@@jackcassidy9963 I wasn’t a huge fan of Zeta’s Morticia but I think Luis Guzman as Gomez was just so fun, he’s the kinda dude that’s just got such a loveable vibe and look, harmless but still strong and protective of his loved ones. Perfect Gomez vibes imo, even if Catherine didn’t compliment him perfectly.

I think it's worth watching. I'm still in the process of finishing the last 2 epsiodes, but I really like the show. I think it's generic and Wednesday through Jenna's lense is really nice. I never expected it to be this grand thing, so I just enjoy it for what it is, and in my opinion, it's pretty good.
Yeah, I think the fact that it got so popular meant that people were going in with higher expectations than they would’ve otherwise had. I went into it quite early, so I just expected a fun, kind of campy Addams Family-type show. The only thing I didn’t like was the ‘WB teen drama’ feel of a few episodes, but it didn’t really detract from my overall enjoyment of the show.

I'd thought the show would be much darker, including the characters around her and less of a typical teen high school drama. But the show would be less popular and I don't think it's a bad thing that it is popular. It's a pretty enjoyable show, Wednesday and Thing (pretty much the Addams family) make the show unique which is how it's always been for the Addams family.
If it wasnt for the dumb love triangle that made the show drag and the predictable mystery it wouldve been great, Jenna Ortega carried this on her back

i'd say that 'wednesday' was a decent show, but it does need some improvements such as better dialogue, good character development for season 2, and more female writers or writers of color in the room minimum. (i do love jenna ortega and some of the other cast members though)

Absolutely worth finishing Aaron!! The plot line is amazingly put together, keeps you on your toes and has so many turns. This Wednesday series is one of my favourite series on Netflix

It’s so worth watching idk it might be a joke at times but it’s engaging enough with the plot and just the Adams series as a whole. I would love to see y’all continue it I would fs watch every second if there’s one thing I love about a binge worthy show is having great commentary to go with it❤
please PLEASE watch it through to the end- the first half was directed by tim and followed his vision really closely so it reads kinda goofy but the second half was directed by someone else and actually does some clever things with a nice tonal shift. def worth staying until the end
Also the good thing about this show is that it starts off silly sometimes a little cringe like you said at the end there, but it only gets better. I promise you will not regret watching the whole show! ❤🎉
I think Wednesday is definitely worth watching ! It’s not a perfect show, but it’s very enjoyable and a bit camp, and it has a lot to like and even love about it. It genuinely gets better as the plot further unravels a few episodes in (though I find the beginning to already be pretty solid). I believe it got way too much hate - the arguments against it are often valid and true, but absolutely blown out of proportion.
