Thanks for the video I have the 22x9 black Chevy wheels and have been wanting to do 35s on my leveling kit. Hard to find a video with someone actually explaining with 22s 👍
Jon Clark Thanks man. It already came with a leveling kit on it when I brought it. I was going to go with a 3in level but I seen I could clear without doing it. But I installed leveling kits on trucks.
I have 1/4 pacer on mine and it still rubs the sway bar. You may can try 1/2 spacer and that should get you on the sway bar, but you will have to watch out for the bumper then.
@@jamesyork6023 Hey that’s all that matters. Did you take your lower part of your bumper off? I was going to try 1/2 but I never got around to it. I have done got use to driving with it so I hardly ever rub the sway bar anymore.

JC Garage I’m honestly not sure what brand level it is. It was already installed when I brought the truck. The rear is also leveled with air bags also.
Eric B it all depends on what kind of tire you get and how wide the tire is. The part that rubs is the side wall of the tire. If you go with ones with big aggressive side wall then you will rub. But if you get a non aggressive side wall then the likely chances of you rubbing goes down.
Yes that is custom. You have to removed the seats and cut a small section of the brackets that hold the seat to back of the cab. I believe it was an inch or so. Super simple to do.
bryan brooks it’s a 5.3. With my tune it affects gas mileage for sure but power not so much. I can easily turn them over with no hesitation. I’m not really sure if I didn’t have my truck tuned if it would affect any power.
bryan brooks I have a laptop tune from hp tuner on it I’m not sure what the specs are but it’s a fuel mileage tune. I was getting 22 mph before I put the 35s on it and it may have raised it up an inch or so not much that you can tell it honestly.
That’s the air line going to the air bag. It’s actually under the frame rail. But it does look like it’s on the exhaust. It was previously installed before I got the truck.
@@parkersgarage6680 so I have a question, I have a 2014 and I wanna get rid of the muffler and add a straight pipe to get some rumble but if I do that do I need to leave the valve in the pipe that opens and closes on the inside or will that mess up the afm?
@@Jayden_2261 no it will not mess anything up, all the flap does is opens and closes when the truck has back pressure(V8 mode) or doesn’t have back pressure (V4 mode). The honestly only difference it may make is that it may sound slightly different, nothing to noticeable. I have mine stuck open at all times.

i’m running 35 gladiator X comps on a 3” level kit and 3” spacers front and back had too trim a good amount but it looks good

Jess Crayton you are spot on! I’m not sure on the leveling kit’s correct height due to being previously installed before I got the truck.

Just did 22” flakes and 285/55 ridge graps on a 2.5” level. Need to get a 1/4 spacer or something to address the sway bar rub

Great looking truck! Do you think I would rub on 33s with those same wheels on a 2 inch level kit?
You shouldn’t have any problems with rubbing with a 33. You should have plenty of room.
I Have a 2017 1500 and installed 2 1/2 leveling block under the shock and run 275/70R18(33x10.8) on stock wheels with no rubbing.
What year and did you mod it to get the back seat to fold down? How much lift?
It’s a 2016 and yes I had to cut about 2” or so off the mounts that keep the back of the seat secured to the body.
Does it rub on the fender I have a 18 denali with a 2” level and 22” rims I’d like to get the same tires as you
Robbie Jaegle no rub on the fenders. Only place that it runs is the sway bar. I’m going to do a in depth video of it here soon.

Tyrone Mr J it’s a 2in level on it. No trimming or anything. Only rubs sway bar on full lock.

Do you have a link to the cutout?
Raul Rivera I don’t a buddy gave the cutout to me. Just get a cutout that has a motor on it similar to a window motor. They work the best.
So I could go 35” with stock 20 inch rim and have no rubbing ?

Yes you can. Those rims I had were factory offset. It only rubbed alittle on the sway bar and the edge of the fender

It’s a 2in lift but a 3in will give you more clearance.
Does it have the NorCal mod done?
It doesn’t have any cutting or trimming done to it. Only had to removed the mud flaps and the lower trim piece on the bumper.
How does it ride and what kind of struts
It rides smooth and it has the stock struts on it. There is some tire noise once’s the tires wear.
I just got a 2017 high country and I can’t figure out how to fold the seat down mine only fold up. Was that custom or am I stupid lol

Did you delete afm?
It is. I have a laptop tune on it for fuel mileage. But it doesn’t help mileage any with these 35s on it.

It just involves alittle bit of cutting on the back seats. Nothing that is to bad noticeable. I could do a video on it if you would like.
