Wow, that seems contradictory. PS5 should run better (even considering thats the same version of the game)
I mean, it should show some improvement.
I'd start trying maybe to change the HDR config. on PS5 and to see if this gets better
probably becaus ps4 version runs in 1080 p (native ) whereas ps5 runs it at checkerboarded 4k ( half as much as on the xbox one x ) which gives it a smeared and unclear look - probably one of the worst implementations of checkerboard 4k -what a pity

I'm coming from PlayStation 4 on 1080p to PlayStation 5 on 4k. Will I see a difference?

That's a great upgrade. You'll probably notice a lot of differences :D
It’s not native 4K on PS5, the game is honestly quite blurry because of the poor checkerboard rendering they implemented, but the series x runs it at native 4K, so it’s the best console version to play it on.

The new gen consoles deserves for a enhanced version of this game :D
PS5 runs the PS4 Pro version which is not 4K, just barely 1440p.
Series X runs the Xbox One X version which was native 4K.
All consoles run the game at 30 fps however.

This is not 60 FPS.. they havent released a patch yet! Trust me, we are all waitting for the day 😅

@@mind_the_gameplay its a slow paced game so you dont really need 60 fps or higher

You don't really feel 30fps on RDR2 comparing to any racing game, for example.
But it would be great if/when Rockstar do some upgrade for the new generation of consoles.
I think we're all waiting for this combined to a graphics improvement that the new genetarion is capable.
