What a eventful day that was! Between the challan dodging thanks to the lenient police, the fuel shortage, the permit needed to enter the tribal areas, the lovely locals who helped me throughout the process...I would like to send a MASSIVE thanks to the Indian army/Police that facilitated my entry to the Spiti valley through the tribal areas. Call me a whiner, annoying, perseverant, whatever you want, but in the end, I made it in ;) Spiti valley, here I am! Hope you enjoy the vid and the riding footage guys
Note: Massive apologies for the gap in uploading lately, I am in an area where internet is...unpredictable! I will work harder to deliver more over the next week guys, I have some crazy content coming up!!! Thanks for the continuous support !!! 💙

These are really remote places, man. I think these permits are there because of the proximity to the border, not because it's tribal. If you go to Sikkim, you would need a permit too. I think even for Ladakh and definitely for Kashmir.

No need to be worried about the tribals, the permit is mainly for your safety as you will be traveling from a very sparsely populated area where there will be no help easily available in case of emergency(landslides, floods accidents and medical issues). This parmit will let the administration know about your whereabouts in the region .

Your parents raised you well. You always are always so grateful for everything you receive. I am so glad you have documented your journey so that when you are old and in your rocking chair you can relive this incredible journey of yours. It is a testimony that kindness can unite the world. India should give you honorary citizenship for representing India in such a good light to the rest of the world. Most people around the world think of India as just slums, Bollywood, religion and spiritual healing but it is so much more. None of these beautiful places and beautiful people are showcased on the world stage. You are a great ambassador for France. Most people in these places will never meet a foreigner and they will always remember you with fondness. You have been a bright light in their lives. Just your smile has touched their lives. It is a great legacy to leave behind when you all of us have to leave this world one day. Until then, make hay until the sun shines! Great honor to your parents and everyone else that help to raise you to be the good soul that you are today. Someone once said, "I may not be rich in money, but I am rich in things money can't buy".

Sorry for the inconvenience. Many things can go wrong in the mountains at that height. Authorities always keep count of tourists visiting the mountains for their safety as there are frequent land slides and heavy snowfalls occur in those areas. For every Indians, they just note the ID and let them pass, while for foreign IDs they ask for a permit, which is also a formal way to keep the count for foreigners. The permit process should be seamless and quick, which was not the case here. As an Indian, I really apologize for that from my heart. I felt more sorry as because you had to waste so much fuel today on several occasions for nothing.

So you’ll have to go to the SDM office in Leh city and try your luck. Hit me up if you need any help. Peace.

Additionally, tourists can easily get lost in these areas because the landscape is challenging. It's not the people who are dangerous but the geographical conditions. In case you get into an accident (which i wish you should never) on those roads in nights, you are very unlikely to get any help because almost no one travels on those roads in nights. Plus this area is close to China border so people are warned before travelling there from a safety point of view. As far as people are concerned, there areas has some of the most polite and hospitable people on earth who are super honest. Just remember one thumb rule: Never disrespect the place you go to and people who live there. You'll have one of the best experiences in your life. All the very best for your Journey through Himalayas. 👍

Hey mate hope you are doing well, sorry for the inconvenience on petrol pumps, as these are high altitude pumps sometimes it takes time to deliver the fuel on time, as the mountains are unpredictable.
    🙏❤️🇮🇳

It is border area with china occupied Tibet and and geopolitically very sensitive. That is why the security checks and clearances are a way to keep a tab. Sorry for inconvenience. When you are in North-east, be sure you know all about permits and restrictions. There the things are even more complicated. But it is definitely worth it. By the way, the tribes are not dangerous at all. You can find some of the nicest people up there in hills. But the hill itself can pose few challenges.

5:35 Yes, if the police accept gifts for leniency, they will end up in a soup. They are anyways not supposed to take food from anyone while on duty.

Bro I recommend Pondicherry in South India. It has a lot of leftover Indo French and Portoguese heritage. It'll be very relatable for both you and Indian viewers. Although biking there would be a herculean task. Full power lol

In India there many (protected) tribal area/states wr people needs a pass b4 entering that area....its an easy process...but it actually help the outsiders incase of any emergency coz it will b easy for the administration to trace them...
