I'm running a morn glory, tumnus and a jhs @plus and get all the tones I'll ever need through a dream 65 and DI out. Who needs an amp? 😁 Aloha from Maui 🤘😎🤙
Jersey Strong! I think they both sounded good, it just depends what you want to hear. The gain pedals are the ones I am constantly switching in and out on my pedal board in the never ending quest for tone.
I don't know what your experience was but when I returned a pedal to Sweetwater they kept a portion of what I paid for it which I thought was way to much. Nice little jam bro.
I got hold of the Reissue Marshall Bluesbreaker it sounded organic and natural where my JHS sounded synthetic and thin. The good news is you can sell your JHS for maybe even what you paid for it and quickly 😇 Just don't go around wising up anyone. Most buy with there eyes and whatever marketing is supplied by music cultures elite tell them that was made by the hands of the gods of the new and improve pedals. The problem is no one necessarily has new and improved ears.
The original and the reissue blues breaker are not even close to the same pedal. The original sells for $600+ I’m quite happy with the JHS Morning Glory.
hmmm... good insight here. I'm using a George Dennis overdrive for my 1st gain stage, but I'm looking to upgrade, and I was checking out morning glory vids, but this comment hit me. i might widen my scope to the bluesbreaker as well...
Maybe isolated power supply would help you. Or different interconnect cables. edit I see you power them with daisy chain cables. That may be (or certainly is) source of your troubles. Harley Benton makes cheap but effective isolated power supplies. Also when you route your cables, try to avoid leading them right at power cables. Boss BPC cables are super nice but costly. First swap power supply, than try to swap interconnect cables. And hit that unsubscribe button. You are welcome.
That black/blue patch cable is bad. I almost re-shot the entire video. I made up this little pedal board for the video. My real rig isn’t nearly this noisy. I might do a video on the whole board with all my effects.
He’s right…. It’s the power supply it needs its own isolated power supply with the round little thing on it. I bought my morning glory used and almost threw it in the trash - I thought it was blown or something - sounded noisy and absolutely awful. I was very pissed. …..Turns out they are super sensitive to the right power supply. Once I got the right power supply it was quiet (noiseless) and sounded great! It’s the power supply - 💯
Well none has to Buy everything that Josh promotes, I always watch well if not the tone I’m looking for I don’t buy, I gotto say Josh is not giging musician or someone that dedicated his life to gig so that’s why I don’t agree in pretty much %70 of what he tries to sale , he infocuz way too much on nerd experiment music, radio head , nirvana and ect nothing he likes is good at alll to play real Music or to work in a band where you need a lot versatile playing and sounds. So just press attention, also Josh trys just stuff on his own jhs amp and costume guitar with pickups that I know they will never funk or feel or soul or even shred. Only the I try Charlie the jhs compressor are the only pedals I like he made , anything else it’s not that amazing ones you really try it all.
I’m having a tough time understanding you. I hope it’s a language barrier and not a grammar barrier. First of all… yes, Josh does gig and record. He said so in his videos. Also… the Morning Glory is BY FAR the best transparent over drive I’ve ever used. Thanks for the click.
@@techjimmi got you man, man welll his playing doesn’t show he gigs for reals 😅 and when I was referring to giging I was referring to someone that really works doing music giging 6 nights a week at bars, casinos, shows, concert any situation , full time job, yeah I forgot about the morning glory, but man his products are mostly for people that play at home or gig sometimes. The noise is how we know it’s not a kemper😅
Love the deadpan ode to Josh
Definitely not a Kemper…. I felt so betrayed. Thank you for getting our tribute. I love Josh and his crew.

This project didn’t end well. I now have all three gain pedals on my board. 🤦🏻♂️
You've got so much hum 😫
We’ve since killed it.
I agree with you. Josh ruins us financially 😂 But pls stop trying to sound like Josh, you have good enough content by yourself.
Thanks for noticing. I thought it’d be extra fun to do this video in Josh’s deadpan style.
Jimmi!!!
Bro, you’re back in the dirty Jersey?! Hit a brother up!
Great channel btw. Great playing too!

As long as you’re within 45 days Sweetwater allows you to return. You just have to pay return shipping.
@JERSEY SHORE GUITAR GARAGE yes I know that but they also charge a restocking fee or something of that nature.
@@jimmyb4728 I was lucky enough not to get hit with that I guess.
Nice playing sir.
Thank you sir. I didn’t do this for attention but like the typical guitarist… I’ll take it. 🤪😂🤣

Yes, of course. I love the Morning Glory.
Awww I forgot his jhs buffers don’t work well if you have more than 8 pedals on your board, vertex it’s the way
Great playing. A little editing would go a long way. Sarcasm is not working! I don’t hear a lot of difference. It’s whatever you like best.

Yeah, it destroyed him, poor wretch. I think your suggestion may help though.
unbearable hum and noise
Agreed. We rewired the whole thing.
