I originally only watched this video because it was a part of my English assignment, but watching this video was so inspirational and touching (especially as an artist myself). Neil Gaiman has a way with his words really!

I probably loop back to rewatch this at least once per year. I have a transcription of it in my "commonplace book." Decades of being a writer, and I still need this message often.

This is the most inspirational speech I've ever heard addressing young artists. Thank you so much to Neil Gaiman for his advice and the attitude with which he expressed it!

One of my absolute favorite pieces of advice. Can't believe it is still so relevant 12 years later. I come back to hear it at least once a year and quote it so much more often. This also reminds me of Dory from Finding Nemo - Just keep swimming. Make good art, such a simple yet powerful message.

One of the most under-watched and under-valued videos on TH-cam.

When Neil talked about the transitioning and future, who knew AI would impact jobs in the creative field first. This world continues to surprise me and not for the better.

I literally am watching this video solely because I have to answer questions about it on my English exam tomorrow. It is 3 am right now. I should stop procrastinating..

Is it possible to use this audio for a short film about artists?

As an aspiring author especially, this is a really, *really* good talk to listen to. It's even more directly applicable to a creator than Steve Jobs's commencement address at Stanford. Wow! :D
