After splitting with her coach, she got spiritually vampirized by everyone from the politicians to the royals after her US win. They all wanted a piece of her.. and it seems they're not done :)

Her IG followings were only ard 2k ppl before Wimby and snowballed to 2.1mil after the USO. Ppl followed and voted for her cos she is incredible, on court and off court. LTA has this scholarship PRO.. a 5yr.. program providing British tennis players to get through top 100 of the world through financial aid for travel abroad (both players and coaches) world class facilities, physio etc..I believe this come from tax payers money that provides this program.. Emma Raducanu was in her 3rd year in the program when she run this remarkable achievements at US Open.. perhaps she made this decision to make room for other aspiring players for the program and be trained by LTA coaches like Richardson.. now that she can afford to finance her own team... without taking tax payers money for her career.. well I might be wrong this was base my own opinion.. there's always 2sides of a coin.. and this my sides..🥰🥰

I do anticipate her winning more Grand Slam tournaments in the next five years, but for now, I'm just looking forward to seeing her don her whites at next years Wimbledon, and hoping to see her come up against Leylah again. If Emma wins it may finally gain her some respect from Leylah's supporters. If Leylah wins, it will start to even the score. I think Leylah is the better player, but she's yet to beat Emma on the day, and I think Emma has the greater potential, but she needs to improve. One way or another, women's tennis will be far more interesting to watch in future. We'll still have a bit of grunting, but hopefully the age of screaming is ending.

But which nation educated her? Which nation's tennis association nurtured her tennis talent from a young age? Which nation has "she" chosen to represent at international level? The answer to those questions is Britain (The UK). Just listen to her speak, she does speak Romanian, and speaks Chinese like a native, but when she's speaking English she sounds like a typical middle class English girl.

What bollocks! He is a coach of junior players, and before her excursion to the States this summer hadn't coached her for years. A more important person to her during that trip was her physio. Because she'd concentrated on her academic studies up until April, she lacked the physical conditioning that other WTA regularly have. Her physio kept her in the best possible physical condition, her coach kept her mentally focused, but she was the one who had to perform on court.
Unexpected by all, she performed way above everyone's expectations, including her own. At the outset, she's just wanted to gain experience before attempting to qualify for next year's Australian Open. A natural conclusion to this was entering qualification for the US Open, and indeed they'd booked their flights back to England before the champion commenced. But despite one close match, she won het three qualifying matches. She was in her second Grand Slam event, but this time without relying on a wild card. This time she she was there on playing merit.
And then her odyssey continued. She not only defeated her next seven opponents, she didn't drop a set in the process. What she did was unprecedented. Unlike other tennis protégées, she'd kept up her academic studies, in a public funded English grammar school, and she excelled.
Emma is not a sporting phenom, but what she achieved at this years US Open was phenomenal, and the grace, dignity and eloquence she displayed during post match interviews won her many admirers. Not least from the fashion industry. A beautiful bilingual (I'm discounting her ability to converse in Romanian) athlete was bound to attract non sporting sponsors.
I'm not a tennis fan, but I am a fan of outstanding human individuals. By most people's metrics, Emma qualifies as such. My measure of success for her for next year is for her to remain in the top 50 in the world rankings. I do anticipate her winning more Grand Slam tournaments in the next five years, but for now, I'm just looking forward to seeing her don her whites at next years Wimbledon, and hoping to see her come up against Leylah again.
If Emma wins it may finally gain her some respect from Leylah's supporters. If Leylah wins, it will start to even the score. I think Leylah is the better player, but she's yet to beat Emma on the day, and I think Emma has the greater potential, but she needs to improve.
One way or another, women's tennis will be far more interesting to watch in future. We'll still have a bit of grunting, but hopefully the age of screaming is ending.
