i use to stay in the dungeon doing nothing to listen to it in my bed
it's special to me

Excellent piano arrangement of Elemental Stars! According to the description, you also seem to enjoy Sakuraba's other works and solo albums. Hope you're enjoying "Forest of glass", Sakuraba's piano only album, he makes a lot of great piano tunes, I like "Fly" and "Tone Blender". I also generally love Sakuraba's more melancholic piano pieces as well.
Thank you so much! I do like the solo album a lot, but my favorites are the prog rock ones like What's Up? and Gikyokounsou. There's a couple of nice melancholic piano tracks on those ones, too :)
@@AnimalisaKeys Indeed, his progressive rock pieces are among my favorites from Sakuraba too (Doom Dragon from GS2, The True Nature of All from Valkyrie Profile, Fly Away in the Violet Sky from Star Ocean 3, "Passage", "Blast of Wind" from Passage album, the world above the heavens from Tales of Nerseria and many many more!). I just mentioned the piano album first, since you did a piano cover of Elemental Stars and thought piano would be your favorite instrument, but Sakuraba shines in all sorts of keyboards besides his Bosendorfer grand piano (he's a heavy user of Minimoogs, Hammond Organs, Mellotron, and basically synths you'd find in a 70s prog setup, though Sakuraba makes great orchestral music too - Golden Sun main theme, Eternal Sonata music, Dark Souls, Infinite Undiscovery, Valhalla Knights Eldar Saga)

Take it from a long-time fan of GS that the music still holds up even to this day. For being on the GBA, the sound team pushed the score for this series to the handheld's limits. And it was so worth it.

Animalisa Keys my pleasure! Composing music is a passion of mine, but I do it using a DAW and can’t actually play any instruments in real life. I adore the piano and have the utmost respect for anyone that can do what you do, especially as well as you do it. And the fact that I haven’t seen sheet music in any of your videos means, at least to me, that you make your own arrangements and play them by heart. That’s incredible, especially considering how outstanding they are. Well done!

Thanks :) No, unfortunately I don't write down what I arrange :( The notes weren't too difficult to pick out on this one (it's got a lot of patterns and repetition), but it was tricky to figure out how to bring out all the voices
