, the group rendition of Agar Tum Saath was great. The questions asked by the audience (as well as the host) were not your typical interview questions, rather more sincere and simple questions from audience (or from fans) who is genuinely interested. Great to hear the story behind Agar Tum Saath Ho. Also Kun Faya Kun and his other qawali inspired songs (For me, Piya Haji Ali tops all). Please do more episodes of this.
And bravo to the host for asking the daring question (first time heard someone asked it): why some of his songs lose their magic while other do not. Normally, people ask the opposite questions; why some of his songs take time to grow. But this was the opposite of it. Although ARR was on the right track to answer the question but at the end he answered more the typical question (why songs take time to grow) rather than the actual question asked (probably he was not prepared for it). For me, one of the song mentioned in this interview, Mayya Mayya, is actually an example of a song that lost its magic over years (for me). Back then when it came, it was one of my most heard song in that year, but I have not heard it again in the recent many years.

Chamkila was a larger than life character. His spontaneity was truly amazing, he rose well above the rest and touched the lives of many. A down to earth personality and a natural performer. If someone can do justice by recreating his magic, only a genius like A R Rahman can !

Extremely dated questions by the anchor . Getting Rahman sir for an interview is a privilege. Luckily the audience was amazing and made up for the lack of good questions by the anchor
