Layout Tour #1, HO scale industrial switching layout

- Table details: 24” x 96”, Sievers bench work modules, 1” foam and Peco 83 flex track/#6 switches
Giving a tour of the table now that track has been laid, mostly glued and painted/powered and tested along with initial layout lighting and what’s next! #modeltrains #hoscale
That fire extinguisher is a VERY nice touch to the entrance of the refrigerated warehouse, it really sets it off. I can almost imagine walking into the building. 100% prototypical.
BTW, yes, I've seen a fire in a huge freezer warehouse.

I like the way this layout is coming along! I wondered how you were going to make a switching puzzle using your modern equipment (long wheelbase cars and such) but the way the sidings are arranged and the depth created by having the track closer to the backscene makes it feel very convincing, without being crowded. Excited to see what comes next!
Thank you! That was/is the intent, as I could've made the table narrower, but felt like that would seem too cramped - leaves some empty space but no space truly is empty so looking forward to filling it out with smaller details as I figure those out!
